The breakfast was also acceptable, with everything you need. The restaurant is small.
The pool is modest in size, with a couple of sun loungers.
The location is 10-15 minutes to the beach, but that's in the southern part of Patong, where the pier and lots of boats are.
7/11 and Cheap are nearby, along with bike rentals and other shops. It's close to shopping centers and Bangla Road.
I read in reviews that it's noisy if the windows face the road, but I didn't pay attention to that and didn't realize that tuk-tuks are driving around blaring music until the early hours of the morning! It's better to choose a room away from the road if you want to sleep well.
