Best Hotels in Yerevan

The distance to the center is just about 20 mins walk, lots of groceries and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is variety, I even ordered for an egg omelette. This hotel is highly recommended in Yerevan

The loaction of the hotel is a bit far from city centre and the republic square, but supermarkets and other shops are available just if u cross the road. The receptionist on the first day of our stay was very helpful

It's a bit far from the city center, and the rooms aren't very big. I booked a room with a balcony, but the balcony was very small. On a clear day, the south-facing window offers a view of the snow-capped mountains.

I wasn't expecting that, but the Carat didn't disappoint!! It's not a long walk to the cascade! The staff is friendly! The window opens!!! The air comes in! There are hotels where you can't open the window… like the air conditioning

This isn't my first trip to Yerevan, so I knew I'd be staying at the hotel longer than before, having seen so much. I was surprised they had a spa! And I accidentally forgot to put my swimsuit on, so I relaxed there too

I didn't even take a photo of the room – everything was just like in their photos!! The room is clean, everything is nice, and still new. If they maintain it in this condition, it will last a long time

3) You need to somehow control your alarm clock; it was ringing in the middle of the night, and I turned it off by taking out the battery. It's not a big deal for me, but it might annoy some people

it ruins both the look and feel. 2) Breakfast really needs to be a buffet. let it be light, but English isn't for you. Ordering decent coffee in your room wouldn't be a bad idea either

From what I understand, the plumbing throughout the hotel is very poorly done, and when we arrived, there was a strong smell coming from the bathroom. Based on other reviews, we're not the first to encounter this issue

Excellent location right in the city center. Within walking distance to explore the center and have a nice dinner (three restaurants to choose from). Very nice room with a kitchenette. I really enjoyed the breakfast

We come early than it was possible to chek-in but stuff were polite and kind so we checked-in by 9:00 AM. Very good location to the most attractive places

the location is right next to Dalma mall which let's you stock up on groceries very easily. the wifi was the only problem. it was very good in the living area but was spotty in the bedroom

The only drawback is the inconspicuous entrance (the entrance to the building with a small sign, and the hotel lobby is on the 13th floor), which took a while to find. Overall, a great place, I recommend it

The room was huge and looked great. It is close to the circus and the Mother Armenia Monument, but not walkable to other tourist sites. One issue I had was noise isolation

The only downsides were a couple of broken lamps (so the lighting was dim) and a dead battery in the room safe. However, given the excellent price, these were minor issues. Highly recommended for the value!”

The best hotel in the center of Yerevan

This place is absolutely great in the heart of Yerevan with an amazing manager Alex! He was super friendly and even gave us a souvenir to remember our stay. I couldn't recommend enough this place!

I had a wonderful stay with my family for 4 nights. Location is excellent, in middle of the city. Room was clean and well maintained. Alex is really a nice and welcoming person. Overall it is really good experience

You don't have to worry about food until lunchtime, just enjoying the city and excursions. There were three of us: the room had a large bed and a sofa bed; the triple room was quite comfortable and available

The hotel room was very clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable, I slept very good. It was warm at all times. It's slightly far from the main attractions, but if you don't mind 20-30 min walks, it's fine.

The best thing is the breakfast. It's different every day. There's a small swimming pool for swimming. The service is friendly. It's a family hotel. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Yerevan Steps.

To sum it up: I once saw a review of this hotel where someone described their stay not 'like at a hotel,' but 'like staying with relatives. It was truly lovely to receive such care and attention from the wonderful staff

The nearest convenience store has a currency exchange machine where you can exchange US dollars and euros for AMD. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English. He provided a lot of information upon check-in

However, we walked a lot, were tired, and slept well anyway. The room was clean and had its own clean bathroom. All amenities were provided: towels, shower gels, shampoos, toothpaste and brush, and soap

The manager said we could pay extra and get a better room on the second floor. Of course, for my own convenience, I paid the extra. I think this is a scam, and that's what I fell for

Why did they even bother with such a complex renovation? They would have been better off focusing on ergonomics and good design of the room itself, but with a simpler renovation

When I asked if they could put us in a more private room without the loud neighbors or the sound of running water, and with a shared bed for a couple, they said they had a room

The better room smelled of sewage, and the ergonomics were terrible: to get to the shower, you literally had to step over the toilet! A masterstroke of engineering

At checkout, they charged us more—for bottled water at the bar, which I hadn't even realized was a paid service. The price for the bar was hidden in a drawer

The hotel was in a very good location, with a large 24/7 supermarket (had a money exchange and ATM inside) very near so we could buy bottled water, and the Republic Square was less than 10 minutes

Considering the hotel's capacity, the breakfast selection was quite substantial! A side note for winter visitors: early mornings in Yerevan can drop to nearly -10°C, but the hotel is warm enough to comfortably wear a T-shirt and shorts

There was mould around the window and on the shower grouting. The room was not very inviting with grey walls and cold white ceiling lights. There was a small refrigerator and a kettle, but no tea or coffee

There was always a stale smell. The windows could not be opened and running the ventilation fans in the ceiling made no difference. The fans were too noisy to use at night
