Reviews
Later around 1–2 a.m., the AC in the new room started making unbearable noise. The technician couldn’t fix it properly and the problem returned within minutes. No manager was available at night, and the only solution offered was another room change. I had to shift rooms again at 2 a.m. while my child was sleeping. It was extremely stressful and unacceptable.
What made it worse was the next morning — the manager was not at all apologetic. He behaved as if nothing had happened and showed no concern or regret for the horrible inconvenience we went through.
On top of that, they don’t even have proper staff to help with luggage. There was no one to assist. We had to carry all our luggage ourselves from the ground floor to the reception, then to the room. Even while checking out, from the room to the reception and then from the reception to the cab, again we had to manage everything on our own. It really felt like the hotel has no staff at all.
Overall, the stay was extremely disturbing, inconvenient, and absolutely not worth the money. This is not a family-friendly hotel at all. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Every room smelled strongly of dampness, mold, and mildew.
They changed my room but still it was bad. Had to stay with no option due to my reasons. Because of the excessive humidity, the floor in my room was constantly wet. The Ac was not good and has foul smell. Had to request for freshener multiple times.
The noise from the construction around the hotel was disturbing.
The breakfast options were bad—just a few types of Indian dishes, one kind of toast, two low-quality jams, cheap butter, and eggs.
And the staff, they were okay. Didn’t had problem with them except with a lady in the restaurant. I had an infant with me and when I asked that I want to take just 2 pieces of watermelon outside because my baby didn’t had good breakfast at that moment, she didn’t allow me, I discussed with her showing the baby also, she was not even considerate, one of the worst thai persons i’ve met in my journey. I don’t even understand how people can be this hard. Will the baby cause any losses or what, there’s a lot of food wastage, that’s not a concern but just taking 2 pieces of watermelon was a concern, i’m seriously very much disappointed with this. That’s very inhuman.
Overall, it was very very very very bad experience.
Why come to Thailand to stay in an Indian dominated hotel.Rooms are tiled with slippery floors not suited for children. Dont be fooled by the photos. The pool is very small. If i could give it a half star, i would. The hotel doesn't seem to have adequate ventilation as the rooms are always damp with a smell. Poor food, poor service, and avoid this hotel. I asked the chef for soft boiled eggs for my son and was told they couldn't make one. The guests were very rude at breakfast, pushing and shoving you out of the way. I do have to say all of the Thai staff are very polite and as helpful as the hotel management allows them to be. We all
checked out 8 days early with no refund. Hotel staff admitted there was a problem with the ventilation, and the hotel is undergoing repair . We both ended up sick from the mouldy damp air.
The bathroom was notably dirty, with visible dirt marks in the grout between the tiles and around the glass panels going into the silicon. On our first night, we were not provided with a duvet and pillows, which was rectified after a call to reception. However, the general cleaning throughout our stay was poor, with housekeeping barely cleaning the room, often just mopping the floor and sweeping debris to one side.
On a positive note, the hotel lobby, reception area, and infinity pool were quite nice. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast, although repetitive, was tasty and included a variety of options such as rice, noodles, omelette, and daal curry, along with juices and tea/coffee. The hotel’s location is superb, being a 20-minute walk to Patong Beach, with a 7/11 less than 2 minutes away and various restaurants within a 15-minute walk.
In summary, while the hotel has some appealing features, the poor housekeeping and cleanliness issues, particularly in the rooms and bathrooms, significantly detract from the overall experience. Management needs to address these issues to improve guest satisfaction.
2 stars based on the reception staff, location and breakfast.
1. **Service:** The service was below average. There was a noticeable lack of attention to guest needs, and the staff did not seem to make any effort to provide a high level of service.
2. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was extremely poor. Both the rooms and common areas were not maintained to an acceptable standard of hygiene.
3. **Reception and Flexibility:** There was no cooperation or flexibility from the reception staff. They were unhelpful and did not show any willingness to accommodate guest requests.
4. **Sound Insulation:** The rooms lacked sound insulation, making it nearly impossible to sleep peacefully. I could hear all the noise from the hallways, which was very disturbing and prevented a restful stay.
In conclusion, my experience at this hotel was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
The reception team was always available to assist with any questions or requests I had during my stay. Their knowledge of the local area and willingness to help with recommendations made a big difference in my trip.
The service I received at the reception was a key part of what made my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent customer service and a comfortable stay.
