Booked here for 12 nights, and was given a room on the 4th floor with mountain view. Don't pick that option as there is no mountain view. After 3 nights I had to be moved as I had bed bugs but the manager moved me with no hassle and gave me a room on the 7th floor, again with mountain view. Breakfast is okay if your happy to have a repeat of more or less the same thing everyday. Restaurant food is good but they door charge you 7% on top of your bill. There is a rooftop pool which is a nice feature especially in the day time. I do wish they had advertised that kids were welcome as that put a downer on my experience, but is now noted for next time One thing I must admit is that the staff are incredible. Really polite and helpful and all speak good English. Location of the hotel is pretty good. Not far from Bangla Road/Patong Beach and there is a Taxi rank literally outside. 7/11 is just a couple of doors away and if you decide to travel by bus, the bus stop is at the top of the road. Overall this is a "good" standard of hotel and I would possibly consider it again but only if it was an Adult Only Establishment. Oh and thank you to JahJah for cleaning my room everyday and leaving me lovely Towel Features everyday on my return.

I had a terrible experience at Mercure Hotel, Patong. The first room they gave me was completely dirty — the bathroom was not cleaned and the dustbins were still full and used. I had to change my room at 11 p.m. with all my luggage and my child.

Later around 1–2 a.m., the AC in the new room started making unbearable noise. The technician couldn’t fix it properly and the problem returned within minutes. No manager was available at night, and the only solution offered was another room change. I had to shift rooms again at 2 a.m. while my child was sleeping. It was extremely stressful and unacceptable.

What made it worse was the next morning — the manager was not at all apologetic. He behaved as if nothing had happened and showed no concern or regret for the horrible inconvenience we went through.

On top of that, they don’t even have proper staff to help with luggage. There was no one to assist. We had to carry all our luggage ourselves from the ground floor to the reception, then to the room. Even while checking out, from the room to the reception and then from the reception to the cab, again we had to manage everything on our own. It really felt like the hotel has no staff at all.

Overall, the stay was extremely disturbing, inconvenient, and absolutely not worth the money. This is not a family-friendly hotel at all. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at Mercure Phuket Patong Journeyhub. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff was polite, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is great—close to Patong Beach and all major attractions, yet peaceful enough to relax. The pool area and hotel amenities were well maintained. They also offer amazing multiple food options, which made the stay even better. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Patong!

A budget property with decent roof top view. And a pool that was not working for all three days of my stay. The view from the room is better avoided. 1 downside of property is that u have to catch a lift from ground floor yourself to 8th floor with all the luggage to be welcomed at the reception.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever been to.
Every room smelled strongly of dampness, mold, and mildew.
They changed my room but still it was bad. Had to stay with no option due to my reasons. Because of the excessive humidity, the floor in my room was constantly wet. The Ac was not good and has foul smell. Had to request for freshener multiple times.
The noise from the construction around the hotel was disturbing.
The breakfast options were bad—just a few types of Indian dishes, one kind of toast, two low-quality jams, cheap butter, and eggs.
And the staff, they were okay. Didn’t had problem with them except with a lady in the restaurant. I had an infant with me and when I asked that I want to take just 2 pieces of watermelon outside because my baby didn’t had good breakfast at that moment, she didn’t allow me, I discussed with her showing the baby also, she was not even considerate, one of the worst thai persons i’ve met in my journey. I don’t even understand how people can be this hard. Will the baby cause any losses or what, there’s a lot of food wastage, that’s not a concern but just taking 2 pieces of watermelon was a concern, i’m seriously very much disappointed with this. That’s very inhuman.
Overall, it was very very very very bad experience.

No Thai food, all Indian chefs, very average food.
Why come to Thailand to stay in an Indian dominated hotel.Rooms are tiled with slippery floors not suited for children. Dont be fooled by the photos. The pool is very small. If i could give it a half star, i would. The hotel doesn't seem to have adequate ventilation as the rooms are always damp with a smell. Poor food, poor service, and avoid this hotel. I asked the chef for soft boiled eggs for my son and was told they couldn't make one. The guests were very rude at breakfast, pushing and shoving you out of the way. I do have to say all of the Thai staff are very polite and as helpful as the hotel management allows them to be. We all
checked out 8 days early with no refund. Hotel staff admitted there was a problem with the ventilation, and the hotel is undergoing repair . We both ended up sick from the mouldy damp air.

During our stay at JourneyHub Phuket, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our experience. The room had a persistent damp smell, likely due to an air conditioning unit that had not been cleaned or serviced in a while. This odor affected our clothing, even when kept in our luggage. When we reported this to housekeeping, their solution was to spray a deodorizer, which only masked the smell for 10-15 minutes.

The bathroom was notably dirty, with visible dirt marks in the grout between the tiles and around the glass panels going into the silicon. On our first night, we were not provided with a duvet and pillows, which was rectified after a call to reception. However, the general cleaning throughout our stay was poor, with housekeeping barely cleaning the room, often just mopping the floor and sweeping debris to one side.

On a positive note, the hotel lobby, reception area, and infinity pool were quite nice. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast, although repetitive, was tasty and included a variety of options such as rice, noodles, omelette, and daal curry, along with juices and tea/coffee. The hotel’s location is superb, being a 20-minute walk to Patong Beach, with a 7/11 less than 2 minutes away and various restaurants within a 15-minute walk.

In summary, while the hotel has some appealing features, the poor housekeeping and cleanliness issues, particularly in the rooms and bathrooms, significantly detract from the overall experience. Management needs to address these issues to improve guest satisfaction.

2 stars based on the reception staff, location and breakfast.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Below are some key points regarding my stay:

1. **Service:** The service was below average. There was a noticeable lack of attention to guest needs, and the staff did not seem to make any effort to provide a high level of service.

2. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was extremely poor. Both the rooms and common areas were not maintained to an acceptable standard of hygiene.

3. **Reception and Flexibility:** There was no cooperation or flexibility from the reception staff. They were unhelpful and did not show any willingness to accommodate guest requests.

4. **Sound Insulation:** The rooms lacked sound insulation, making it nearly impossible to sleep peacefully. I could hear all the noise from the hallways, which was very disturbing and prevented a restful stay.

In conclusion, my experience at this hotel was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

I recently stayed at Journeyhub phuket and was impressed by the overall experience, particularly the service at the reception. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient, handling my check-in and check-out smoothly.

The reception team was always available to assist with any questions or requests I had during my stay. Their knowledge of the local area and willingness to help with recommendations made a big difference in my trip.

The service I received at the reception was a key part of what made my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent customer service and a comfortable stay.

I have travelled here with 4 other friends. All boys and we had a great time! The hotel’s location is just by the roadside, with sufficient parking spaces for our motorcycles. The hotel staff r really kind and helpful, thank you very much for letting us do late checkout n give us 2 extra pillows! Very great service!
