A really clean, warm and quiet room with a large TV, fridge, safe, a kettle & decent quality tea & coffee. The bathroom is fine, and the shower flow rate is good. Breakfast is amazing and worth it 👏 & happy hour is also worth taking advantage of. The location is on the outskirts of the very busiest part of downtown Reykjavik, but still central and a stones throw from the ocean walkway. Down points...
Great hotel, the staff super friendly and service is amazing. Just a little nitpick is the placement of the TV position is a little odd. But the room is super spacious and with a little balcony that faces the seaside which makes winter night viewing in Iceland just on another level entierly.
The accommodation seemed old, but it was in good condition. The only downside was that the bathroom didn't drain properly. It's fine for a short overnight stay.
The shower was so tiny; the shower head is not adjustable so my hair got wet every time I got in the shower, the shower curtain clung to my body, and the water got all over the bathroom floor. The blow dryer worked for 60 seconds and then needed to charge for a full minute before using it again. The two single beds pushed together were not comfortable - I could feel the springs; however the pillows...
Near the beach. Caught northern lights just outside hotel opposite the road. Freezing cold, windy but worth all the effort when northern lights appears .
I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was my second time here, which really says it all. Once again, everything was excellent from start to finish. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is ideal, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Having stayed here before, I knew what to expect...

The rooms are modest, the bathroom is nice and clean and has a modern rainfall shower. The receptionists are really friendly and helpful! We were a bit early for check in but they helped us register and let us park the car in the hotels parking lot.
4* in location because it's easier to drive to downtown than walk, less than 10 minutes.... parking close to the church is cheap enough. Lovely staff, the room is excellent, enough space for three of us. We enjoy the breakfast, good variety but it's the same thing everyday, but that's no problem for us.
Nice clean, modern hotel about 20 minutes walk from the attractions of Reykjavik. There are some nice restaurants close by especially Olifa pizza restaurant, there's a Netto supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Decent breakfast and nice friendly staff. A special mention to receptionist Elana who went out of her way to help us when we missed our excursion transfer, managing to get us on a later...
Seems like a new hotel. Reception on first floor (one floor up from street entry). 24 hr reception, friendly staff (advise them on check in if you want daily room service. 7 floors of accommodation. Rooms smallish but warm, beds comfy. Breakfast was wonderful, if you go when it opens at 7am pastries are still warm. Small selection of books to read and games to play. It is a couple of km to town...
Customer service and support is excellent, especially the booking and assistance of Flybus departures.
This was a lovely hotel to stay in. From the management to the kitchen staff- all lovely people, very warm and welcoming. The room we stayed in was bright, spacious (for 2), and very clean. There was a large wardrobe, tea/coffee making station, a flatscreen TV and a good sized bathroom with walk in shower. The double bed was very comfortable (compared to some hotels!!). There was no noise concerns...

The room size was decent, though the facilities were a bit dated. The service was excellent, and the location was convenient.
Had a perfect one-night stay at *Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel* in Reykjavik! 🏨 Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully done. The vibe, service, and location were all spot on. Highly recommend! 🌟
Helpful staff and convenient location to restaurants and supermarkets.
The breakfast was great, and the location was excellent – just a 10-minute walk to the main attractions. The hotel was spotless, and the service was excellent!
The hotel is in a great location, about five minutes' walk to the beach. It's super cool to run along the coast. You can see the sea from the double room window! It's very convenient to walk to anywhere! The room design is Balinese style, the toiletries are very useful, the fish salad fried chicken for dinner is delicious, it's the first time to have sweet and sour fish, and I'm super satisfied when...

Staff was friendly. i paid for the breakfast - got a bag of food including a drink, a bread, an apple, a small box of granola and jam, and a yogurt and a free access to coffee machine - nothing fancy but good enough to feel full and energised. i was pleased to be able to choose the room type (upper beds or lower beds). i particularly enjoyed using the kitchen and the common area as the design was...
Staff were friendly and location is just right in the middle of the city centre. However, there is only one microwave, one kettle and one fridge shared among all people so there might be some waiting time when making food. There is also no stove for cooking, so you can only microwave stuff to eat.
Great value for money! The room has a nice ambiance with adjustable lighting, and the bathroom is spacious enough. Plus, the front desk is open 24/7, and the location is super convenient.
The location of the hotel is very good, and there are hot springs. The public area is clean and cosy.

It takes 5 minutes to walk to the hotel after getting off from the stop assigned by the Flybus plus services. Yet, the hotel is close to the city centre with lots of shops & restaurants nearby. The cleanliness and the breakfast is very general.
The hotel staff were all realy friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, 5 min walk from the main bus stops and right on the high street. Rooms were realy big with a little kitchenette too which we weren't expecting. This hotel is in the best location- very close to rainbow street, bus stops, grocery store, second hand store, and much more! Even being in the middle of everything it is quiet and homey feeling. Extremely cozy, charming, and well thought out.
Hotel was on a very central location. Room was very clean. We were provided with all kinds of amenities. The morning breakfast had so much variety. Supermarkets and other shops were on the same street. Staff was also very helpful

Seldom to leave a comment, but my stay was Superb at the Storm hotel! Firstly - The hotel is located right next to the major bus stop #12 where many tours pick up/drop off there, it’s such a convenient location. Secondly - Very clean, warm and spacious hotel room, with very helpful staff members. In fact, I left my item at the hotel after checking out and only realized it after a few days. I reached...
Stayed for 4 days this month. The rooms are spotless and beds so comfortable. Hotel staff are amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was to much trouble, and help us out with the best trip deals. Location is perfect with the 12 bus stop right outside the hotel. Less than a minute walk to the harbour and the high street. Highly recommend this hotel
Storm Hotel by Keahotels – 4/5 Stars A good and comfortable hotel that could easily be a 5-star stay with just a small improvement—adding a fridge in the room would make a big difference. The staff were very nice and helpful, and a big positive surprise was the breakfast, which was really good and better than expected. One small...
Decent but basic hotel. Okay location about 15/20 walk from everything you want. Rooms are basic but clean. No fridge in room or safe. Staff are nice, cleaning staff are great. Not enough room at breakfast for the amount of guests which was a struggle most mornings to find a table. Breakfast is okay just basic continental. Like a premier inn, just a basic hotel.
We really loved our stay at Hotel Storm in Reykjavik. The front desk staff was exceptional with great advice about where to go eat and things to do. They even told my 8-year-old all about the Christmas elves and Icelandic lore! They were so friendly and kind. I found the room to be reasonable, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was fab. We left for each day well fed and ready for the day. The hotel...

Superb hotel! Very stylish, clean and comfortable place to stay. The location is spot on for exploring the city and close to bus stop 6 (if you're booking tours). An absolutely amazing hotel. We loved everything about it. The rooms were well stocked. Coffee machines. Bathrooms clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a fridge and safe. Great location from all the Reykjavík sites. Breakfast was amazing.
This hotel is in a wonderful location and within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, and shops. The breakfast is very diverse and offers a multitude of options for whatever you may desire. A hotel experience that exceeded expectations. Located near bus stop #3, it's close to most of the recommended fine dining restaurants. Exceptional Hospitality and a Dreamy Honeymoon Stay Our stay at the Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel was undoubtedly the highlight of our honeymoon. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the hotel's sophisticated and timeless charm. What truly set this stay apart was the extraordinary hospitality, including a complimentary room upgrade that made our stay incredibly comfortable...
This was a great hotel. The staff here are excellent and treat their guests as excellent as well. The rooms are big. There is no parking but you can street park or park in one of the many close parking garages (we had a large Toyota Land Cruiser that fit fine in the garage). The location is excellent, super central, you can literally walk to most of the places of interest, if you’re able. The only...
The front desk staff were rude. Someone knocked on our door in the early morning, and when we called the front desk, they said it was probably a drunk guest who had knocked on the wrong door and might be hiding in the stairwell. Their evasive answers only increased our anxiety. On our first night, we left our wet bathrobes on the floor in the basement bathtub. The next day, when they cleaned, the staff...

Love this!!!! It’s awesome, the guys there are kind and passionate.
We had two different kinds of rooms here. 1 two bedroom apt (at the top of the rainbow road) and 1 double bedroom onsite in the hotel. The hotel room was very cramped but fine for just sleeping. The 2 bedroom apt was huge and in a great location BUT it was super noisy on Saturday night (late) when people were going out/home. If that's not an issue for you, highly recommend. If it is, ask for a room...
Great location! Only a block or so away from rainbow road and about a 5-10 min walk from the church or bus stop 8. Walk to BSI bus terminal is a little bit further (10-15 minutes), but not bad. The rooms have so many outlets which was greatly appreciated. Very friendly staff and breakfast was good.
Very accessible and centrally located. Near restaurants, places of interest. I will recommend.
Location was great, it was walking distance to most places. There was a really nice bar just opposite. Service staff were helpful and pleasant. The room I stayed in was quite small. I did not quite like the layout of the room. The TV was in an odd location too. The lighting in the room could be improved. Hotel Ódinsvé is ideally located in the city center, within easy walking distance of major attractions such as the cathedral, making it very convenient for tourists. This is a self-service hotel, so there's no front desk. However, the facilities are brand new, and the room isn't small. It even has its own parking garage, which makes for a very comfortable stay. The location isn't in the city center, but it's not far either – about a seven or eight-minute drive. Getting around is super convenient, as there's a bus stop right downstairs. Definitely recommended.
This is a self-check-in hotel. The breakfast is simple but filling, and the environment is quite nice. There's a parking lot, but you need a code to enter.
The breakfast was very impressive!
The room was clean and cozy, and there's a supermarket conveniently located near the hotel. The indoor parking was a huge plus, making parking very easy. The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel staff were very friendly.
Location a slightly away from city centre however it’s convenient with car. Car park is available at basement with limited space. Breakfast was ok overall. The waffle and jam is delicious. Self check in but we didn’t encounter any issue during our late check in around 10pm.

Reykjavik, Austurstraeti 16 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A classically modern hotel. The rooms do feel a little tight but enough to move around. The staff is very accommodating and easy to work with. Hotel itself is on a strange one way that Google Maps has a hard time directing to. Visited here in mid February so it was quiet and lots nearby to walk to. There are a lot of nearby bars and restaurants so I could see this being a popular spot.
Staff was wonderful. Helped us book fly us to airport and held our bags for us. Room was amazing! I would def stay here again if I return to Iceland. Close to everything downtown and the restaurant was so good. We had dinner and breakfast there!
The Apotek Restaurant has a great breakfast menu. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff Service is excellent.
The staff was attentive and the hotel was clean as was the room and bathroom. It is at a great location within walking distance from bus stops and shopping and some of the important sightseeing locations. The breakfast spread is really good and the hotel’s restaurant food is simply amazing. The reason I can’t give a 5 because the room itself was small though, we had a double twin-bed room, there...
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. It's well located close to bus stop 2 for drop off from the bus terminal, but also very walkable as well. It's also centrally located to the main shopping area with plenty of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this Apotek hotel and would stay here for future visits.

The front staff were friendly and always available. The room and all bedding were clean. The bathrooms were of a public restroom style and the showers were in a locker room style. The kitchen area was a bit cramped for countertop space with no place to store non-refrigerated foods. The refrigerator was packed full and was hard to find room for my items. The location and price were great.
A good hostel/hotel. The students stayed in dorms which served the purpose and were clean with shared showers. Staff had comfortable rooms on the same floor or better rooms in the hotel above. Was a little crowded at one point as they had three big groups in, but they managed the breakfast sittings well. Good food in the packed lunches and for dinner was very good.
Very clean, pleasant accommodations. Staff was friendly, and helpful if you needed any sort of assistance. Great place to stay, walking distance to most shops and bars with one inside of the Hostel itself. I would definitely stay there again, but would probably inquire into getting a private room.
The location is really great - walking distance to the city center, but also one of the main stops for any tours/excursions that include ground transportation. Beds were clean and comfy though the photos online make the (hostel) rooms look a bit more luxury than they actually are. The bathrooms (specifically the showers) were not great - tiny shower stalls with vinyl curtains that you have to try not...
The lobby, bar, bistro and lounge areas are wonderful. But the rooms, kitchens, bathrooms are yucky. At least four outlets in the 12 bed room didn't work. At least two of the bed lamps didn't work. The kitchen was a dirty disaster from people being pigs and not cleaning up properly. There were fabric seat cushions in the kitchen that we're practically black with stains and grime. The beds are comfortable but 1. I had a hard time finding my room 2. I could hear that my neighbours were doing some stuff through the door in my room 3. Breakfast didn't have much variety. This is a fancy hotel but my stay could have been better
Great stay at the hotel. Booked a room including breakfast. The breakfast had lots of variety and choices and fresh produce, some of it local. The hotel staff was friendly and available for all request and questions. The rooms were good and spacious, a little bit noisy because of the door between the two hotel rooms. Located perfectly in the city nothing is ever further than a 20 minute walk anyway
The hotel was perfectly placed for what we wanted to do, the restaurant downstairs was exceptionally good, great food and friendly service. You could tell the room hadn’t seen any renovations in a long time, and there were what appeared to be dried bogeys on the side of our bed. Also, we had a double bed but with two single duvets - not sure if this is normal in Iceland but was certainly strange.
The rooms have good view of their snow-capped mountains. For now it takes longer though to move from the rooms to the ground floor since the hotel is presently undergoing renovation. Their Grilled restaurant on the top floor has 180 degrees view of the city. It serves good food & wine.
The refurbished rooms are nice and comfy with good beds. The old rooms not so good. Once the hotel is finished refurbishment it will be great. Only about 10min walk from town.

The hotel sits on a street corner, with easy access to the city centre and a nice view of the harbour. Clean and warm, with enjoyable breakfast. The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available. I would definitely go back in the future.
Hotel is in a great location (close to bus stop 5 which you'll get why knowing bus stop numbers is ideal as this is where you wait for yours to pick up or bus to the airport). Breakfast is good and close to harbour means nice views. Just come with an idea of spending more than you think as that is how Iceland is! Blue Lagoon is a must...!
The room facilities are complete and the space is quite large. It's very close to the pier, making it a great choice if you're planning a whale-watching trip. The hotel's hygiene is good, and it's super close to Boss Zhu's restaurant, highly recommended!
The location is excellent, within walking distance to the city's popular attractions, restaurants, cafes, etc. The room is relatively small, but comfortable. The bathroom is relatively small, especially the wash basin. The so-called buffet breakfast is not bad, but there is not much choice of food. The hotel service and staff are very friendly and helpful.

I think the hotel is a bit old with no dry and wet separation, but good location and nice staff there.
Well located and only a short walk to the city centre-old town. Bathrooms/shower is too small for use. Beds are comfortable. limited services offered at the accomodation.
The hotel is within walking distance of the pedestrian street. There are parking spaces next to the hotel. It's a typical three-star hotel.
The hotel has a great location, close to the surrounding area, including supermarkets, and there's a shuttle bus nearby.
In Iceland, where hotel prices are extremely high, this is a decent place to stay. The location is good, the room is small but clean, and the heating is sufficient. However, the hotel door closes after 11 pm and is opened after guests ring a bell, but the front desk staff were asleep, which wasn't good for making guests wait outside in the cold for a long time.

Great location, close to lots of restaurants and most of the main tourist sights - but on a reasonably quiet road so you feel out of the city centre. Very good service and helpful staff. Great choice of food for breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend!
Great location, within walking distance to the church, and they have their own free parking. The room was small, the bedding wasn't very clean, and there were no power outlets by the bed, only USB ports, which was inconvenient.
This is an old school hotel full of charm. We had junior suite. The room was a bit old but really beautiful. The rooms have physical keys rather than cards to show how old. The location is close to most of the good sights. Lastly our 4th floor room had a great view of the city.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik. Walkable to everything. The hotel was immaculate, the room was great and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was awesome! Good hotel, quite centrally located, with ample parking right on site. I really enjoyed the breakfast, but the seating there was a bit awkward – you sit too low and it's too soft.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Muli. Patricia, who checked us in on 1st January, was very kind and helpful. After arriving on an early-morning flight, it was really nice to be greeted with a smile. Even better, our room was ready, so we were able to check in early. The room itself was clean and comfortable. No cleaning services or bed sheet changing ( we stayed 2 nights ), the receptionist told us it's the policy and if we would like it changed we should go get the bed sheet/towels they provided by ourselves which was not mentioned when checked-in or when we booked. My only point here would be that the rooms might need a bit of refreshing (like a new paint for the walls for example). However, wonderful overall stay and delicious breakfast. Would definitely come...
As you enter the hotel you can obviously see that they are seeking for money. No kettle or spresso machine in the room (you have to pay around 20€ daily if you want them) , no water in the fridge at all , a list of the prices of all the products in the room ( such as blankets and condoms and some toothbrushes and etc.) hidden in the cabinet! Each hour of late checkout costs 50€ . The room is nice...
Great location and helpful staff but the rooms have not been slept in by anyone running this hotel - and therefore aren’t well designed. No light switches or sockets by the bed (in fact only one set of sockets under the desk and the window on the floor so you have to properly get down on hands and knees!) other than that the toilet doesn’t have a proper door and the shower is just behind a glass panel...
The room, the staff (especially Abraham) , everything was perfect.
We found our room to be typical of most European hotels. Minimalist, no storage, and no door on the bathroom. That means when you turn on the light to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it lights up the entire room. Tha room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Convenient location to most places. Clean and friendly staff. Supermarket next door, very convenient. Airport bus stop 9 is closest.
The location is super convenient, and the room facilities are very clean and hygienic.
The location is very convenient, with a Little Pig supermarket downstairs. The reception staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there was a view of the landmark church from the window. Storage space was a bit limited, especially in winter when I had a bunch of coats and gloves.
The room is a good size, very clean, warm comforter, nice TV, clean bathroom. But! Poor lighting, no in-house telephone, no instructions for remote.  But,  the receptionist young man is full of information, very well spoken, and took care of my needs.  The breakfast, an avocado toast, and coffee were excellent. So good! I would recommend the hotel as its location is super.
Great location and near the rainbow street . Next to Bonus mart . Ideal for short trips.
The location is convenient. There is a Xiaozhu supermarket downstairs. It is close to bus stop No. 9, which is convenient for local tour groups to gather and pick up. The room is clean. The counter staff provides early check-in service, but the room lighting is a little dim.
