Caruso Sea View in Sorrento

DO NOT stay in that hotel. Cant stress this enough!! Worst ‘hotel’ I ever step foot at. I’m not even gonna mention the thousand stairs to get to the rooms. The smell of mould was so strong that I had to complain when I first got there and they said that there was nothing they could do at that moment. Had to book another hotel and after that the offered me to do a mould cleaning (probably knowing that this was pointless as I was already in another hotel). When I saw other reviews other people have complaint about the same probably just I wonder why not do the cleaning before the guest arrives?? I ended up booking another hotel (palazzo tasso), price was not that different but the difference was HUGE!! Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else. Completely waste of money,

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am a travel advisor and I sold this place to two couples for four nights. The guests tried to contact Agostino to check in, but he did not answer his phone, texts, or WhatsApp messages/phone. The guests should have received an email from them a few days before, but neither they nor I received anything. The owner claims not to have our contact information, which is completely untrue. The clients ended up on the sidewalk, and I had to take several steps to finally get them access. I myself tried to reach the owner on behalf of my clients, without success. (He only replied the next day when I asked for a refund). Once there, the clients saw that nothing resembled what was presented on the rental platforms. Everything is dilapidated, unsanitary, and unsafe. They left the building the next morning to find a better place, and the owner refuses to issue a refund for misrepresentation. Legal proceedings will be taken against the supplier and the hotel in the coming days. Don't believe good advice

Terrible experience. Host not responsive when we can’t find the place. Room is very dirty expecially the bathroom, the beds and the grounds. Too much stairs hidden inside the main door. Tourist trap place. Very noisy at night. Shower space is super limited.

We had the worst experience at this place for our honey moon. The main problem is too much stairs not shown in the booking page and the room is very dirty. On the showing page, it’s 3rd floor, actually it’s 4th. The inside red steps is not shown on the booking page. Too much stairs is not shown fully on your booking page and video.
The dirty problem is the dirty bathroom floor, dirty pillows, dirty refrigerator and dirty remote control which showed in the pictures I took.
We stayed only one night and the other 3 nights were wasted .
