The mattress and the pillow are too soft. The bathroom water went slow. Location is good.
Lovely hotel, modern and clean. Staff welcoming. We ate in the hotel on our last evening and had a lovely meal. Ideal location close to bus stop number 9 were your dropped off from the airport. Turn left and walk up the street for 5 mins and Alda hotel is on your right. There is a tourist information shop a couple of minutes up from the hotel on the same side which was a huge help👍🏻 Also, the number...
Excellent location, in the center! Great staffs service. They allowed us to early check in! It has hot tub and sauna and gym, it is small. We just came just sleep. Parking on street paying in meter. There are lots of restaurants and stores sorrounding! Excellent experience!
Nice clean hotel, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, minutes from shops, bars and restaurants but still very quiet. Plenty of bus stops close by too. The room was great, deluxe double with balcony. We managed to sit out there every night and see the aurora borealis which was incredible.
Great centre of Reykjavik hotel, breakfast is a wide variety and good quality
Nice location. Expensive for a very small room but perhaps common in Iceland. Toilet smells. Sometimes the toilet paper is not replaced.

Pick it for the location - in downtown Reykjavik (beautifully lit with fairy lights during winter) with lots of traditional houses, close to a main bus stop (for tours) and in walking distance of restaurants and the harbour. This hotel is such a cute place with simple, modern rooms which are quiet at night. To get there from the airport, buy a Flybus ticket (right by the exit in arrivals) and go to...
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Reykjavík Centrum and would definitely give it 5 stars. We stayed in a triple room, which was very comfortable and well organized, offering plenty of space for a great stay. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel very comfortable...
I loved everything about my stay here. The staff made me feel very welcomed and helped me with any questions I had even before I arrived. The location was perfect to everything I needed to get to. The breakfast in the morning was always very filling and appetizing and perfect way to start each day. I highly recommend adding that to your stay. I would always pick here to stay when traveling to Reykjav...
I strongly recommend that hotel. Yes, it is overpriced but it is the average value in Reykjavik as well. Breakfast is perfect and the staff is kind.
Great hotel, location couldn't be better, spotlessly clean, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. The receptionist (I think she was called Kristýna) was super helpful with ideas on where to visit, she was an absolute super star! Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing hotel. Beds were super comfortable, lovely and warm (and I'm really fussy!) Staff were very friendly and always happy to answer questions. Service of the room is on request which is a brilliant idea no one changes crying every day at home! Breakfast was fresh and ample. We didn't have any issues with noise and we were at the side of the hotel. Stayed for our honeymoon and had a lovely note...

Great location. Walking distance to the Rainbow Road & the church. However, our room had a pretty bad smell from the sink/bathroom. Pretty noisy at night(til 2am) from the restaurant bar across the hotel.
Lovely overall experience. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The general hotel design is beautiful and modern and the rooms are cozy and very clean, with comfortable beds and modern showers. My only point here would be that the rooms might need a bit of refreshing (like a new paint for the walls for example). However, wonderful overall stay and delicious breakfast. Would definitely come...
As you enter the hotel you can obviously see that they are seeking for money. No kettle or spresso machine in the room (you have to pay around 20€ daily if you want them) , no water in the fridge at all , a list of the prices of all the products in the room ( such as blankets and condoms and some toothbrushes and etc.) hidden in the cabinet! Each hour of late checkout costs 50€ . The room is nice...
Great location and helpful staff but the rooms have not been slept in by anyone running this hotel - and therefore aren’t well designed. No light switches or sockets by the bed (in fact only one set of sockets under the desk and the window on the floor so you have to properly get down on hands and knees!) other than that the toilet doesn’t have a proper door and the shower is just behind a glass panel...
The room, the staff (especially Abraham) , everything was perfect.
We found our room to be typical of most European hotels. Minimalist, no storage, and no door on the bathroom. That means when you turn on the light to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it lights up the entire room. Tha room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is in a convenient location close to the city center. Service is fine and generally meets basic expectations. The room is clean and comfortable. However, the cooking facilities are not very practical, so guests who plan to prepare meals may find it a little inconvenient.
Everything was so good! I love the space , was so clean and the food thank you definitely we coming back we had amazing experience.
The location is amazing in the middle of the shopping, dining, supermarkets, bus stops etc. Room is not large but has everything one needs. Loved the kitchenette, access to coffee, towels, and kitchen needs. Room was clean, modern and includes a small dining table. We enjoyed the bar downstairs when it was open. Hope we can afford this place if we ever to Iceland!
Everything about this place was great! Loved the room, and the location was perfect. Great place to stay.
Everything was fine but no one knew where it’s no sign out side. Even the police car was right out side apartments. But she didn’t not know. .
This was a nice place for a few days stay. The only problem we ran into is that it’s challenging to get in touch with anyone should you need anything. We needed more coffee pods and garbage bags, and neither of which were restocked in the hall cabinet. The best part was the breakfast bag. Amazing staff & hospitality. Can’t say enough how the front desk went above and beyond for my wife and I. 10/10 and would def recommend a stay here.
Great location, near all restaurants and shops The room was superb and clean. Parking wasn’t ideal at all, we had to park 5-10 mins away.
City hotel, street noise, but no restaurant, room service or hotel bar or lounge. Interesting neighborhood and nice room.
Parking was a little confusing but after we figured out where the lobby was and how to get to it we were fine.
Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. Nice hotel. Decent price. Well located. Breakfast available but we didn't.
There was no vegetarian breakfast or warm/hot breakfast available, close to places
I had a really nice stay at this hostel in Iceland. The location was great and it was easy to get around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm, which was perfect after spending the day outside exploring.

The rooms are modest, the bathroom is nice and clean and has a modern rainfall shower. The receptionists are really friendly and helpful! We were a bit early for check in but they helped us register and let us park the car in the hotels parking lot.
4* in location because it's easier to drive to downtown than walk, less than 10 minutes.... parking close to the church is cheap enough. Lovely staff, the room is excellent, enough space for three of us. We enjoy the breakfast, good variety but it's the same thing everyday, but that's no problem for us.
Nice clean, modern hotel about 20 minutes walk from the attractions of Reykjavik. There are some nice restaurants close by especially Olifa pizza restaurant, there's a Netto supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Decent breakfast and nice friendly staff. The room was great! The staff were very helpful and we were able to get an early check in since our flight landed at 7am. Hotel was very quiet and nice! Definitely worth a try!
Room was great. It would be great if the rooms were as updated as the lobby area. The rooms are a little dated and thr hallways leading to the rooms have the grandma's house smell, but overall it was good. I'd come back.
Everything was fine; just a hotel to sleep while you are vacationing, nothing special.
Stay at Hotel Iceland Comfort was pleasant. Price of accommodation very acceptable. Room neat, clean and comfortable. Receptionist extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent but a little on the expensive side.
Smell of a fish dish through the reception of the hotel every evening. Not in the rooms though. Room clean and comfortable thoughout the stay.

The official website advertised luggage storage, but it wasn't available, completely disrupting my travel plans. The staff's service was also very poor. The location is remote, with no proper roads for loading and unloading luggage; I had to carry heavy luggage up stairs covered in snow. However, the room was beautifully decorated, the heating was good, and the bathtub was nice.
Very cool, quiet place. Downtown is a 20 minute drive away. 40 to Thingavellir park. There's no reception, but check-in was easy. Bed and pillow were comfortable (subjective). Hot tub was great since it was snowing. We had a great time.
This was WAY overpriced for what it was. I didn't expect it to be so close to the freeway. The windows weren't even see through. This honestly felt like a scam
Stayed for 1 night as a family of 4 in the Krafla Dome. Lovely experience, nice and cosy and well equipped. Hot tub needed topped up with water and 2 men came within 5-10 minutes after I phoned and topped it up. Would definitely recommend a stay here, it was a nice way to end our busy 4 days exploring this beautiful country.
I was expecting rustic but at least thought it would have a door. Nice place, good bed, warm. Wood stove even though we found out wood is a premium in iceland.
Clean room, amazing views, comfy beds. We enjoyed the extra touch of champagne and macaroons left for us. Coffee was also there, no need to purchase and bring with you. The code entry for the door worked well. And hreyfill taxi service knows how to get you to and from the Domes and Reykjavik. Be sure to schedule with the taxi the night before you want to leave to avoid a wait.

Love this!!!! It’s awesome, the guys there are kind and passionate.
We had two different kinds of rooms here. 1 two bedroom apt (at the top of the rainbow road) and 1 double bedroom onsite in the hotel. The hotel room was very cramped but fine for just sleeping. The 2 bedroom apt was huge and in a great location BUT it was super noisy on Saturday night (late) when people were going out/home. If that's not an issue for you, highly recommend. If it is, ask for a room...
Great location! Only a block or so away from rainbow road and about a 5-10 min walk from the church or bus stop 8. Walk to BSI bus terminal is a little bit further (10-15 minutes), but not bad. The rooms have so many outlets which was greatly appreciated. Very friendly staff and breakfast was good.
Very accessible and centrally located. Near restaurants, places of interest. I will recommend.
Location was great, it was walking distance to most places. There was a really nice bar just opposite. Service staff were helpful and pleasant. The room I stayed in was quite small. A classically modern hotel. The rooms do feel a little tight but enough to move around. The staff is very accommodating and easy to work with. Hotel itself is on a strange one way that Google Maps has a hard time directing to. Visited here in mid February so it was quiet and lots nearby to walk to. There are a lot of nearby bars and restaurants so I could see this being a popular spot.
Staff was wonderful. Helped us book fly us to airport and held our bags for us. Room was amazing! I would def stay here again if I return to Iceland. Close to everything downtown and the restaurant was so good. We had dinner and breakfast there!
The Apotek Restaurant has a great breakfast menu. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff Service is excellent.
The staff was attentive and the hotel was clean as was the room and bathroom. It is at a great location within walking distance from bus stops and shopping and some of the important sightseeing locations. Great! The hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious! The front desk staff were kind and spoke in easy-to-understand English, which was very helpful!
Overall, it was a nice hotel. Breakfast was included and it was reasonably priced. It was a little far from Reykjavik, so it was a 10-minute drive away, which was great because we could see the Northern Lights. However, the room door wouldn't lock.
Room was clean, staff was kind. Really like that it was close to the city but far enough to get from the crowds

This is a good boutique hotel with rooms that give a quality feel. Excellent shower and balcony that added to my stay after enjoying my adventures in Iceland, I knew I would come back to a warm and clean room. The Breakfast was a great way to start your day. The only tiny issue was a loud door closing in the corridor due to a heavy spring closure. Great staff.
Excellent hotel, great views, and attentive service.
I was looking for an affordable hotel in Iceland, where prices are high, and I ended up here. The room was so small that I had to sleep on the bed, but the bed and linens were comfortable enough to help me relax and recover from my fatigue.
2-night stay The location is great and the downstairs bar is excellent. The breakfast is good but a bit hit and miss with some items. Coffee is excellent! The basic rooms are very small, so if with two suitcases gets cramped. Staff is lovely.
Good Spot Clean room and property. The front desk was very helpful and patient with our many questions about the area.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the pier, and the staff are friendly. We were given a lovely warm welcome and the staff were amazing throughout our stay. Nice sized room with everything you need and really comfortable bed. A bit of noise from the street outside but the hotel provides you with earplugs and a sleep mask which was a nice touch.
It's OK, a little noisy on the street
They are very responsive, hotel is just next to halal restaurant and supermarkets my stay was perfect
