Hotels with pool in Hersonissos

The pools were renovated and look amazing!! There aren't enough sunbeds for everyone and many guests seem to "reserve" sunbeds by simply placing their towels on top for the whole day

If anyone is actually reading this review, I would propose to place a sign that sunbeds can't be reserved. Not everyone is there at the same time. Another splution could be baskets for towels and personal belongings

Add a basket near each umbrella, if the sunbeds aren't occupied but there are towels and personal things on them, people can put them in the basket and use the sunbeds

Put up a sign explaining the purpose of the baskets and that sunbeds cannot be reserved. The staff in the whole hotel was extremely friendly, understanding and competent

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Excellent facilities with a swimming pool front and at the back of the main building. Great food and drinks.

Nice hotel but the food is just ok. After 5 days everything repeats and gets boring. Nice pool area and bars. Low budget drinks are ….. ok. Small cups for LQ cocktails

One particular evening, his favourite dessert was not on display and the chef asked if everything was alright, when I joked there was no jelly, he appeared with a few jellies for him

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

They then went out of their way to ensure their was lots of variety of foods for him to choose from each always checking in with us each evening to ensure he was ok

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

Victoria was fantastic, I've had many massages and she was by far the best

Pool area Lovely comfy sunbeds however you need to reserve early to get a spot by the pool. At times it is quite a shady area with the trees and the building itself. Restaurant Plenty of choice of food

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always available. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped

Please don't take glasses (in case U don't order) from table on diner time

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

The only food that was tasty and appropriate for the hotel level was the food that was paid extra in the restaurant on the beach/pool

Room was kept clean, the cleaners are so friendly as were the pool/bar staff as well as spa. Emma the spa manager was lovely as was our therapist Dimirta

The hotel should give guests complimentary late checkout especially when they are not so busy. The hotel is beautiful and the food did not fail during our half board stay

The lady who checked me in was super friendly and l liked that they actually took you to your room when you first check in that is a nice touch

And the bath towels were not big enough, they were just medium size hand towels

The pool area is ok but definitely has the feel of it having once been a car park or something. Breakfast is just ok, food selection is broad but the quality is really quite poor

Our stay for our honeymoon was amazing. The staff upgraded us to the most incredible room, and every single staff member is extremely kind and friendly. The all inclusive food was delicious and plentiful

From the moment i arrived at the Palmera Spa Hotel, i knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, modern comfort wrapped in a serene, welcoming setting

Food was well varied and always of good quality, we ate well every day, there were plenty of drink options. The garden with the sunlougers was very beautiful and was a nice place to ay in the sun and relax

We stayed in a pool view maisonette which had everything you could want for a self catering stay. I know some rooms had amazing sea views too. The pool is very small (but well maintained)

Great stay here at the hotel. The Spa team around Mikaela is awesome. If you catch a rainy day (or not) it‘s an absolute recommendation to get the full Cretan body massage - Aspasia and Ifigenia are awesome! 5/5 stars!

Spa experience with Aspasia was absolutely exceptional. From the moment the treatment began, she created such a calm and soothing atmosphere that I was able to completely switch off and relax

I took a "Sweet Love" package for my treatment option. Ifigenia, who executed the treatment, was very professional, friendly and clearly experienced at her job. Would heartily recommend the spa!

Aspasia clearly has a real talent for what she does. Her professionalism, care, and attention to detail made this one of the best treatments I’ve had

I think it is much better suited to adults (than children) as there is not so much much room for swimming but it’s perfect for cooling off. The staff are all very kind and the barman is quite funny

Robes, slippers, beach towels, Scandinavian Skog ( lush hotel amenities!!). Loved it!! The breakfast was on the rooftop , and had all you need to kickstart the day. So delicious and great variation

Super friendly and helpful staff! We really enjoyed the view from our balcony (sea is like few meters away!) and the location is perfect - very queit but just couple of meters away from the main Herssonisos street

The only good part of staying here was their food, the kitchen staff were nice people, and I liked their pool area, but that’s it

Clearly the receptionist lied to us, which is not very nice if you ask me. Moreover, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (and from my experience, hotels usually give you little bottles of shower gel among others)

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but the food variety is poor. There’s very little fruit available, and there are no snacks or fruit offered between 2 pm and 7 pm, even though we had an all-inclusive package

We went back to the reception and asked the receptionist (a young guy) if this is their standard triple room since we saw something else on their website

Pretty good place, the pools great and the food was really nice and theres amazing people there too, the only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes but its okay.

The sunbeds come with tables and umbrellas, and there are plenty of lovely seating areas around the pool to relax. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the whole resort immaculate

We stayed at the end of September and had an amazing stay. We would highly recommend this hotel – it’s beautiful, spotless, and very well kept, offering a genuine 4-star holiday experience

Entertainment - there was a very enthusiastic guy leading the entertainment both during the day and in the evening, I honestly don’t know how he kept going! Around the pool there were games daily, aqua fit and water polo

Lovely friendly and extremely hardworking staff we stayed in block 200 which is in excellent position between the main pool and the adult (quiet) pool

The gym was very small and no air con so advise getting there before the day gets too hot! Layout - the photos always give the impression it’s quite compact but if you aren’t near the centre then it’s a long walk up a big hill! Luckily there was a van / golf cart to help out

There were other activities too such as Pilates - possibly the best view I’ve ever had doing Pilates! There could have been a bit more for teens, and it was a shame the games room wasn’t in the centre of the hotel but a bit further out, but that was only a tiny thing

If you are looking to hire a car this can be done easily from the hotel for a reasonable price, but there are also a multitude of car / quad bike/scooter hire companies on the doorstep and bus connection is just outside the hotel

When we arrived we let them know and they showed my son all the things he could have. They were also happy to prepare gluten free bread, pizza and pasta too, and it really seemed no bother

Any query we had was dealt with perfectly by the front desk where whoever we spoke to was more than happy to go above and beyond to help. Pool staff were really lovely and bar staff too

The music in the day was not too loud which was great and almost sunbeds were in sunlight most of the day too which was great for October! The pool was always very clean and not too busy even though the hotel was fully booked, and rarely had reserved sunbeds too

Our stay at Cooks Club Hersonissos was amazing. Firstly the staff were all incredible

With half board, you get a credit to spend — which is actually a clever system — and the food itself was very good and delicious. But having to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast is just absurd

That should simply be included 🤷🏼♀️

The location is great too being only a 5 minute walk from most busy restaurants at the seafront

Have just returned from a 7 day break at the Caldera Palace with the wife my son his fiancée and my 3 yr old grand daughter We had rooms 8001 family swim up and 8002 double swim up Room was large massive queen size bed and brim on all inc was nice to have a complimentary bottle of wine along with the mini bar that was replenished each day Food in the main restaurant was really good with a vast selection...

The hotel complex is large with a number of pools including adult area (that you don't need to pay extra for so parents can take advantage of some quiet time whilst the children are in kids club) family and splash pool

The rooms are spotless and clean, the staff are very helpful and we loved the waiter service for drinks by the pool. We have visited twice and enjoyed both holidays

Sometimes you get coffee from a push button machine, also gross. Then at breakfast you can be served what I think is filter? Could be wrong but regardless, it's disgusting. So apart from the coffee, great hotel

They have espresso machines and sometimes you get coffee from the 'proper' machines, I don't understand the why and where of getting coffee from a espresso machine but sometimes it arrives

Great hotel, staff are fantastic. If you're after an All In holiday it's hard to complain about it. However, the coffee is absolutely gross

The standard of rooms is excellent, from towels robes, beds, AC etc. The shower rooms vary slightly, some rooms have a basic wetroom the others have a shower screen

Lovely modern little hotel! We arrived late in the night and the recptionist gave us access to the restaurant to have late dinner! The rooms were modern and stylish! The food was perfect! We recomend this hotel 100%!!!!

Stylish hotel with new renovated rooms. The restaurant was fantastic on the top of the roof with amazing view. There were plenty of choices for food and the staff is very helpful.

There are 2! swimming pools, a pool table, nice lounging chairs in the hotel's common area

The rooms have a balcony and look freshly renovated, though they can feel compact, but just to make you get on your feet and explore the area. The air conditioner was powerful enough to handle the peak of Cretan summer

Room service is frequent and satisfactory. The restaurant is on the roof! This makes for a gorgeous view all around. The food served is always varied, with an emphasis on local ingredients

I have stayed at multiple JW and Ritz hotels and the service here is at that level if not better. The hotel itself is immaculate. Our room was always super clean with fresh towels and sheets

The breakfast was perfect, so much choice! The hotel is well located with a huge amount of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and lovely places like Koutouloufari and Stalis just a short distance away

There are also rental car agencies near the hotel where you can rent a car for a day and go hike Timios Stavros (the tallest mountain on Crete and another Unesco heritage site)

We had the best time at Vasia Boulevard. The staff were amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh bedding supplied everyday

Two minute walk to the bus stop where the local bus can take you up and down the coast for a couple of Euros. This is important because the local taxis are $$$$

Even though you are on the other side of the island from Samaria Gorge, you can still arrange a tour with an agent in town (highly recommended)

The rooms fit every budget, and cleanliness was excellent in our experience daily tidying, frequent towel changes, and fresh sheets twice a week Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, including local dishes, hot options, desserts, coffee and juices

Friendly staff, clean room, nice pool, a lot of young people , you have luggage room to leave your luggage until your room is ready to check in, billiard table and a nice view from balcony

Agrabella Hotel is such a gem in Hersonissos! The location is spot-on, just a short walk (2–3 minutes) to tavernas, supermarkets, the bus stop, and the beach, but tucked away in a quiet spot, away from the late night noise you usually get right by the sea It’s a family-run business, and you can really feel the care

Some guests complain it’s “the same every day” but in reality, it’s more of a Mediterranean spread of starters, and we enjoyed it. Only minor downside… don’t expect sea views unless you book the luxury top-floor rooms

The location is perfect, just 2–3 minutes to the sea, tavernas, shops, bus stops, and even the local aquarium (which we definitely recommend visiting), yet still quiet and peaceful at night

The hotel is great so are the staff the food is awful it was cold every time and there is not enough sunbeds no hand rails down to the pool and to get to the beach are about 20 steps which is not disabled friendly

loved the food, the location of the hotel was perfect. such a relaxed pool space never had problem getting a sunbed. overall loved our stay in Mari Kristen and would most definitley return , thank you Dave and Sandra

Very small pool but enough beds for this time of the season. This hotel is definitely not four star rating ( probably more like a 3 star) and doesn't look anything like the photos on the website

Lovely hotel staff were brilliant we have three of us that or disabled the three young lads were lovely they looked after us for the 10 days we were there food was OK pool was a bit small but overall it was nice would recommend it the young lady on reception was very good the moment we got there to the moment we left

The room was spacious and the hotel was nice. Cleaning could have been a bit better. There were a few minor issues in the room - nothing big. So close to the beach and there are all kind of shops around.

After getting there late, we were greeted with the most warm welcome from Mike( who is definitely a credit to the Hotel) right from start of holiday to end. could not find any fault with hotel at all

Really really good food for good prices! nice service and the location is top! We were here in the Restaurant and the beach lounges (not in the hotel) and it is so nice and food is super delicious!! Would give 10 stars if i could

The hotel provide sunbeds for an extra fee, which we maybe were not expecting but it was totally fair and worth it. The breakfast buffet is simple but filling

We have tried a few other restaurants, a few were disappointing but this one was spot on every single time. The staff are incredibly serviceminded, delightful and helpful! The drinks- skip the other places

When we first arrived, the service was phenomenal. We were early, and were provided luggage storage until the room was cleaned. We were also provided som breakfast

We have frequently been walking over to the "pub street". It's super loud and busy, so it's great to stay on the more quiet side

That being said about the restaurant, the breakfast at the hotel doesn't have a lot of variation, and most food tastes like nothing. The location is right in front of the beach, and close to the strip

Pool area is very quiet and doesnt really get much sun in the day time until later, I only spent my first day around the pool and was alone most of the time, the rest of the time I went to the beach or excursions

It does mention that towels are only cleaned once every 2 days, but in a 7 day-stay, I think my bedding was only changed twice, so the cleaning schedule is a bit sporadic

Special shout outs to Genti the barman, who was really funny; friendly and helpful, Elli and Yannis at reception, and the waiting staff at breakfast and dinner all lovely, friendly and helpful as I was travelling solo

We stayed in this hotel for 7 days in July of 2024. Here is a short recap and a recommendation: -location: 3 minutes walking distance to the main street, 5 minutes from first beach, still always so quite and peaceful

Otherwise, the rooms are always very clean. The location is ideal, the walk to the shopping street is very short, and the beach is just behind it. You can reach everything on foot, but we didn't experience any noise

I went across to the reception, and someone came over to fix it right away! They had also saved me some light salad/ cheeses/ meats as it was past the dinner time, which I thought was really nice

The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children were all sat on one lounger! The pool area is not manned in any way so once the towels are gone they...

There were only a few people and we extended until 2 p.m. because of golf at 10:20 a.m. and we were charged a day use at €30, not very commercial, plus no rate on the Green Fée as a hotel guest... golf hotel not great

The room is very luxurious and spacious. The food was delicious and overall a great place to stay after a round of golf! I would reccommend staying here when playing golf or just if you look for some time to relax!

Staff went above and beyond our expectations! Lovely, friendly and helpful people. Once again, thank you guys! Hope we can come back in September. Hotel is quiet, classy and very comfortable. Highly recommended it.

The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The view during breakfast was breathtaking, like something out of a painting
