Cosy hotel situated away from the noise of Patong, but within walking distance to shops, bars and night clubs. Recommend for young people and tourists who prefer to combine a beach holiday with nightlife.

Located: 47 km from the airport, on the West coast of Phuket, on Patong beach, 700 m from the sea, across the road from the beach.

Consists of two 5-storey buildings.

The hotel has 88 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach in 700 m from the hotel (3 coastline). Umbrellas, sun beds - fee, towels from the hotel free of charge. Between the hotel and the beach road runs.

Decent rooms a block from Malin Plaza, nice pool, and a few minutes walk to PaTong Beach. Smoking balcony.
Exit games and cannabis nearby. 😉

There could be a little confusion between Chana Phuket Hotel and the next door Star Hotel, (as I booked to stay in Star, but technically I had to go to the nearby Chana Hotel building), but overall I have to say that it was an excellent stay. Hotel staff is nice and helpful. Speaks English. I extended our stay and downgraded to a 1step smaller room-setup, but the management offered me to stay in my (bigger) Deluxe room and not to pay any extra which was really nice of them!
2 cons: The pool on the top is in bad condition , no one's using it. And the wifi needs some upgrade too👍

I stayed at Chana Phuket Hotel, and it's definitely not a 3-star hotel. The staff is unfriendly, rarely smiling, and seems unwilling to assist. Late at night, they often play billiards in the lobby, creating noise audible in the rooms. Cleaning is a concern; they use old, dirty cloths, leaving an unpleasant odor. The facilities are outdated, poorly maintained, and barely functional. The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortably hard. After showering, the floor remains wet due to a poorly fixed showerhead. Negotiating with the cleaning staff was necessary for bedding changes, even when the room was not cleaned the previous day, and sand was found on the bed.

The room and the toilet was so smelly. Receptionist was very rude. Couldn't even accommodate our requests. Tiles in the room were all cracked till you can hear the noise when you walk. Everything was rusted in the toilet. There are better toilets in other hotels.

Dirty bath water . Infested with ants . No television. Bad wi fi . No lift working . Owner won't pay for pool cleaning so that's closed . Terrible place please even though it's cheap don't go . Left today after one month . Really awful experience .

This is our second stay and its great for the price point. Pool is fantastic, close to beach, shops and cheap food market. Reception staff are friendly. The only reason I drop a star is the house keeping. Definitely could be much better but again if you go ask they will get what they forgot to top up so nothing major.
