Hotel is in the heart of Chania tourist area. Small room but it had a small bed higher up, accessible by a small ladder. Finding the place was tricky as few Ink's in the area. Confusing part was getting the key, which you get from an alternate Ink location. This was not notified in the reservation detail and I only found out because one of the guests told me. Recommended Very impressed - for the price compared to comparable properties, the room was impressive and relatively large. Checkin process was simple and staff pleasant, allowed us to store our bags in their office on day of checkout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Perfect location to wander around the old town and also along the new harbour to the bars. The room was perfect for a 1 night stay. Good shower, kettle and fridge. 2 small complimentary bottles of water too.

It did not have as advertised; sea view, breakfast or parking available. It took 1 1/2 hours to check in, room was not ready by 3pm and directions to site were inadequate. There is no onsite help for anything.

Super friendly at reception. Super clean and as good as new. Good washing and shower facilities. Air conditioning works very well. There could be a set of cutlery and a plate and a large bottle of water instead of two mini bottles. Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel is right on the waterfront, a 20-minute walk from Rethymno. We booked half board and had a delicious five-course dinner (drinks are an extra charge, but inexpensive). The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition, and it offers excellent value for money.

Staying at the hotel for the second time we realized that is still a great hotel with some ups and downs. Ups: Service, location, pool, spacious room with kitchen and very friendly staff. Downs: The spa treatment are too expensive ( double the price of a regular treatment), coffee at breakfast is a disappointment and the beds are rather soft. Still worth going there but be aware of the downs.

We had a pleasant stay here. The location is excellent — just far enough from the noisy seafront to be peaceful, yet only a short walk to the beach and the old town. They also have a beach area. Visited the spa twice on my holiday. Totally relaxed experience, hubby even enjoyed the peace and quiet. The newSpa facilities are wonderful. Will go again. Evdokia explained everything well. Great location to access the beach, lots of shopping, and lots of dining and drinking establishments. Very walkable. Lucked out and got street parking a couple blocks away the first day, but had to do pay parking at the marina the second day. The property is beautiful, loved the large windows that opened to the courtyard, beautiful courtyard and spiral staircase. However, the bathroom smelled like rotten eggs, sewage issues?? The breakfast was good , loved the honey comb display but food was often cold.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Rimondi Boutique Hotel and it was as perfect as the first time. Beautiful location and ease of access. Unfortunately parking is hard if you organise a hire car. Amenities are beautiful and the welcome gifts and morning breakfast were great. Just off the main markets and plenty of fine dining options literally steps from the hotel.

Miscommunication about the parking was a bit of a problem but got sorted out eventually. The manager and staff’s hospitality made up for any inconvenience.

Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing. Beautiful hotel in a great location. The old town just a short stroll away in one direction and the beach and promenade in the other direction. We stayed here for a fortnight between August 1st and 15th 2025. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, very decent rooms (beds are made daily except Sundays as are fresh towels). Drinks at the nice terrace (very nice sea view) are almost silly cheap. Less than half and hour walking distance to town and plenty of options to eat out and do your groceries close by. The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. Vacationing with the family 4 persons in July-August 2014. We knew where we were going, so we are almost all satisfied at this place. Crete - this is not the place to go lie on the beach. This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!
