Reviews
No double glazing means heavy road noise and the room does not get cool. The layout is also poorly thought out - the basin is in the room not in the toilet, so after using it you have to come out and wash your hands. It was a terrible night overall.
We had the new rooms for the previous 2 nights and they were much better. Good hot showers, spacious, cool and quiet. That's why I rate it a 3.
Since we stayed as part of a tour, this did not apply to us personally, but the hotel has a deposit policy that I have never encountered in any other hotel before. According to other guest reviews, they take 2,000 THB at check-in. During check-out, guests are then asked to wait in the lobby for 5–10 minutes while the room is inspected, and any missing items are deducted from this deposit.
Although we did not pay a deposit, the check-out experience was still unpleasant. The receptionist did not even greet us with a hello or good morning. She took our key card, made a phone call, and told us to wait for 5–10 minutes. After that, she simply said “okay, have a nice day,” and that was it. There was no warmth or friendliness at all. The same applied during check-in: the front desk staff appeared extremely unhappy, unmotivated, and rude.
In addition, the breakfast was very weak and extremely limited in variety, which was quite disappointing and far below expectations.
On the other hand, the breakfast staff, housekeeping team, and especially the bellboys were very kind, polite, and helpful.
I would rate the front desk staff 1 out of 5, but since everything else deserves a 5 out of 5, I am giving the hotel an overall rating of 3.
Wishing everyone a pleasant stay.
1. Location is excellent
2. Strong smell of sea food in waiting area as restaurant is behind reception area.
3. We were allotted room after 2 pm but lady at reception promptly took 2000 THB as security deposit in morning at 11:30 am itself.
4. We asked for some cutlery to which restaurant replied that we need to come down sign a declaration and then take it to room ourselves.
5. Housekeeping staff did cleaning of room on second day itself when we were out for tour without any intimation to us. There were some hair colour strains on their towel to which I received a personal message if fine of 500 THB for cleaning of towel!!
6. We had to check out from hotel at 6:30 am and called reception one day prior at 9:00 pm to request early breakfast. Receptionist said that since we have called after 8:30 pm no such request can be entertained. We requested for some bread and eggs but same were also sternly denied by receptionist.
7. During exit I informed staff that we can get a new towel for 500 THB and how is such a high cleaning cost justified. Reception said that decision of housekeeping staff is final and they did deduction from our security deposit.
Overall experience is pathetic to say the least. All my other hotels in Thailand were friendly.
I recently stayed at Andakira Hotel in Patong, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—close to the excitement of Patong but still peaceful enough to relax.
What really made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the staff. A huge thank-you to Zinnie, Pat, Cha, and Mok for going above and beyond every day. They were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their genuine hospitality made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, the pool was refreshing, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. I would definitely recommend Andakira Hotel to anyone visiting Patong, and I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip.
Breakfast options were average, and unfortunately, I suffered food poisoning after eating there. It ruined my entire day. After checking out, I had to use the lobby restroom multiple times, feeling extremely unwell. When I informed the front desk staff, they only asked what I had eaten for breakfast. I was so weak that I asked if there was a room available for me to rest temporarily, but to my disappointment, there wasn’t any, and they showed no concern for my situation.
I'm certain that the hotel breakfast caused my food poisoning. I urge everyone to be cautious with what to eat, especially for children. Overall, I will not be staying at this hotel again.
Location is pretty.
Service is great.
Plenty of parking. Food is so delicious.
🌊view para gliding is much good.
Patong beach. Bangla market, walking street is very nearby.
One indian restaurant is also nearby.
The beds are really hard.
Really close to fun stuff though.
The staff at the Andakira hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room maid, Poo, deserves a special mention - she always did an excellent job cleaning the room and made sure everything was spotless. The reception staff were available 24/7 and spoke perfect English, assisting with any questions or requests I had. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.
Accommodations:
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bedding was high quality and the air conditioning worked great to keep the room cool in the Phuket heat. The bathroom was also spacious and had good water pressure in the shower. While the room decor was a bit dated, it was still perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay.
Dining:
The hotel breakfast was a real highlight. It was served in a large buffet-style setup, with a huge variety of options to choose from. The fresh coffee and made-to-order scrambled eggs on toast were personal favorites. There was something to suit every taste, from local Thai dishes to Western favorites.
I did try the hotel's room service once, and while the food was exceptionally good, it was quite expensive compared to the local restaurants in the area. I opted not to dine at the onsite restaurant as the prices were similarly high.
Amenities:
The hotel has a pool on-site, though I didn't end up using it myself. Towels are provided for guests to use at the pool area. The 24/7 security presence and free parking were also nice perks.
Location:
The Andakira hotel has an excellent central location, just a short 5-10 minute walk from both Patong Beach and the lively Bangla Road. It's also very close to a nice shopping mall and bustling local markets, making it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at the Andakira hotel. The attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic breakfast made for a wonderful experience. While the on-site dining was quite pricey, the hotel's central location and range of amenities make it a great choice for exploring Phuket. I would happily stay here again.
