The path to the sea was breathtaking!! I really recommend it!! I want to thanks to the lifeguards from this place, they did a great job and were specialy nice with clients, a 10/10 for them

Only briefly explored whole site, looked in need of refurbishment however amazing Olympic sized pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast was quite limited but adequate

Everyday I lost things in the swimming pool and they recover everything always with a smile!. Thanks Lifeguards! You deserve a special mention!! I hope to repeat the experience here!!

Although the onsite restaurant was delicious, the staff were also kind enough to recommend other local restaurants and arrange transport to allow for some variation

The stand out of the trip however, was the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We hope to return again some day!

We could not recommend Minareto more! The room was just as advertised with gorgeous views across the water to Ortigia

The massages were amazing, and the private beaches, pool and jacuzzi meant we felt no need to leave the resort

While the breakfast was very impressive with fresh local ingredients, we were upset by our sheets having multiple stains upon arrival, strong cleaning odors, and no water being delivered to our room during turn down service

The hotel charges you for water and squeezes out everything they can get. We also requested towels while we were in the jacuzzi and they never arrived. We would recommend that you stay on the island of Ortigia instead

Basic, clean but tired and central for beach and town. Staff very helpful

The hotel is at perfect price range. The staff is friendly. Whichever I asked for, they did it with a big smile. The reszaurant is pretty good too.

And don't forget to bring cash for tourist tax. Well, I don't have many comments about this hotel because i feel comfortable and got what i need especially for solo traveling who wants to explore palermo :)

One thing about this hotel that i will definitely come back is the location, cleanliness and its right in front of the supermarket. I recommend you to take double room and its so affordable :)

The food however is great considering it’s buffet three times a day Beach great only two sun beds though per family plus some other strange inclusive drinks which are all in a plastic or cardboard

The rooms were clean and big enough. The food (during lunch and dinner) was very tasteful and replenished regularly. The campus and the beach were cleaned every day

The only improvement could be the quality of the VOI Concierge activities, we joined the Lipari/Vulcano one and it was expensive and unsatisfactory, I would suggest to future guests to check external activities not ones organised by the resort

Everything - honestly everything - was perfect! Accommodation - so clean and nice to stay in a room, luxurious view, loads of green palms and bushes in a resort and kitchen? I bet you put some killos on like we did :)

Absolutely the best hotel in Siracusa! We were upgraded to a sea view loft suite for free! Very large room, harbor view outside the window, clean bedding, luxurious breakfast, and warm service

The hotel is right by the sea, with a good location and valet parking for 15 euros a day. The service staff is very enthusiastic, but the speed is slow. The lobby is beautiful and large

However, there is a vanity and toilet on the second floor. Next time I come, I will consider staying in a hotel or B&B in the old town that is closer to the beach and has a balcony

The room service as well as the friendly reception were excellent,,, Parking was also smooth, The welcome drink was very delicious.

Lovely Hotel Right on the Beach! We stayed at Modica Beach Resort for a couple of nights in May. Very clean, quiet, and modern. Comfortable big beds, nice linens/towels. The photos resemble everything exactly

The condition of the facilities was spotless, the staff friendly and the price competitive. The only thing that was not quite up to expectations was the breakfast

I could rave about every aspect of this hotel - the design of the rooms (important as our family of four had no issues finding space for all of our luggage and personal items, yet the room was still very comfortable), the team that works at the hotel, the pool, the restaurant, the location

If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed

They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day

The only downside I would suggest is that they should consider organizing additional wine tastings on-site

Actually it's not as bad as the reviews say, it's pretty good. The hotel is right outside the train station, which is seamless and very convenient for people with luggage

This hotel is the best choice if u want to stay near the station. Its located right in front of the station

Did a quick baggage drop off today and they were simply spectacular when we came back for a bags they offer coffee for free and we were very intentive and we had a bottle of wine that we had brought back and they offered us to use our tables to sit down and dry our wineDefinitely a class act definitely not something I’m used to when you’re directly across the train station

In the morning, you will be served typical italian breakfast and I love the hospitality of the lady in this hotel. about the room is comfortable and enough to stay for 1-2 nights

Great luggage storage option near the train station. The gentleman offered us water and let us hang around the lobby while we waited for our train. Will consider this hotel for our next step.

The convergence recommendation for beach was awful!

The location is absolutely fantastic; the balcony offers stunning sunset views. There are many excellent restaurants downstairs. The hotel is bright and elegant, with attentive service

The pool area and view are lovely. Great service at the pool too with towels already on the loungers and service to your lounger. The pool food menu is very limited however

The Clou restaurant serves delicious food and has a large wine list with roof top dining and lovely ambience. Parking is difficult as it’s a restricted zone but the hotel offer valet parking for €50 per night

It was our best hotel experience in Sicily so far. The hotel is beautifully decorated with Art Deco style. I highly recommend a room with sea view because the sunset from the balcony is super romantic

Beach has chairs for a charge. Hotel is very old. Staff was good. The mattresses need updated. I believe they are from the 70’s. Could feel the springs.

This is a pleasant hotel with a big pool and dining area. Placed in a remote area and is 45mins by car from the airport

There is a stone beach 5mins walk across the road, but there is a sand beach with shops and restaurants which is much nicer 20mins drive

I particularly appreciated the professional and friendly service I was given by Lara, Sandra, Ettore and Renzo. The staff in reception, Nelly and Angela, were also very helpful

All the staffs are superstars. They are really friendly and helpful. No matter anytime, they always give us a hand.

Fantastic location right on the corner with the port of Ortigia on two sides. Fantastic breakfast, even with some home baked pastries. Breakfast terrace overlooking the port and the sea.

We were really fortunate to find a free parking spot right by the hotel where we just left the car for 3 days. Note that the hotel occupies the upper floors of the building

Very healthy breakfast with lots of chives and fresh pastries. They have a valet service to park your car when you stay. Also a small terrace roof to have breakfast or just sit. I did yoga there in the morning

It is well marked, but you have to find the 2 buzzers next to the big wooden door, and press the bottom button to get buzzed in. We loved it and would stay there again

This hotel has a family atmosphere starting from breakfast on wonderful terrace with a sea port view, very tasty fresh food and personal, that care you very personal

Fantastic place highly recommended. On Ortigia & walkable to all areas, also close to bridge to syracuse so about 12mins to bus station. Comfortable clean rooms with great modern bathroom & silent fridge

This is a review for the rooftop bar/restaurant. We have not stayed at the hotel. We saw a sign for the rooftop bar on the street and got curios. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and showed us the way up

Despite calls at 6:30 and 7 PM, and an in-person request at 8 PM, nothing was done. At 10:30 PM, I brought someone to the room—they tried adjusting it both in-room and from the lobby, with no success

The room is great, there is a terrace, an outdoor swimming pool, and the service is also very warm

Absolutely stunning! This hotel is built into the hillside, so every room offers ocean views. You can really connect with nature and greenery right from your balcony

The breakfast room is bathed in sunlight and even offers distant views of the snow-capped Mount Etna. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is great too (with several good restaurants nearby for dinner)

Of course, the downhill road can be quite a challenge for drivers

Only serve breakfast, pool was closed, TV is size or a laptop mounted on the wall and decor shows year of use with scratches and chips. Balcony is nice but could not use as no privacy

The hotel price is also moderate, offering fantastic value for money! Finally, I absolutely loved the hotel's bathrobes – the shawl collar design was so unique, haha

15h walk to the center however, they do have a bus that runs from outside every 30 mins it’s a bit confusing to use but we got the hang of it eventually (get the drop ticket app) nice pool, no crazy rush to get sunbeds, staff were lovely

The beach is very close and simply gorgeous in October: the seagrass present indicates a unpolluted sea! A must is the spa and a massage by very skilled staff

Bar is reasonably priced no more than anywhere else in town, lovely restaurant across the road. STUNNING sunset views from the pool or beach

The staff were amazing, the sea facing balcony was perfect. We really loved it. Right on the beach Only the food let this place down, not good quality and £35 euros per person for a buffet was the only option.

Also want to give a shout out to the lovely lady, Enrica from housekeeping who kept our room super clean. The location was great, lots of parking, nice pool and wonderful beach area

The shower in the room came off completely, the toilet seat was not fixed and we were left without soap in the shower. They ask for a deposit in cash for the beach towels

The only thing we missed was our own coffee maker. On the other hand we just have to go down to the lobby ask for a double espresso. Despite being located close to a busy street, we were not disturbed

One of the really good features for this hotel is there gated parking supervised by CCTV. Access to the Estrada was easy and took approximately 5 to 10 minutes

Not a good thing with this hotel it is that it is located close to several gas stations offering you an opportunity filling your tank before continuing your journey

The beach itself was a bit bleak and windswept. Buffet style breakfast was decent enough, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a good selection of fruit, pastries, cold meats etc. The evening meals were less satisfactory

The hotel itself was gated and when the gates closed behind us we were told that they wouldn't open until next morning. If thus neighborhood is safe then why the precautions? If not why were we being housed there

The breakfast is nothing special, I’m missing eggs so much. Bedrooms are big but the bathrooms are a little bit outdated. Wifi is pretty slow at least in my room. It’s a huge hotel and it has swimming pool

Stayed for 2 nights due to a Business Trip. The Hotel is really really big. I had the feeling i was the only guest in that time. I enjoyed the complete silence at the nice and quite Pool in the "backyard" of the Hotel

Large hotel with huge car park and seems out of place in its location surrounded by mainly electrical shops Modern rooms that are well maintained but need more plug sockets for modern travelling (believe hotel is 30+ years old) Recently refurbished bathroom but small cubicle on the shower itself Lovely new linen and towels but curtains definitely need replacing and didn’t pull properly, didn’t meet...

Its a beautiful 18th century building with views of Etna from the balconies. Exquisite

The location is superb. Accessibility is excellent, no matter where you go. Facilities are mediocre. For those who go out in the morning and come back late at night, it is excellent in terms of cost performance.

My wife and I spent 13 days at this hotel. The hotel is at the center of the main street in Catania. From the balcony we saw Etna spewing the lava. Our room was big, bathroom nice and clean

Excellent cheaper restaurants nearby. hmmm, resolved yourself (not easy). Very stylish once ready so I believe. Not everyone speaks Spanish, English or German though

Beautiful old hotel with fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Could do with updating and as others have said, the roof terrace drinks are over priced and the beach is fairly basic. Would stay again though.

The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back

The lunch area was a basic plywood structure, and the food was disappointing. Given how impressive the hotel is, the beach experience felt like a missed opportunity

It would be better if you choose a room facing the sea. The hotel is very close to the ancient city, a five-minute walk. There is a parking lot at the door, which is very convenient

The boat ride was enjoyable, but it seemed unusual for a hotel of this caliber to charge for it. We were expecting a pristine beach and a nice spot for lunch
