Good hotel with friendly staff, perfect for a stopover during a long trip. I wouldn't recommend staying here for a longer period for holiday, as it's located in the middle of the city on an industrial estate. Delicious dinner and breakfast, with various choices. It took us almost 30mins to get to Novotel from their local train station. It was -2 degrees n 8.30pm. We asked a few locals n even the staff working at the bakery where it was located. All of them gave us the wrong direction. We finally got it right after the 3rd time walking around n up n down the area for 15mins! Was looking for hotel with 2 beds and air conditioning and landed on this one. Last minute trip changes so we were left with limited options. It is an old hotel but the room was clean and the air worked well. Parking was easy with free parking as well as parking deck if free area is full.

We went to Munich to attend Oktoberfest. We stayed at Hotel Europa which is approximately 3 km from the Theresienwiese where the festival is held. There is excellent public transit in front of the hotel, but we chose to walk to and from. Hotel Europa is well appointed, very clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
