A lovely outside dining area in addition to the indoor one, redecorated and refurbished bedrooms, but the lovely atmosphere is unchanged and the food as nice as ever and the rooms lovely and clean as always

If you want an amazing experience during your holidays, then it’s the best place to choose from! The hotel staff treats you like their own family, their kindness is overwhelming and they are always there for you if you need any help

The food is great and the staf is very friendly and helpful, they will do everything to make your stay memorable! Also children are most welcome here. We can really recommend this family hotel!

We returned to this lovely family hotel in May this year, we have been going there for 10 years now but we had not been able to go for more than 2 years because of the Pandemic

Great place to stay! Clean rooms with AC and excellent food. Hotel located 15 minutes from bus stop, where you can catch a bus. At night - it's a quiet place to rest

Nice, cheap, little hotel, very close to the beach and all restaurants and shops. Very convenient center location but no traffic noise. There was access to some little swimming pool

There was lovely lady/reception or manager that made the check in very nice, let me in to the room much earlier free of charge. Would recommend but only to those who basically only need bed and shower

Hotel needs a bit of investment and refurbishment or some freshen up as rooms are old but everything was in working order so could not really complain

Those who needs luxury design or have high expectations and wants to pay nothing, look for somewhere else please

He makes this himself and it is very pure. When we checked out at noon, we could use the pool until our cab arrived at 4 in the afternoon. Our stay was very nice and pleasant and we recommend it to everyone

On the last day they allowed us to take a shower even though we did the check out in the morning. We had the flight in the evening so we went to te beach. They had bring us clean towels also

The reception girl is so pleasant and she makes the best cold coffees. The guy is very friendly and nice to talk to. Hotel also has a nice pool in the backyard

They should improve the breakfast options, we ate the same thing over and over again for 7 days. The receptionist on the night shift is not very friendly. There's also a pool, but we haven't used it

At the end the owner told us a story about how he makes his own olive oil and raki after the holidays and in November they have a big party every year. He even gave us all 1x 100ml raki or 1x 100ml olive oil per person

We arrived on July 21 and left on July 28. When we arrived they were very welcoming and open-hearted, we were early before the rooms were ready. We had some shots and cocktails with the staff and chatted with them

Very friendly and generous staff. Cozy and clean hotel,big rooms, quiet, nice view, 10 min to the beach, 5 min to the nearest supermarket. Towels changed 3 times during our week stay. We’ll definitely go back next year!

A very nice small hotel with a friendly atmosphere and staff, close to the beach and the markets. Good food and a very pleasant garden with a swimming pool, where the kids spent many and many hours...

Good and friendly staff, big rooms, linen is changed daily, tasty dinner with traditional Greek food, very clean pool, close to the sandy beach. We had a great time at this hotel, hope to come back next year

Lovely rustic hotel, such a warm welcome when I arrived. They even saved me dinner as I arrived late. This little hotel was a perfect get away for three nights. The food was traditional and room was clean

it was the best option available for a modest travel budget. We didn't expect anything special from the hotel. The room was clean, we were cleaned often, the trash was taken out every day

It also has an amazing Pool and reading other comments saying the pool is near a very busy road I can reassure that once you are in the pool, you realise the road traffic doesn't effect the pool at all, is a very nice clean and relaxing place

Stayed here as newly weds! Beautiful, peaceful area. Marina and her husband are such lovely, kind, polite people! Nothing is too much trouble. Buses or hire a car into town center. Homemade biscuits are wonderful

highlights of our stay was the BBQ party which included Greek dancing. I can now tick that off my bucket list. Marina's food and homemade cakes are out of this world!! Felt incredibly blessed to have stayed here

Nothing is to much trouble for the owner lady Marina, we came during the Covid pandemic and kitchen wasnt open so I cannot say anything about the food, but for the Greek hospitality this place is amazing

I absolutely love this place! The family absolutely made our holiday! I've been back more than once and would go back again and again simply because how special it is and the memories we created there.

Personal is kind and responsive. Not so far see and mountains ☺️ And shops to by souvenirs. Pool is good and there are sun loungers. You are in the midle of the Hersonissos

Location is the best near the center as well the beach was within 5 minutes walking. the staff is friendly and ready to assist as well to help you. it was clean with good service

Very clean hotel with pool not crowded and also available just for hotel guest, just 5 minutes from the city. good wi fi and nice breakfast. we will visit them again maybe September

Other than that the cleaning lady did our room daily and we were provided with extra towels within the day every time we asked for

We visited Hersonissos with friends back in June and we had the most pleasant stay! The hotel is located at a quiet spot near the market downtown. The beds were comfortable so we enjoyed a good night’s sleep!

The rooms and property exceeded my expectations. Well maintained and beautifully appointed. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The property is on the hillside giving gorgeous views

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

Always smiling and doing all they could to make our stay special. Perfect location away from the melee of the main resort, but walkable ( might want a cab back up the hill)

A lovely village only a few minutes stroll, provided a wealth of attractive tavernas and small shops

There is a swimming pool on the top floor, and the view is very nice. We choose half-board (buffet). Breakfast was always excellent

The quality of the finishings throughout the apartment and the pool area are first class. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets from our balcony / the pool

Although we also went to the shared pool and the spa pool, the place has privacy and a beautiful view and there were days we did not keft the resort but very much enjoyed just staying there

In the evening after a day of exploring the island the jacuzzi under the stars couldn't have had make us more happier!:) Veronique, who knows the island very well, was also super friendly and helpful, and we got many tips from her

The suites are lovely and spacious, but what makes this place special and outstanding is the staff. Everyone was sooooo welcoming and helpful. Veronique did everything possible to accommodate all our wishes

We had very relaxing 3 days in Orina suites. We booked the Felicity suite and it was everything we wanted and very clean. The detailed interior makes you feel luxurious, but also like home

The apartments themselves are modern, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, which was sufficient for preparing simple meals

We spent 9 days here on holiday and we had a wonderful time. The people are very hardworking, kind, and do everything they can to make your stay as relaxing as possible

The food and drinks at the bar, especially the Passion Bay cocktail, are delicious! The swimming pool is very nice and beautiful! The sunbeds are also super comfortable 🥰 The rooms are very clean, equipped with air conditioning, and have everything you need

Very nice swimming pool! The only problem was that the transfer leave us at 2 am down the hill 500 meters up the hill carrying our luggage , when they could perfectly takes to reception!! We were so mad! Get a private transfer they will take you to reception

the view from the balcony was great, the only problem would be the location as it’s up a very big hill so it’s not very accessible, but if you just want a relaxing pool holiday it’s perfect

Very hard to go up the hill carrying your luggage! Many restaurants with good food,shops and Orion rent a car 250 for 1 week it's just 10 minutes down the hill, the problem is going up the hill!Overall we had a wonderful holidays, many thanks to the owners of Driades! Expresso coffee in Crete 3 euros Small bottle of coke 250 ml 3 euros Orange juice 4 euros Big beer 4 euros Food goes from 6 to 20 euros...

Great facilities, slow pace, great weather and lots of fun for the kids: playgrounds, pools, different waterslides, soccer field, kids activities, free ice cream and slushes (as well as a gokartplace nextdoor)

As parents with picky kids, we really liked the lunch and dinner buffets, but we also visited the snack bars frequently. You could easily walk between your hotelroom, the different pools, the snack bars and the ocean

From the restaurants to the pool bars and the cleanliness of our rooms we couldn’t fault the hotel. We even celebrated a birthday which the hotel staff insisted on making a cake

The pools where not heated, but hey, where from Sweden, so we’ll bathe anyway… The ocean temperature was maybe two degrees warmer with a sandy beach

It’s the little touches that make a BIG difference. The only thing that I’d mention to anyone visiting is if you find stairs hard, make sure that you make that clear when booking, as there are no lifts to the rooms

Only negatives; most of the pool tables in the games area are missing a full set of balls

Can be tricky securing sunloungers by the pool areas and the nighttime entertainment can be a bit noisy if staying near the amphitheatre. The beach is clean and super accessible

The sea is very rocky underfoot here but we enjoyed that because it means there’s an abundance of fish to view in shallow water close to the shore. Excellent for newbie snorkellers and/ or kids

Food was ok and plenty of choice. Ordering drinks from the main bar in the evening was a task and we could be waiting up to 40 mins as only 2-3 staff making drinks

I was pleasantly surprised!! We all had a great time and will be back, We were a family of four, young children, and the room was cozy! I imagine with older children it would be cramped

Beautifully landscaped resort with excellent food options and friendly, attentive staff. Pleasant distance from the airport for transfers. Great for kids (they loved the water slide)

The room (we've got upgrate to Family Superior Sea view, duplex) was clean and fresh. 🤌 Staff was friendly and helpful 🧡 Plus, there are a few new bars and a new ropftop pool

However, we felt that the dining area could benefit from more seating and a wider selection of food options, especially during peak meal times when it tended to get a bit crowded

We stayed in Orion building this time (September 2025) and it was one of the best vacations ever 🤩 The food in the Main restaurant was as delicious as always

The quality of food at the Street food was better than in June 2025. 🍔 Drinks at White rabbit was as always 10/10, and at the King Scorpio seemingly better. 🍸 Maybe thanks to the end of season

Despite these issues, our overall experience was enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, and the staff were always friendly and helpful

Through my travel agency business I politely asked for upgraded rooms and we were not disappointed. We were given 3 rooms at the front of the pool, which were without a doubt the best rooms in the hotel

Before arrival, I requested that our rooms be next to each other, and the hotel delivered perfectly, all our rooms were together at the front of the pool

The hotel itself was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was beyond helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the service really stood out

I would 100% recommend this hotel to all of my clients through my travel business, especially for families looking for a fun, clean, and friendly resort. We can’t wait to come back!!

We had an evening flight home, and the hotel went above and beyond by allowing us to extend our room, and also providing a room for us to get changed after check out

Food and drinks were consistently fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of choice, and the cocktails were excellent. Everything felt well organised and family-friendly

This resort is so beautiful! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was truly magical! The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing! We are already planning on coming back for many years to come!

My only critics of Village Heights were: 1. What is/is not included in half board is not well explained at time of booking - I only found out this information on day 2. The power cut out multiple times daily

The bar staff were incredible and really made the evenings memorable the food an entertainment was brilliant. Loved the a la carte options and the view from the upstairs restaurant was amazing at sunset

There were numerous activites at the resort and a convenient bus to the beach area. Beach Comber at Stallis beach was beautiful, relatively quiet, served excellent cocktails and amazing food

Only for a few seconds, so it never caused an issue, but it was slightly worrying. The sign at the cats feeding station states they are neutered, but they are not; kittens ahoy!

Great place, quiet area, with lots of things to do in the resort and around, they offer many activities, wellness classes, and variety of restaurants

Room Room 362 was half way up the hill overlooking the sea and also the main pool/childrens pool, there was loud music all day so no chance of a siesta and the towels were out very early

Pools No lifeguard at pools (apart from 2 in the waterpark) although all signs at the pools mention a life guard! No enforcement of towels on sun beds, no chance of a bed at all unless you got up very early, no spare beds that could be used when it gets busy

Lazy river doesn’t have any flow to it so you are pretty much motionless. Stayed round the main pool once but we found this too loud for us. Spent most of our time at the relax pool at the top of the hill

Plenty of choice and warm at all times. Pool areas: Obvious selling point of this hotel is the water park. Me and my son spent several hours on the slides

Animation team were good but to be totally honest the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. Nothing a few extra beers didn't alleviate. Rooms are basic but who goes on holiday to sit in their room

Spent two weeks here in August and it was brilliant. The kids spent most of their time messing about in the aquapark looked after by a great life guard

Everything was great. The food was delicious, there were varieties for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polite staff did their best.

The main pool is spacious, ranging from shallow to deep (0. 00 m) and about 15 meters long, which makes it perfect for both relaxing and swimming. In the past we also stayed at Abaton, which is part of the same group

The two pools are lovely, and the game room is a fun addition (with only a small fee per play), while table tennis is free

The views are absolutely breathtaking – we chose a sea-view room, and the upgrade was more than worth it. On top of that, we were pleasantly surprised with a fruit platter, excellent wine, and bottled water in the room

Great hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the personnel is very kind from the receptionist to the cleaning staff, bartenders everybody! I see a lot of complaints that is on a hill, well yes but the view is absolutely amazing and the walk to the beach is short and not so challenging

Our stay at Hersonissos Village & Bungalow was truly wonderful. The food was excellent and plentiful – from a rich breakfast to delicious lunch and dinner

The rooms could benefit from a few small updates, such as replacing the older flooring and refreshing the bottom of the pool where the paint has faded, but this didn’t affect our stay Overall, everything was perfect, and we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Crete

But for some reason, this hotel charges a 10-euro deposit when you give out towels, which you get back when you return them. Bottled drinking water is only provided upon check-in; they don't refresh it after that

Towels are changed every other day

They took care of everything – from upgrading our rooms, recommending excellent restaurants, and assisting us with every request we had. Their warmth, kindness, and personal attention truly made us feel at home

We stayed at Kalloa Hotel for a family vacation, and it was simply perfect! The service was outstanding – evry body always friendly, professional, and with a smile

We dined in the Meat at the Point restaurant, and enjoyed the quinnoa rocket salad, steak, and mushroom risotto. We truly enjoyed the private pool, ocean view, and room service options

The food was excellent both breakfast and the restaurants, plenty of options for sunbathing either with your own private pool, 3 other pools or free cabanas on the beach

This hotel provides the highest level of attention to detail and service. One of our favorite stops in Greece. We stayed in the bed and breakfast special, and paid for our dinners which were reasonably priced

this place is 10 out of 10. the rooms are stunning with every amenity. the pool is small nut crystal clear and just big enough to swim around. it's very close to the beach but very quiet woth only 8 suites

The pool is sparkling clean, as are the rooms (big thank you to Ana as well, who made such nice touches for our baby). We have never felt such warmth and hospitality. Thank you for giving us a wonderful stay in Crete!

We had a lovely stay @ Elysian Suites, our appartment was beautiful and very clean! There is a nice swimming pool, enough parking space and is close to the beach

We stayed in Elysian Suites and everything went as expected, a super hotel with a mega good service, everything was top.The suites were AMAZING. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it is also very well located.

Amazing family run hotel. Very high standards and clean! Also, the two brothers (owners) went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday - even taking me on two bike rides around the island. Thank you!
