Hotels on first line in Majorca island

I stayed here with my friends for a week, in september 2025 and we had the best time. The rooms are very clean, and so is the restaurant and every part of the hotel. It is very close to the beach and shops

The staff is very friendly and helpful. But the food, the food is EXCELLENT!! We had breakfast and dinner and it was perfect

We actually refused to eat out at bars or restaurants because we didn’t want to miss the hotel dinner, because it was better than anywhere else we ate here in Can Picafort

Iv’e stayed here a few times and it’s faultless, food is excellent, beds are comfortable and it’s in a great location

The balcony was great with sunbeds and tables and chairs, a real suntrap! 2 points, the pillows not great to be honest I guess I could have asked them to be changed but didn't so my fault! Second issue , is the shower, every time we used it the floor became very wet which was a little slippery we ended up with water on the floor around the toilet may I suggest a mat of some sort

I can confidently recommend this hotel to everyone. The evenings offered great entertainment programs, and the whole area around the hotel was peaceful and quiet, which made the stay even more enjoyable

If I had to mention downsides, the soundproofing of the rooms could be improved, and the bathroom would benefit from a renovation. However, these did not negatively impact my overall experience

Very good. Sometimes dinner is not very varied but breakfast is very good and the staff are very attentive and quick. No problem finding sunbeds or space in the pool

I was truly impressed by my stay at Welikehotel Marfil Playa. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding – not only plentiful, but genuinely delicious

I really appreciated how carefully the hotel catered to different dietary preferences, including sugar-free and gluten-free options. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing

The location was almost perfect. You're on the beach in 5 minutes and there's a wonderful pool. The cocktails at the bar were prepared with love and skill. But the best part was the Animator with his great animations

Hotel clean. Staff very friendly. Food good but area walking towards beach grubby.

Brunch is great idea if your not an early riser but menu didnt change and wasn't very hot. Gym wasn't if much good and if you like German TV is good. I would visit again but needs a little improvement

A nice little hotel with good value for money. Staff seemed nice, breakfast was fine. Lots of fruit options and you could make a healthy breakfast if you wanted to (which I didn't!)

7 minutes walk to the beach, has a Lidl and food places nearby. It's mostly young couples, not much kids or elderly

Good area near the beach. Breakfast/brunch very good. Very good locac bistro nearby. A litle bit noisy street nearby.

Loved the chromecast on the tv. Breakfast is open for a long time and with nice variety of options. The room is clean and nice with airco and we even had a beach view in the distance

Food and drinks We were room only and ate in the pool Bar and the food was wow! Goats cheese salad , fresh hot pizzas! The cocktails were great too (aperol spritzes) and more reasonably priced than anywhere else we found in Cala D’or! Location Could not be in a more perfect location! 5 mins from the beach (Cala Gran) 5 mins from the main square! 2 mins from the little train that goes all around...

The place is nice and the staff is super friendly. They were wonderful with our kids, very helpful and attentive and just great people

Pool area was lovely! Quiet,clean well spread out no rushing for beds, nice pool bar and food! Perfect location, short stroll to the beautiful beach then couple more minutes to the restaurants,cafes,bars,shops all beautifully clean and modern and great food ! Taxi to the harbour was 7€ and had a lovely meal there overlooking the yachts and beautiful area Definetly would love to come back ! Only...

This is our second time staying at the hotel! It was good value for money for us! Close to the beach. Nice pool, nice people. I recommend it to everyone.

Rooms We had a pool view ground floor which was perfect! The rooms are very spacious there was 4 of us and lots of space and storage (3 wardrobes) Mostly clean, a few bits missed but sheets were changed and clean towels every day nothing major me being picky! Rooms had kettle and fridge which was great for milk , water etc

I think it’s the best possible balance between peace and quiet, the beach, and nightlife! If you like playing basketball, there's a small basketball court available near by Building 6 and 7!!!

Nice family hotel. The rooms are quite nice with the balcony and kitchenette, so we don’t have to spend all the time in restaurants. Well located, nice pools, chairs, nice beach. I would go again.

I liked the closeness to the beautiful Esmeralda beach, pool aea and brunch

Comfortable hotel in a very touristy environment. Staff not very welcoming (especially restaurants by the pool). Limited comfort in pool/beach. Beaches are nice but Town setting is tourist shops only

Not sure why some people comment negatively about it. Pools are lovely, the rooms were cleaned every day except Thursdays and Sundays which was never an issue

Great Hotel, near the beach and in the middle of Playa del Palma. Great place to spend the holidays and with nice rooms, great sea & pool view, swimming pool's, spa, tenis courd and grat morning breakfast

Probably one of the first hotels on the beach is more than 50 years old - renovated and decent buffet food, terrible bed and quality rooms - book the ones facing the seaside

Visited 24th Feb this year, a late review but a positive one, stayed on the 6th floor facing the sea it was absolutely beautiful! Room, service, cleanliness, staff, food everything was spot on I cannot wait to revisit! Close to the airport and city centre as well

I have many words to say for this hotel and every single word is 'perfect'. Everything in this hotel is in the right place. From the room, pool, adults pool, warm pool, the restaurant, bar, spa, massage

Mama is cooking your grill daily on breakfast and dinner. A bit crowds by German teenager’s, beer capitans. You can spend good time in it, or on the beach

Great hotel. Staff is amazing! A bit loud but it's the price you have to pay by being in such close proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops

food was very good (it is unashamedly aimed at a certain European demographic, very German centric) Everything was included gym sauna pool etc

The whole area seems to be clean and sometimes you can watch small birds drinking water from the pool or taking a bath

Excellent polite attentive service. Extremely clean. Lovely rooms and swimming pool. Breakfast and lunch lovely. Excellent value for money. Evening meal, buffet was fine although at times not the hottest.

We were probably the only British guests but we did not mind that at all. We liked sitting outside for meals and that takes a bit of technique as there are not enough seats for everyone out on the balcony!

We ended up here after our flight was cancelled and well it was fantastic and eased the pain. The guys on the front desk were brilliant

No fighting over sun beds in high season makes a nice change! Happy parents and kids age 15-17! Safe village for youngsters to go out and have some fun sometimes without parents

The location of the hotel is amazing. 10 seconds walk from the pool area to the stunning beach. The food was fantastic, the staff were all extremely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful

Zack (Zacarias) is the man, his job is hard work, trying to please everyone but he connected with everyone. Good fun and made our stay really enjoyable. The hotel is due a refurb, which tbh is in need

The views are stunning, and i don't think I have been anywhere that can beat them. The pool is lovely and spacious with plenty of sunbeds for guests. The beach is just down some steps and is absolutely beautiful

Although the hotel is dated, great staff service, food service, and location bring us back for more. The hotel is rumored to undergo a major renovation this winter off-season

A special mention goes to Zack, the entertainer, he was super nice, full of energy, and made sure everyone was having a great time. We had such a wonderful time here and can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was great, with everything in this world, you get what you pay for. For what we paid, the location, the staff, cleanliness were (are) fantastic

Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Roof bar is fab for watching the sunset with a cocktail. Pool couches are great looking onto the beach - great for people watching

Carla, at the check in was very helpful and gave us some nice info about the places to visit, beaches etc Mallorca is a huge island, many beaches, we loved going to Sacalobra not only it was very beautiful and with few people but the road to get there is breathtaking, amazing views all the way

We have been staying at this hotel for years always a good choice, we always book a superior sea view room half board

Nice hotel The hotel is not new but some renovation was made and it is very well maintained and well located with a parking close by, and you can book a space through the hotel, which is very convenient

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Walking distance from restaurants and tram station. The rooftop is quite nice and had drinks and ate Japanese food which was good

The hotel was ideal. Room was perfect and had brilliant view. Loads if space and amenities. Staff were friendly especially reception where Cecelia was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of variety.

For more interesting culinary experience I suggest you walk along the coast towards S’illot until you reach the narrow walkway area

Just step outside the pool area, and you’re immediately greeted by paradise — the sparkling Mediterranean Sea right in front of you, as if nature itself had opened its arms

Lovely hotel with a nice pool and right on the beach. We went half board, so had breakfast and evening meals included. A big variety so something for everyone. Rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel immaculate

The workers in the hotel are just wonderful! Angela front desk always sweet and helpful, Fernando front desk funny and super nice, I dont know her name but the super nice and patient lady who made our omelets every morning

The rooms, the pool areas, the common areas, the toilets, everywhere is spotlessly clean. Not even a blade of grass out of place. There is an onsite spa, and the location is a few moments walk to the beach

There is always a smile for you. From the wonderful reception team, the waiting staff, the cleaning staff, the team of kitchen staff. They seem genuinely happy, and that is a good cue of a hotel

Now we stayed for 6 nights and there was different musical entertainment every night. There are different classes during the day and there is a bus trip to the Arta market every Tuesday morning

We originally paid for a b&b stay but after arrival paid to go half board. The food is magnificent! Plenty of choice, full of flavour and replenished often. The staff go above and beyond

The hotel is perfectly located out of all the hustle and bustle and right 3 minutes' walk to the beach, promenade and bars/shops/cafes. I am looking forward to booking again, if such an opportunity will arise

Our room was stunning, (bigger than some flats in the UK!) A walk in dressing area, huge main living area with ample seating and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in

Never had to worry about reserving sun beds too ! Stayed here with my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter she loved the kids club. Rooms kept really clean and tidy the hotel was beautiful

We paid extra for a sea view on one of the top floors. Amazing views of sea and a spacious balcony to relax. We booked bed and breakfast and staff helpful and attentive

They had a separate pool and children’s play area to the side of hotel, that did not encroach on the main area. The roof top bar has amazing views with comfy sofas and swing seats

We had a great stay at the Prinsotel La Dorada. The accommodation is modern, fully equipped with quality materials. The ground floor 2 bedroom suites with a private heated pool are ideal for a family of 4

I also recommend getting the Club Member upgrade which allows you to choose between the restaurants at no extra cost. Last but not least the staff were great, very welcoming and helpful

There is so much that I would like to say about Prinsotel La Dorada. This hotel is incredible – so much so that my family and I have been back there several times

From the moment you walk in the entrance it is clear to see how much work goes in to keeping the standards of this hotel exceptionally and consistently high

You will be greeted by one of the reception staff who are ALL unbelievably helpful

Given the cold weather in March, these amenities were the primary reason for my booking. I hope you will address these operational failures to ensure future guests can fully utilize the advertised facilities

The fridge they had in the room spoiled ALL my milk! Because it was not cold at all. It was almost warm (yes we checked the thermostat). That was the worse thing I experienced

We had a nice room with balcony for 2 nights and 3 days. I took 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. At the time I visited I was lactating and I needed to pump

Over three consecutive days, I encountered significant issues despite following this procedure. On the first day, reception forgot to turn the facilities on

On the third day, despite reporting these issues and confirming a specific time with staff, the facilities still did not reach an adequate temperature

On the second day, the sauna was only lukewarm and the steam room was non-functional

It was also always very cold in the hotel; the air conditioners were blowing too much, so we had to wear sweaters to eat. Upon check-in, we paid a whopping 27 euros. This is the first time I've seen a 10% tourist tax

The rooftop plunge pool was tiny, but the views from the roof terrace were great! Regretted the decision to book a dinner-inclusive rate, as the dinner buffet was fairly basic, and the restaurant ambience is pretty poor - in the basement, with no windows and not very attractively furnished

Overall, this is a good hotel! Newly renovated, clean, and beautiful. Regarding the food: there was a decent variety at dinner, but breakfast was a bit lacking, almost repeating itself

It was ok for the price! It’s in a fairly unattractive part of town, but an easy 10 min walk from the seafront. Buses to Palma and the airport stop right outside

Regarding the room: the idea of ​​the translucent, non-closing shower and toilet doors is a real bummer. It's hard to shower or use the restroom without a problem

Special shout-out to a security gentleman for returning our lost luggage during transfer to the hotel. Fanatatic music played by a DJ by the pool!! Honestly, 100% reccomend

Newly refurbished, clean and tidy. Very good selection of brunch buffet. Hotel staff exeptional, very helpful and kind

Only problem is that pool not so safe to be in and enjoy time if you're going with small children, other guests play very aggressively ball and hit me in the head

I really think this hotel is great. Situated in a calm street, but still close to the beach, shops and restaurants

Good beds, big and clean rooms, exellent food, lots of activities, games, pools, sauna, gym. Easy to take the bus to Palma. Nice beaches nearby with small restaurants and shops

My favorite spot is the spacious roof top terrace with sunbeds and lounge/relax beds (big enough for two)

The location of the hotel is good and it has two outdoor pools and one small indoor pool. No cosy bar, just an echoing large cafeteria style room

Main benefits: very nice and professional staff, great food in the restaurant, nice rooms and very clean everywhere

Great cycling location, property has a secure bike garage with tools, air, and bike shower. One block from the beach and a mile from Alcudia old walled city an easy walk. Highly recommend!
