Fantastic location, spacious and has everything you need for your trip.
Comfortable with lots of space - location is ideal for tourists
Room was very clean - information provided for check in and out was clear and helpful - location is great location - right in the city centre
Excellent location with the rainbow road right outside, lots of bars and resturants on your door step excellent communication from vladimir when i had to ask questions regarding propery and parking. The apartment was just the right size for 3 of us beds were very comfortable and rooms were lovely and warm we had a great stay
The location of this accommodation was fantastic - so central and close to everywhere, right at the heart of Reykjavík, close to the old harbour and many shops including supermarkets close by. Getting in to the apartment was a little unclear. We were sent the codes in advance but the code for the key box was very small and instead the code for the front door was the one we were trying - the code for...
We were nine women traveling together, and the apartment was spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of space and all necessary kitchen equipment was available. It’s located right in the city center, within walking distance to most places. Unfortunately, there was some dampness in the rooms. The staircase up to the apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell, so we had to hurry...

Perfect place to spend a night or two as good location and comes with kitchen and laundry facilities. However check in can be a nightmare if your booking platform does not update you with check in instructions
The location was fantastic. Check in was easy. Staff seemed to come in regularly and take out the trash and tiddy up the bathrooms. The couch for the third person to sleep on was awful. There was a lot of mold in the shower and the drain didn’t work well. You had to continually shut the water off during your shower so it didn’t flood the bathroom. Staff was notified and they were able to have maintenance...
The room trash was not emptied and there was no indication where you could take it yourself. The humidity was quite high. The traffic noise was reasonably loud.
Great central location and value. You will share a bathroom so make sure you are ok with that. Having a kitchen available was great. Staff was helpful when I needed to speak to them.
Bathroom/Toilet is not as clean as expected
The rooms are clean for a budget hotel but the walls are paper thin. I can hear everytime someone takes a poop and when he goes to the shower or uses the tap. There is only 1 bathroom at every floor with the sink, toilet and shower in the same room so it cannot be used concurrently. This means we have to wait >30mins for each person to poop, then shower etc. You can only imagine what it is like on...

Place is clean and safe.10 minute Drive to Reykhavik. The property management is very responsive which i love easy to communicate.10/10
The view from the room was spectacular. We had a car and access to Reykjavík and out of town for sightseeing was very easy.
We had a room on floor 1. It was comfortable. The bed and shower/bathroom were good. It was clean. But note that this is budget accommodation with a worn headboard, old kitchen units, a bust window opener, a loose tap and a poorly secured fridge. Doubt much maintenance is done hence the cheaper price. It was in an unbeatable location, though, easy to park and just 15 minutes into downtown Reykjavik...
As 4 travelers, it was great to have a place we could all have our own beds without getting more than one room. Grocery right across the street, 1 block off the main bus line, a nice restaurant a couple doors down. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was ok. The bathroom was a bit of a mess—the shower didn’t drain properly and didn’t have a proper door. Dirty water pooled everywhere whenever we took a shower. The water all smelled sulfur-y and had a strong sulfur taste, so we ended up buying a bunch of bottled water from the grocery store. We were only there 2 nights but ran out of basics in the shower like soap.
That being said, it’s...
Contact free flat. Clear instructions given on how to enter the property. Nice not to have to worry about taking a key out when exploring.
The hot water was out in the whole area and we were informed of this. However, when we were able, the shower was amazingly powerful.
Nice little kitchen area in the room and a utility area with washer dryer outside the room, which we didn't use.
Great location for...

The breakfast food was AMAZING--especially the bread. Everything was very clean and comfortable bed. A shared bathroom among 3 rooms was a little difficult, but that makes the price more affordable.
Service provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. It was very warm and g ch comfortable room. We had a breakfast which was variously and tasty. The location was perfect and right in the centre next to the church.
I was so happy with my stay! We had an issue with some people near our room, but a staff member helped us immediately and even moved us to the best room in the house. We were so grateful for their kind and understanding attitude. I could truly feel their support and willingness to help. The room was clean with no problems at all, and the breakfasts were great! Thank you for your excellent service

Loved being here. Very thoughtfully designed studio style apartment with helpful touches fit cleverly into a small space like quality kitchen tools, a closet, a tea kettle, soap for the laundry room downstairs. Even fruit, tea and milk were provided. There is some noise at night as this part of town is popular for partying but we didn’t find it bothersome. Great location with a bonus grocery across...
Nice home in a centralized location for bus stops and restaurants. Close to most city sightseeing hot spots. Clean with all the amenities you need including a stove top, microwave, kettle, hair dryer, coffeemaker, cookware, and utensils.
46Heima is a fabulous place to stay in Reykjavik. For us it felt like home away from home. For the same price as a nice hotel room you get a place that feels all you own. The location was great with tons of shops and restaurants a short distance away. Having your own mini kitchen and fridge really helps too allowing you to take home leftovers or buy something from the grocery store to cook one night...
Wonderful apartment, very comfortable and cozy, plenty of space for 2 people. The location is excellent with many shops and restaurants just steps away. We took a food tour that met at the concert hall which was about a 15 minute walk. The famous church is maybe a 5 minute walk. If you stay here you will utilize bus stop 9 for all of your tour pick ups/drop offs. It is 3 long blocks, about 5 minutes...

personally i love this apartment style instead of hotel. more private n self served. the view is stunning. location is convenient. staff is helpful. to me I love it.
This is not your traditional hotel as it sits on the 9th floor (top) of an office building. To check-in, you receive emailed instructions and once on the top floor, you're met by hotel staff. It's hard to pay attention to what they're saying because the views are spectacular. I had room #6-corner suite and it did not disappoint, with breathtaking floor to ceiling views on 2 walls. Suite is huge and...
Wonderful place to stay! We were able to check in earlier which was great since our flight landed very early in the morning. The views were spectacular and the room was very clean and quiet space. We enjoyed our breakfast in bed too it was delicious pastries and Skyr! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again during our next Iceland trip!
We stayed at Tower Suites Reykjavik for five nights and had a wonderful experience. We were on the 20th floor and the view over the city was absolutely stunning. The room was very spacious, with a walk-in closet and a large bathroom including a bathtub. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy the city lights — and even the Northern Lights — while taking a bath.
The location is very convenient...
I think you should make it clear that it’s not a hotel but more like rooms on a top floor of an office building just to set expectations up front
Beautiful corner suite with unrivaled views of Reykjavik! Perfect location and friendly, attentive staff, especially Kelly who anticipated our every need.

Very cosy and comfy place in Reykjavik. We stayed here for 2 nights. Self check-in was very easy. The kitchen is well equipped and rooms is very comfy. The location is close to the city Center so you can go walking to all the places like the church, rainbow street. The place is very quiet as well.
Decent guesthouse at convenient location (10 mins walk from city center).
Overall the whole building is very well maintained and clean. The kitchen is quite small for the amount of people that can stay here, but otherwise very well equipped.
There are plenty of showers and toilets, all in great shape!
Our room was super small, no place whatsoever to put our bags. Very inconvenient if you stay longer...
Staying at REFURINN Guesthouse was a wonderful experience. Owner Jay was very helpful. Property was very clean. Great locations to shopping and dining.
Great location and great staff

Even though the room was small, it was cozy and comfortable. The showroom was a bit old, but other than that, a very good value for money and the breakfast was amazing!!
Thank you very much. We’d love to stay again.
Excellent pancakes! Incredibly delicious breakfast.
This place made our trip to Iceland perfect. The host is a gentle and introverted man, but you can feel his passion for hospitality in the way he welcomes you. He truly did his best to make us feel at home. The breakfast was a highlight, particularly the pancakes which were amazing. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Lovely place full of an old fashioned Icelandic charm. The one thing I have against it is the red ants. They were in the room and breakfast area. They bite too!
Wonderful, helpful, delicious breakfast-comfortable bed- very happy and would stay there again—I lost my key to my suitcase and the host got tools to help me break my lock! Such relief!

Stayed at this guesthouse twice. Saw small stains on the bedding both times, maybe time for them to get some new sheets. The room had a bad smell when entering but was okay after airing out. Bathrooms were okay but they only have one on each floor which definitely isn’t enough at peak times. Luggage storage is not secure (just a room behind the kitchen which anyone can wonder into) poor service when...
The environment is nice, close to the cathedral and the station, and the service is acceptable.
The small room is simple, but has everything you need. I was especially happy about the large desk. The breakfast was surprisingly good, given that food is quite expensive in Island (only the coffee could be better). The location is great and really close to the heart of the city, but still relatively quiet.
A nightmare to arrive at this property, we did not receive an email indicating where to collect the keys and where our room is located, the property is made up of several scattered houses, breakfast is not sufficient
I highly recommend this place. It was a bit hard to find at first. I carried my suitcase and searched for the front desk for a long time. BEWARE! No parking at the entrance. I got a fine while parking my car over there.
Such a cozy spot! Very clean, comfy beds. Host was very quick to respond to email. Loved the shared living space, fast wifi. Kitchen had everything we needed and more! A short walk down town, would definitely recommend.
Very cosy place. They have warm rooms all the time. Big comfort kitchen and a lobby with a lovely cat. The location is perfect for short walks to the center. They have always warm coffee for the guests. The rooms are clean and the shared bathroom is clean with warm water all the time. I would definitely recommend it and i will come back to this next time.
Located just a short walk from the Cathedral, the Baldursbra guesthouse is ideal for the budget traveller, the rooms a quite big, and the room we had a small sink and mirror for brushing you teeth before bed or doing makeup. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were spotless, I couldn't have asked for more.

Very cosy place, a bit small, so I would only recommend it if you're planning to only sleep there.
Got a nice gift when I entered my room.
The location is a bit hidden in between buildings, but you will get a mail with good directions before you are able to check in.
Very friendly owner, and she will contact you if needed.
Basically wouldn't expect more for this generous price
The hotel had poor soundproofing and no front desk, so those who don't speak English well should probably think twice before choosing it. The owner was very nice and let me check in early. It's very close to the church. After taking the airport bus to the last stop, it's about a kilometer away. I took a taxi, which cost 90 RMB.
Our room was 102. King bed. Very clean. Shared bathroom, but not a problem.
The location is the big plus for this property, however, if you want quiet between 8pm - 11pm, this is not ideal without ear plugs due to live music at the local bars.
The property details do not specifically say it's a shared bathroom/shower so that was a surprise. The property also provided the door code to the wrong door so I was glad I had a working phone and they answered promptly to provide...
Very cute and cozy house in the city centre of Reykjavik. The kitchen is very basic but it had all we needed. Room was spacious and clean. The house is very quiet but you can hear noise from the other rooms on the same floor. There is only one toilet though, so it’s easy to find it occupied in the morning. Very kind host, quick to reply.
Good location, very clean and convenient check-in. The room is small, and since it's an attic, the roof is slanted, so it's easy to hit your head if you're not careful. There is a small open space outside the window with a nice view.

The apartment is well situated, with a nice view of the Pond. It has lots of litght, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is good and the bed comfortable. The ability to leave luggage on-site prior to arrival or at departure was quite appreciated.

Wish they had some signage so we would have known we were standing across the street when we asked a stranger if they knew where the place was. The shower was tiny and water flooded the floor no matter what we did to keep it from happening. Great location.
Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out.

More like a backpackers hostel than a guest house. Clean but very basic - especially considering the price. Tiny bathroom (no problem for us - but a larger person would not squeeze through the shower door). There is a shared kitchen with a coffee machine which is a plus. The guesthouse has no control over the music coming from the street (teenagers playing loud music across the street until very late at night) or the bar downstairs, nor can they do anything about the noise of the pipes. While a bit cozy and squeaky in places, this was an affordable space for my family in the heart of Reykjavik - close to everything we wanted to see.
The location is okay, there are several good restaurants nearby, but the overall environment is poor, maybe because the building is old. The heating was not very good and the room was very cold. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your suitcase upstairs. All in all I don't think it's worth it compared to the price of ninety pounds a night.

It is just near cafe Loki and Hallgrimskirkja church which is visible from anywhere in the downtown, so need to worry about getting lost. What more can you ask for, in the middle of everything. Rainbowstreet, sunvoyager, Harpa center and mostly all the bus stops where the local tours starts...

The hosts and cleaning staff are super friendly and this was the PERFECT base to explore the city. It has the best location and a very well equipped kitchen. Loki 101 Guesthouse was the perfect place for my stay in Reykjavik. Its location in the city is fantastic, the room was clean and comfy, and if I had any questions the staff was extremely quick to answer. I will certainly be staying here again on my next visit!
A good value hotel, all is good.
