Hotels on first line in Sicily

My wife and I travel often and this is a genuinely beautiful hotel. We went during off season so we were one of the few guests there making it incredibly peaceful

The hotel decor is lovely and the room and amenities are top quality. Sara helped us constantly with restaurant recommendations and to accommodate a self check in since we were driving and had no clear arrival time

Great location. Very walkable to beach and restaurants. Street noise was a little excessive, even after midnight but not the fault of the property owner. Nice breakfast included each morning.

Wonderful stay! Such a lovely hotel with beautiful details in every room, felt truly Sicilian. Fantastic service as well, from before arriving to during our stay. The photos don't do the hotel justice - highly recommend!

Felt like there was more sweet than savory food. There was a bit of a hiccup during the check-in as there was nobody at the property, so it took us about 20 minutes just to figure out how to get the keys to get in

Beautifully designed property with the mix of the old and new, which gives the perfect vibe for the city. Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast, although with limited options was satisfying

Ok, tiziano might be a little on the far side from the city cute center, but walking is peaceful day and night, and comon, is good to walk after eating that great trapanean feast and watching the sunset on the walls of the shore

Staying in an AirBnB in Palermo currently with more facilities than this “4-star” hotel! The staff however was very nice, kind, and helpful and gave us many suggestions for places to eat in, around the hotel and in the city centre

Love this place! Staff was amazing. So communicative and helpful! They were able to get us transfers to the beach and had many recommendations. The breakfast was so yummy! Centrally located to so many great restaurants

25 minutes to beach, 10 to bus station, 15 to supermarket. Great apartment with kitchenette and bathroom

This B&B was perfect for us. I loved being so close to everything. Filipino was friendly and we felt very safe. The view from the balcony was nice and the breakfast was great!

Alessandro was an excellent host, giving us good suggestions for the local area and ensuring we were comfortable. The hotel is in a side road and there is free parking in the hotel grounds

Our sea view room had a large shady balcony, the pool and terrace are superb, and the whole property is exceptionally secure

The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing in the area and close to big supermarkets if needed. There is a selection of restaurants in Marina di Ragusa. There is a decent size pool at the property

The room was spotless clean and spacious and the view overlooking the pool was fantastic. Breakfast was very fresh and with local food

This is an excellent place to stay. Other B and B’s will have a pool and no doubt the level of facility on offer here

An excellent four star hotel with pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. The pool area was great for relaxing and the restaurant provided very good breakfasts and a fine dining evening meal.

Very nice hotel Nice, small boutique hotel. Restaurant onsite which was convenient, as there are no restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful panoramic views, overseeing Licata and the Mediterranean

The only considerations to keep in mind are that the beach is rocky and there is no nearby public transport, but these minor points did not detract from our overall enjoyment

We celebrated our wedding at Capo Campolato and it was the best decision ever! Since the first meeting, the team welcomed us and accompanied us all throughout the preperations with professionalism and kindness, even with our special requests: they handled them with care and respect

The place is magical with an amazing view, the decoration was excellent (just like we wanted) and our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was! If you are considering this venue for your wedding, do not hesitate

While morw than 10 minutes away from almost anything the Atmosphere, the rooms ans facilities made for a much needed place to relax during our stay on the island

An excellent aparthotel, away from everything, yet within easy access to Syracuse and the beach. Owner and staff are just brilliant and very helpful. Bus stop to Syracuse and Ortigia just round the corner

Great apartments, quiet location, nice pool, good breakfast and friendly owners/staff. There is nothing within walking distance so a car needed but plenty of beaches and restaurants within 15-30 minutes drive.

An oasis of serenity, Mr. Vincenzo made us feel at home. Functional and clean rooms, beautiful swimming pool, highly recommended.

So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for the rest of the day. Even if you drive, you're looking at a significant drive into town to find a normal restaurant or bar

I just read a ridiculous review where the author claims it’s dangerous (“across the street from a ghetto”), complaining that the beach smells (yes, like seaweed), expensive ( purely subjective of course but how many hotels in the world offer magnificent terrace views for 175 a night?), and, stupidest of all, complaining that all she could watch was Italian television! She says she didn’t feel safe...

I found the hotel very clean, the private beach was quiet and wasn't dirty as described by some travellers. Perhaps it's because October is not peak time. The hotel's minibus shuttle bus service is useful

Punta Tipa is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing sea view. Reception is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a classic room which was more than adequate, nice and spacious, big bathroom as well

Food was good but a little on the expensive side. Good panoramic view from the hotel's private beach, relaxing on deck chairs or comfy sofas

It's walkable from the hotel to Trapani town centre, along the beach, though it's a little far for me

Hotel is beside the busy main road, in the middle of nowhere. Pretty average dinner the seared tuna at €18 was overcooked and not very flavourful. Restaurant staff efficient but not overly friendly

This hotel building, carved into the stone, survived the 1693 earthquake and is over seven hundred years old. Josepi, on his second day at work, was an enormous help in parking my car, which was a midsize MG SUV

We loved this hotel! Traditional and homely, friendly staff, really enjoyed our stay. Lovely buffet breakfast, pool, and views. Beach at Giardini Naxos is so nice! Got a boat trip from there too

We had a superior sea facing room which was okay with a nice view but would have appreciated a couple of comfy chairs and some drinks in the fridge and milk for tea & coffee

This property is beautifully situated and I really felt I was in Sicily! It’s quaint and the staff is very helpful, especially the woman who set up breakfast, Georgina? She also made/ brought lunch on the veranda

Views from the hotel and the surrounding area are just fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking tricky like most of Italy. Bed and pillows ok but not great

Incredible agriturismo with beautiful architecture, comfortable rooms, lovely pool to hang out by, and some of the best foods we’ve had in Sicily.

Perfect stay at this beautiful agriturismo in Scopello Sicily. you will not be disappointed - the location is perfect - walking distance to the small village of Scopello and to the market and restaurant

Beautiful place to stay, Very quiet and relaxing. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Bar and pool area are also great and it is a 10 minute walk into the main part of the island which include some amazing restaurants and bars. Can’t recommend enough, you will not be disappointed

Great location (short, easy walk into town), helpful staff (they arranged a shuttle to collect us from the port and a taxi to go to our next location), good setup for travelling with a child, lovely pool, delicious croissants and coffee for breakfast, and nice private balconies

The apartments are cleaned everyday so you have the best of both world with the space and ability to cook of the apartment but the daily tidy up of a hotel

Great setting. At 10 min walk from the center of Favignana. Bike available. Great space with kitchen and everything for cooking, eating during you stay.

Friebdly staff, the lady on reception was very nove abd helpful, she also did the breakfasts service, breakfast had good options for being included. The sunloungers being included at nearvy beach area was really good

ok hotel accross the beach Cefalu The hotel feels outdated for the price. There’s no pool on-site—you have to walk about 100 meters to a nearby beach club, which was closed when we arrived and is quite small

4* Hotel which is a little outdated, but rooms are clean; breakfast is very nice (typical Sicilian food - fresh food and orange juice); free parking; nice location along the boardwalk (it takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the center); free sun beds at the beach

Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Location was the best! Walking distance to everything! Access to pool and beach clubs was a very nice bonus surprise

Reception didn’t provide the Wi-Fi password or mention the towels for the beach club, so we had to return to the front desk to get them. Breakfast was okay, but it really should be included in the room rate

The location is right on the beach with chairs and an umbrella you can rent and it is in the heart of town allowing you to walk everywhere! The staff is incredible and extremely helpful

Solid, though for this price ($350 per room off-season for a triple) not spectacular. Alex at the front desk is awesome

Nice hotel, way overpriced for what it offers. The rooms are fine, and the location is great (beachfront). The amenities are good, but everything is an additional fee. It doesn’t match the outrageous prices.

We do not speak Italian, and everyone at the hotel could not have been more accommodating. We would absolutely return, and would recommend to anyone traveling to San Vito lo Capo!

All staff were friendly, professional and went above and beyond for our children, the location was amazing and the food and drinks were excellent

The hotel keeps it 90s flavour, which is kind of cool. Breakfast and dinner was all right, stuff is really friendly. The best thing is the location, just at the beach at the calm site of Giardini Naxos

We stayed last week in this hotel, honestly, given the bad reviews, I asked to see the room first, the very kind lady at the reception showed it to me with a lot of patience, the hotel is not new but the location, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff are unparalleled, we returned this weekend too, and we will return for the next ones

Very nice hotel, dinner was good! Would be nice if they found a solution to reduce the number of flies at the swimming pool.

The room was clean and roomy and the breakfast had a lot of choices, but what impressed me the most was the service especially when I called the hotel when my rental car broke down two hours away and they arranged for a car to pick me up

Francesco and his staff were incredibly kind and helpful a true gentleman with lots of knowledge of the town. We really made some great friends from this holiday and we will definitely holiday again at Kalaonda

The staff by the pool were very loud and allowed no peaceful stay as the red haired lady would shout through the microphone to people who stood 2 metres away from her

Very nice, fun guaranteed! The room is very nice, the only flaw is that the doors open easily and it is a bit dangerous. In the restaurant you can eat very well, the same thing as in the pizzeria. I love this place

You could always change your beach towels, which was very convenient. The hotel provided a beach bag right away and packed it, which was definitely a plus

Breakfast actually has a sea view, right in front of it, not the forced photos on social media that are disappointing in reality. Awesome! There's plenty to eat, with a variety of sweets

It was a clean room. The shower was good. The check-in was easy. The picture of the hot tub or pool that’s on the roof is not free. It’s $25..

Beautiful garden, pool with free towels, private beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas. Near many restaurants, bus stop to Palermo. Rooms towards the sea with a balcony and much better than on the road

Friendly, well-organised with a swimming pool. Rooms very spacious and clean as are the bathrooms. 20 m from one of the most beautiful beaches of Italy where the sea is crystal clear.

Pool was unfortunately empty of water, so we had to get vouchers for the private beach daily

Its ok but its rather old and new combined. Room with seasight and balcony is very nice and clean. However the staff could use some workshop about how to be more helpfull and friendly towards guests

I stayed here for a few days' vacation. The location is excellent, about a kilometer from the Mongiove beach, which is very large and well-equipped. The apartments are clean and well-organized

The indoor pool is convenient

Everything was really welcoming, swimming pool, restaurant, children's play area! The closest beach is less than 5 minutes away by car (among the most beautiful we have visited in the area! Mongiove)

Perfectly located, a few minutes from the motorway and a five minute drive to a quiet beach at Mongiove. The staff are extremely helpful and polite

My partner and I had a great time! Very kind staff and high quality accommodation: clean, quiet (at least in September), spacious, equipped with the comforts needed for a seaside holiday

The town of Patti (both Patti marina and Patti vecchia on the hill) are also 5 minutes away and very suggestive. 10 minutes from there another splendid town and beach (Tindari)
