Great location, close to the train station. Good breakfast, but a bit on the simple side. Room had a nice size and was overall pretty clean. AC was good and it had a mini refrigerator and a nice TV. Bathroom is quite small, but it's manageable. WiFi was quite good also.

Nice comfortable room with AC and a private balcony overlooking the street out front. Can't be skinny enough to be able to take a shower and close the shower, so just resign yourself to spraying a bit of water and put one of the bidet towels on the floor to soak it up and you'll be ok. The hotel was pretty old and the room was pretty small. The room was okay clean and there we're no issues of any sort of bugs/bedbugs. Breakfast and wifi were included. The location was excellent though. Only a 7 minute walk to the Doumo and about a 12 minute walk to the bridge.

My daughter and I stayed here in October 2025, and for whatever reason (two women travelling together?), they put us in a terrible, small room on the ground floor, with a window that opened onto a dingy street — no terrace or balcony. I like the high room temperature in this hotel. Esp in winter, it’s crucial to stay warm and comfy. I don’t like that there’s no kettle in the rooms. To use boiled water (for drinking or tea), you have to pay 1.00 euro per fill. For a 4-star hotel, it’s a bit disappointing. If the electricity system in the old building can’t handle kettles, then offer hot water downstairs for free.

The hotel bathroom was leaking, and after taking a shower, the water almost gushed out of the bathroom.

It is very close to the train station and the transportation is convenient. There is a vegetable market next to it, the fruits are quite fresh and the prices are affordable. We took a taxi when we went out, and tried the subway when we came back, and found it was also very good.

The room is quite warmly decorated, and the hotel is in a very good location. You can reach famous attractions such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore within walking distance. The most important thing is that the front desk staff are very kind and will actively help with all kinds of problems. I will stay there next time when I return to Florence. This is the second time we have stayed at the Minerva Palace. This hotel is classic that is well run, very clean and in a great location. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We would stay here again when we come back to Montecatini. Richard B.

The hotel room is spacious as compared to the other parts of italy. However, we were given the room at level 1 and it’s relatively noisy due to the train, tram and people at the open carpark. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from the S.M.N florence train station. There are many hotel nearer to the train station as compared to this if that’s the main concern.

I had the most amazing trip here. The only issue I have is we didn’t stay long enough! The food was out of this world, the wine and wine tasting were fabulous, the spa was luxurious. The location is very good, very convenient to several attractions, the bathroom is large and clean.

The room was outdated, with lots of dust, especially on the baseboards. The sheets were dragging on the floor, making it unhygienic because it was easy to step on them, even with shoes on. The TV was uncomfortable to watch. Only two bottles of water in the fridge, no kettle... the bathroom had broken tiles, a bathtub with a shower head on the uneven side of the tub, making it very dangerous and uncomfortable...

Hotel location is good, only 12 minutes from train station and within walking distance to other main sites. It is a super clean boutique hotel with a small garden inside which highlights it's attractiveness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although my room was small and austere, the included breakfast on this beautiful terrace garden more than compensated.
