Accepting we were a walking group the dinners were not great,signs everywhere at breakfast to stop us filling our water bottle or even taking a piece of fruit.Tinned fruit at breakfast, good selection of cakes and other stuff.Fir walkers you look forward to a good dinner but this wasn't the case at this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Safe neighborhood and quiet.

The spa hydrotherapy was a little weak and the water seemed a little dirty. Hot tub had very weak jets. The steam room was great.

This hotel was a fantastic find for my independent trip to Italy. It's not far from the central station, and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the Duomo – a real oasis of calm in the city. It's also right next to Dante's House. Breakfast was excellent.

A fantastic two-night stay at Starhotels. Perfect for our road trip with free parking and a great location. The room was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly—highly satisfied!

The hotel was well positioned outside the hustle and bustle of central Florence. We were travelling by train, so having the tram stop just across the road was very convenient. The room was a good size, the pillows wonderful and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

We spent our honeymoon here as we were married in San Miniato. The staff was wonderful especially Laura! There was a slight issue with our room, not only were they considerate, they upgraded our room and sent a gift to our room complimentary once hearing about our wedding. We will definitely make this a priority to our next visit!

Good value for money for a 5 stat

I recently stayed at this spa and, unfortunately, the experience didn't meet my expectations due to several issues. First, the room I was assigned didn't have air conditioning, a significant inconvenience for me, as I suffer from the heat even at moderate temperatures (around 22 degrees Celsius). Furthermore, the lack of an extractor fan in the bathroom caused an unbearable buildup of steam and heat...

The outside pool area was dirty, the chair cushions are mold and mildew stained and the area and pool was not clean . I went to the pool 2 days and both days were so bad I could not use the pool. All the indoor areas are extremely clean and well maintained

The hotel is very close to the train station. We didn't take a taxi when we arrived, so we walked for over ten minutes along the cobblestone road with our luggage. The hotel is next to a small square and not far from a bridge. The city isn't large, so getting around is easy. The food was astounding: a tagliere with local produce to start, a pigeon with vegetable caponata and a mixed grill with grilled radicchio and pumpkin {bitter and sweet}, a fragola grape sorbetto to finish. In our 5 days there. First of all the receptionist. She didn't show any interest in explaining how to get to our room, she didn't even give us the most basic thing used in the hotel, which is the band to get into the pools, such a pity for a face of the hotel. Check-in is usually at 2 p.m., but when you get there, be sure that you're not hungry because only the bar is open, fwith poor tiny choices...

My wife and I recently spent a week at this venue. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially David at the small bar. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The only missing touches were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and an English speaking News Channel on the TV. Riva del Sole is a wonderful place to stay, with guests of all ages. There’s room and activities for everyone, and enough land and space that it never feels crowded. The hotel buildings nestle into the surrounding pine woods and greenery, while on the beach the sea views are lovely. All staff are friendly and helpful. Upon entering, I was transported to another time. The hotel is quite old and has maintained its original essence while keeping up with renovations to serve guests in modern times.
