Good choice for a work stop in Livorno. The staff were very kind and helpful. The property itself is average.
A very comfortable bed, the shower water pressure was weak, and water leaked all over the place. The receptionist was average. The location was convenient for catching a train. There's a huge coop nearby which was awesome. No kettle in the room which was annoying..

Absolutely wonderful Beautiful location fabulous hotel. Excellent staff breakfast was over the top! Absolutely wonderful.
My partner and I stayed at Argentario for a couple of days and had a really enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself has a beautiful and distinctive design that made the stay feel special. The pool area was large and comfortable, and we liked that it never felt crowded, there was always plenty of space to relax. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with...
After a busy week in the Montepulciano area of Tuscany (incredible), we stayed for several days at the Argentario Resort, and it was perfect in many ways. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, and have everything necessary to completely relax. The property is safe, well taken care of, and has a great spa and exercise area with both indoor and outdoor pools. The breakfast buffet is great with good...
We stayed here before a cruise leaving from Civitacchia. I was hesitant at first because of other reviews. I'm happy we did. We were there the week before the Italian open and could see all the work they were doing to prepare. The staff was amazing with over the top service. The staff at the desk knew us by name and made sure we were enjoying our stay. They arranged transportation from the airport...
The resort is set between the rolling Maremma hills and the Tyrrhenian coast, nestled into the landscape as though it has always belonged there. Its architecture rises with intention, chic yet modest, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Every detail is sleek, sustainable, and utterly unpretentious. From the reclaimed wood furniture to the discreetly integrated photovoltaic panels, the suite speaks...
The most attentive staff and helpful service. They do not miss any tiny detail in making your stay special. The location is peaceful but would not be a great base to visit larger Italian cities. The golfers in our group raved about the golf course. The food was so good. Ask them to book you at the Il Quinto Winery nearby!

Beautiful, super convenient. We'll definitely come back.
The service was amazing, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was great with the view of the river at the front of the hotel however, I bit hard to reach by public transport if you got big luggage
Clean, comfortable room/beds. Great location. Staff was very, very attentive. Very good breakfast. A special shout out to Concierge Extraordinaire Walter, who helped us out way beyond what I expected! I
Wonderful and clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. 25 minute or less walk to major sites. Was nice to feel at the edge of the city for less noise and view of the river but still walkable to everything.
Wonderful hotel. Incredible views from the huge rooftop bar/pool deck. Wonderful breakfast buffet with many hot and cold options. Main level bar is beautiful and the seating areas are both well-appointed and comfortable. Both bars offer gratis snacks. View of the river Arno, Piazza el Michelangelo and more from our room window were stunning. You can literally walk almost anywhere in the city from...
10/10 … besides the bed and pillows (2/10) I’m from the USA - the hotel was amazing! Staff and cleanliness were top notch. The rooftop! Location! All great. But the bed and pillows ( as most are in Europe - at least in my experience ) were not comfortable at all. I would give them a 2/10.

Doesn’t feel like a 4 star property. The hotel is not modern and the beds need a makeover. Breakfast is not bad.
It was an stay of two nights at Park castiglion with 30 persons as Indian tour group. Place is quite normal. It being on hilly area quite cold in May specially in late evening and mornings. There are two lifts one very small and other slightly bigger. We all were allotted rooms on first floor so mostly had to use stare case. Room is very normal. At times it stinks as not open cor quite some time. Breakfast...
A good-quality hotel in a convenient location for visiting Castiglion Fiorentino and, thanks to its proximity to the train station, with good connections to Arezzo. Excellent cleanliness and breakfast service. Helpful and courteous staff. Ample free parking.
We stayed at this hotel on a trip through Italy for two nights and found it very suitable for our needs: the bathroom is well equipped, everything is clean, and the breakfast is adequate. It is suitable for a short stay. We came from Pisa and explore Rome from here. As we were on a group tour from india they served Indian dinner. That was ok. Check-in and check-out was fast and uncomplicated.
The hotel is situated in a village with 10 century castle Castiglion Fiorentino in walkable distance. The locality is very good. The rooms are neat and clean. I had dinner from there and they provided kerala porotta like chapathi and veg kofta curry. Staff are friendly.
The staff was very friendly and especially in the reception and the service in the breakfast was very kind and friendly as well!! The cleaning was perfect everything was clean and smelled beautiful as well!! It's a must go place for anyone looking for a hotel to provide them with luxury as well as comfort and top quality service !!

Very nice and well managed hotel
We stayed for a week in October 2025 on a half board basis. Booked through a tour company. Room was very large with a terrace, twin beds, 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, shower and separate bath in the bathroom. Maybe a wee bit tired but a fantastic room and excellent value. The hotel has inside and outside pools, we sat by the pool a couple of days but as we were touring, no real time but very nice...
This is probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the region if not the country, immersed in tranquil surroundings and beautiful views of the hill top castle town. Upon entering, I was transported to another time. The hotel is quite old and has maintained its original essence while keeping up with renovations to serve guests in modern times. The staff at the hotel is amazing from the moment you pull up to the door. I would’ve loved to stay longer it was such a beautiful experience. A special shout out to Marina who makes every guest feel special. The hotel was beautiful, the beach club is phenomenal. Great people, great property.
We loved our stay at La Roqqa! It was such a treat. Every staff member we spoke to was extremely accommodating and friendly. The space itself felt luxurious but comforting, and we joked that if we could we’d redesign our bathroom at home to be just like the one in our room. Really can’t wait to go back and have another relaxed, elegant stay.
We have previously enjoyed holidays in Tuscany’s Monte Argentario, but this was our first time in La Roqqa. As always in a new location there is inevitably an initial element of doubt, but we needn’t have worried. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed, cosseted, supported and made to feel a very special part of the La Roqqa family. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure that we had the very best...
what a hotel ! the location , the beach club , everything ! but what sets this apart is the staff.. they are amazing ! so friendly , helpful , extraordinary service ! a special mention to Marica and Oiletta on reception , they are so lovely ! and also Carlo at the beach club , he made my friend and my day !
We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! The staff was unbelievable. So attentive and helpful. They truly went above and beyond. The perfect beach club & dining experiences. So close to everything. We will definitely be back!
Stayed at La Roqqa with my fiancée, which was an absolute pleasure all round. Fantastic views, impeccable service, amazing drinks and food combined with excellent furnished facilities couldn’t result in anything else than a five star experience. Will definitely return again.

We stayed in that hotel for a week with our two children. This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. The plus are clearly the beach and the swimming pool. The beach is extremely nice with beautiful pine trees and a very nice restaurant in some kind of a hut (the beach area is protected and it seems difficult/impossible to put uggly buildings on this sea shore). The rooms are nice and the main...
I had a nice stay although I prefere old historical buildings. But surprisingly I found some old rustic pieces of furniture on the halls of the hotel and I also liked pictures of old ships on the walls. The check in was smooth and I got the room with a nice terrace and a view on the garden with pool. Room was spacious, nice decorated, with a welcome plate of fruits and cakes. Bathroom was also big...
A memorable stay at the Gallia Palace. Charming hotel of character, which stands out from the often cold and standardized tone of large hotels, great service. Spacious and very pleasant rooms. Absolutely up to expectations also the private beach club, to enjoy the...
This is a Relais & Chateau, and the staff is as responsive as this expects. Rooms are nice if a bit dated. Pool area is good. Spa has a whirlpool, jacuzzi, and wet & dry saunas available on request but monitored to ensure they’re not too busy. Dining was excellent. I am celiac/gluten-free and staff ensured I was kept safe. Beach facility is a short shuttle ride (on request) from the hotel. All is...
What it is not--If you are looking for pre-Roman, very cute town with narrow winding streets, overlooking the Mediterrean, with numerous restarants and lovely churches such as Positano (think Siranuse) or, on a smaller scale, Portofino (think Splendido), Gallia Palace is not for you. What it is--a lovely hotel pearched above the Mediterrean with a beach club right on the beach. It is a fantastic...
The hotel is a bit dated but they have paid excellent attention to updates. It felt a bit like being in the islands (Hawaii, Bermuda, Nevis) where the grand spots are out of touch but we’ll maintained and salt and sand are sort of fixtures. Its in the middle of the highway. Worked perfectly for me. If you dont have a car its difficult location.
Aside from the location, which is a bit further from the city center, the hotel is really great. It's outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) and further from the center. The room was very large and comfortable, and the hotel was clean and smelled nice. Breakfast and the staff were attentive. I recommend it.
Easy and free parking. The room was spacious and bright with full amenities. The price was cheap, but there was a city tax of 4 euros per person per day. The breakfast has been getting worse; there used to be yogurt, but now it's gone. The scrambled eggs didn't look appetizing either. Breakfast needs improvement.
Hotel is better then some people thinking. Main loby, restaurant and 6th floor where I stay looks like after renovation one ore maybe two years ago. I had 2 or 3 mosquitos in my room, but there was repelent to plug in. Breakfast was basic but OK and coffee from bar was excellent 👌
very good hotel near the airport with private free parking for customers
Good location and price. Not walkable to public transit. Airport Shuttle costs 28€ and must be reserved the day before. We ended up waking up early and were stuck waiting in the lobby for 30-45 min. Front desk would not cancel/reschedule shuttle. I’d advise to just use a taxi.

This hotel is the real deal. Everything you could ever want in a resort - beautiful rooms, spa, delicious breakfast, and the most incredible staff. We stayed here for two nights of our honeymoon and cannot recommend it enough. Just 10 minutes from Castiglione delle Pescaia if you want to explore downtown, or 30 minutes from Cala Violina boat tour, we had the absolute best time and can't wait to return

Everything was okay, and the location was okay too :)
This hotel is only four-star?! Is this inflated star rating to help the Italian government collect more city taxes?!
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, which wasn't too surprising since we were a couple of hours before their check in time. The desk clerk -- pleasant and helpful -- suggested a restaurant that we could walk to, and stored our luggage for us. We had a nice Florentine pizza and headed back. The location of this hotel is spot on. There is a great restaurant across the street, and one of the main squares is less than a minute away. It was not good that the shower room was flooded. The light in the bathroom did not work, which was a problem. The water was sometimes cloudy. If I were to be even more greedy, I would have liked to have a USB port in the room.
Hotel is well located in central Florence with easy access to all major attractions/areas of interest. The room was spacious with a recently renovated bathroom, which was appreciated. The hot breakfast included in the rate was better than expected and utilized daily before heading out. I stayed here for a week as part of a group tour holiday. Apart from the excellent location, close to the town centre in one direction and the funicular in the other, I would not choose to stay in this hotel again. The rooms are clean but basic. I can see why this hotel gets mixed reviews. Pros: well located including close to the train station, clean and comfortable with friendly staff.
