I have recently returned from a last minute, end of the season trip to the Tacande. The hotel was due to close at the end of October. Had a fantastic stay here. Staff super lovely, Gold rooms were luxurious, and the pools/loungers/bali beds were amazing! Buffet breakfast was also good. Location is perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The size of the room and up keep of the grounds was great. Average hotel in a nice place, good service, average breakfast and dinner (not too much variety), nice but small swimming pools, but there is a wonderful small beach very close. Dunno bout the spa, as it was closed. All in all, an average experience, but I was expecting something a bit better.

The staff was amazingly professional and customer orientated!!!! We had a little situation with the original tour of the city, no fault of the staff! Though I was a bit disappointed, they went above and beyond themselves in reassuring us that there were other ways to see the city and to enjoy ourselves. The property is amazing, the staff were super friendly, the food was amazing and all of the inside areas were great as well as the views around my room. To get to the cathedral, you need to take a bus. It takes about 30 minutes to walk. The hairdryer and shower had sufficient water pressure. 🚿 We were allowed into our room even though it was before check-in time. I’ve never see such diligent room service. Every time we leave the room for more than an hour, we come back with a freshly made room - multiple times a day. Incredible service! One of the best hotels that I stayed and I have stayed in many. Provides high quality in everything like smooth towels, very clean room and amazing body care products. The hotel is well organised, staff is very attentative. Decent breakfast, beds ok. We arrived very early, but were able to enter a room before actual checkin time. The room I was in was okay, the bed was comfortable. Had a kettle, a toaster and a microwave alongside the basic stuff in the kitchen. The sea is pretty near, you can walk there in about 15 minutes or so, which is great. The breakfast was okay, though the scrambled eggs and omelet tasted like dishwashing soap. Such a wonderful hotel. The main takeaway was how wonderful and lovely the staff were every single day esp to my 10month old. Everyone is so accommodating. The pool is lovely. We've stayed here so many times. Never disappointed. Room was great as usual. Perfect for the beach and promenade. 20 minutes by bus to Palma. A special shout to Pablo who greets us every year with a smile and a handshake. A true gent. Clean, good food, and pool area excellent. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riu Festival. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day. Food was tasteful and well presented, the waitresses were attentive and friendly.
