Modern, comfortable, and clean hotel. Rooms are warm also in winter. Very spacious rooms. Family room with 4 beds is on the ground floor with included small garden, but facing the road side. Nice bar is on the top floor, and also a swimming pool. Breakfast is extensive, everything is available. A few steps from the hotel to the beach. Swimming pools are closed during the winter time.

As previously mentioned based on our own experiences this is definitely not 5 stars probably 3/4 stars. Service not brilliant however room ok, pool area lovely. Breakfast was madness. Waited ages for a coffee. A lot of choice but not 5 stars.

The beds are extremely hard, like really hard. The room amenities are good better than NH Central Rome and the overall room was better as well. Right next to the US consulate so that was nice to see. Rooftop was closed :/ Bar servers could be a little more friendly and attentive.

We had a bad check-in experience, having to equity for 2 hours before being able to get to our rooms because from 1pm to 3pm there is no one to welcome you. We spent two wonderful weeks at La Melosa Resort and SPA. Our room with a private garden was lovely, and we truly enjoyed the lush greenery and beautifully maintained outdoor areas. I like the high room temperature in this hotel. Esp in winter, it’s crucial to stay warm and comfy. I don’t like that there’s no kettle in the rooms. To use boiled water (for drinking or tea), you have to pay 1.00 euro per fill. For a 4-star hotel, it’s a bit disappointing. If the electricity system in the old building can’t handle kettles, then offer hot water downstairs for free.

This hotel bills itself as a 4 star which it most definitely is not. We stayed in an annexe - Casa Bianca off the main villa which looks more like a 60s youth detention centre than a hotel and is furnished as such. Whilst we were there there were problems with the water which meant there was no running water in the taps or the toilets did not flush - and no hint of an apology from the hotel staff....

There are cockroaches in the room, the bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work at all, and we informed the staff on the first day, but they still ignored it. Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly. It’s a hollow hotel that’s all show, pretending to be luxurious.

There are so many hotels in Florence, avoid this one if possible! Chinese tourists, please beware! Room safety is not guaranteed! We found used cigarettes when we returned to the hotel. The cleaning staff don't smoke. Where did the cigarettes come from? We don't smoke ourselves. We can't rule out whether someone entered the room.

Nice location ! this vintage hotel does have style . The decoration does remind you the good old bygone days. The room is on the small side but if you happen to have a Seaview room, the view is quite impressive. The breakfast buffet is quite spectacular with many varieties. I enjoy my stay.

Lovely Absolutely fantastic. Lovely staff. Great food. Fantastic pool and pool bar. Location is great. Shops and restaurants opposite hotel. Bicycles for hire. Near train station.

Beautiful building. Great front desk staff who spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Restaurant staff also efficient. Our room was spacious and house keeping always kept room immaculately clean. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a fabulous stay in Viareggio.
