Kyoto, 371 Shinmachi dori Rokkaku-cho, Nakagyo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I traveled with my parents and booked a twin room and a double room. The overall space was a bit small, especially the twin room, which wasn't much bigger than the double room. This made it difficult to open a 34-inch suitcase. The hotel also didn't have a large public bath for soaking. The location, however, was quite convenient – a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, about a five-minute walk...
overall aesthetic, affordable place to be in kyoto. near several hotspots like kyoto station (a subway ride away), gion area. i find buses around this area to be very convenient to travel around kyoto. room was subjectively huge compared to the price and staff was extremely hospitable
The rooms aren't huge, but we booked two standard rooms for our family of four. They were very clean, and we appreciated the daily towel changes and room tidying. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!
Excellent hotel! The surrounding area is packed with great little shops. It's only about 400 meters from a 7-Eleven. You'll find so many izakayas, bakeries, coffee shops, and bistros – you'll be spoiled for choice! Absolutely perfect, I'll definitely be staying here again.
A fantastic experience! It's quiet and clean, with convenient laundry facilities and vending machines. The hotel is just a 4-block walk from Karasuma Station, and complimentary coffee and tea are available in the afternoon.
Absolutely fantastic in every single way. Couldn't fault a thing. Five stars!

The hotel is nice and clean, but the rooms are really small. If you don't mind small rooms then it's alright. The breakfast bento box is nice.
Everything was good. I would have preffered a more japanese breakfast tho. Onsen was clean and with a nice view. The room was quiet and spacious for one person. I would have liked to stay another night to enjoy it to the fullest. The only negative was that the shower was very small. However if you use the onsen thats no issue.
The hotel is great, close to attractions, and the breakfast, served in a bento box, was quite good.
The location is a hike to be sure. The stuff is friendly and kind. However, the price is a bit high for the off season. I still don’t understand how they made my room look larger than it was. Not very large rooms. The tub was great for a soak after all the walking you will be doing. #kyotolimp.
The hotel lobby has plenty of seating and features a large collection of comic books, which is fantastic for comic lovers. The rooms are a bit small and lack a desk, which might be inconvenient for business travelers who need to work, but they can always use the lobby. The lobby also offers various hot and cold beverages, which is a nice touch. The only downside was that the showerhead couldn't be...
I stayed here twice, both times it was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. The location is super convenient with a shopping street and convenience stores downstairs. It's also really close to the Nijo-jo Mae subway station and Nijo JR station, and the bus stop is just a few steps away, making it perfect for me.

Excellent budget hotel. The price for the room was very affordable and the service we received was great.
Location is very convenient and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Grocery shops, cafes, places to have a walk to and the metro stations near by.
Be ready to check in only after 16:00

Excellent option for family trip, the room was huge! We use the laundry, they have 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. The staff was good and help us send the luggage to the next hotel. Will come back
The room was spotless. Although the location is a bit far from the subway station, it's very quiet as it's in a residential area, and the space is quite large. The front desk staff were also very polite. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioner was positioned right above the bed, and having the heat blowing directly on me made it a bit difficult to sleep. Everything else was perfect.
Located on Shijo, about a 700-meter walk from the shopping district, the room had plenty of beds, making it great for group trips and families. I'd suggest not putting frosted film on the windows, even if the view isn't great. Being able to see outside makes the room feel less confined. We had a funny, careless incident during checkout. We accidentally packed the room's mobile phone into our luggage...
The room was definitely spacious, at 60 square meters, it easily trumps most Japanese hotels. The two tables were also really convenient for placing items and dining. The location is fairly convenient; you do have to walk a bit to the subway, but it's worth it for the price.
Great place for the family, huge apartment with enough space. Service is awesome 🤩
MIMARU is a top-notch hotel chain with locations across Japan, always a reliable choice. I've personally stayed at their Akasaka (Tokyo), Nihonbashi (Tokyo), and another branch in Kyoto. Highly satisfied, absolutely flawless.

well, i mistakenly choose the smoking room which made me feel very uncomfortable whole night. It's my fault, I don't blame, but the ventilation is sooooo bad that I could always smell the smoking from my next-door neighbor. Others were ok. If you don't mind it's a bit old and you would just stay for a night, this is a good choice.
Good value for money The hotel is located right in the city make is easy to travel around. The check-in process efficient, The bed was comfortable although the room was a bit small. Overall a nice place to stay
🙏 Thank you 🙏
If you are going to visit Lake Biwa or Hikone Castle, staying at Reiah Hotel Otsu Ishiyama is very convenient for transportation and the price is much more affordable than hotels in Kyoto. The hotel breakfast is good and freshly ground coffee is available all day.
The room was very comfortable and large, and we were able to open our two 28-inch suitcases. It was great that we chose to live in Ishiyama this time. In the morning, we walked along the Seta River to Ishiyama Temple. The scenery was beautiful. The small town in Japan was very quiet and comfortable.
I stayed near their own factory, and although the facilities are old, they were dusty and hairy and in poor condition.
Other than that, it was normal.
The hotel is in a great location, just a 2-minute walk from Ishiyama JR Station. It is also very convenient to eat around, with many choices. Although the hotel rooms are a bit small and the facilities are a bit old, the service attitude is good and the hotel is clean. There is free tea and coffee in the lobby, and cleaning supplies need to be picked up by yourself. Luggage storage is provided. In...

A good hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast is good + some evening attractions included - see the attachment:)
What's great is that the price is reasonable even with breakfast included. Moreover, the services are excellent, including alcohol-free options and a private large public bath (reservations required), so I highly recommend it. The rooms, the large public bath on the first floor, and the restaurant are all very clean.
It's close to Kyoto Station, and there's an Aeon Mall across the street. The complimentary services were excellent. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
The room is compact, but it's new, so it's clean and very comfortable. The free services are plentiful and made the stay very pleasant. I appreciated the large public bath (reservation required, first-come, first-served), the late-night chazuke (rice with tea), and the free drink service (alcohol available at certain times). Both the in-room unit bath and the public bath have rinse-in shampoo, so if...
This is a decent hotel with a convenient location near the train station. I'm sure it's very popular with Japanese tourists—we see many new guests every day. Good for Budget 10-13k Yen
Location was very handy for bus routes. The market at the Toji temple grounds was great.
Washing machine was nice. Staff were very helpful.
Staff gave us additional futons.
I reserved my room through airbnb, so it went easy and smooth. Overall I love staying in this place, it offers many great benefits. The price is also affordable, good location, and complete amenities. The owner also responsive to our chat. Highly recommended.
Our room was fantastic, so much bigger than expected. You get your own washing machine in your room which was so helpful to us. Friendly staff!
The location was absolutely fabulous and close to the main part of Fukuoka. The room was extremely clean and even had a washing machine! The hotel is also across from a really delicious bread store, which I highly recommend!
Conveniently located close to Kyoto Station, with options to walk or take the train. A number of food options nearby, even a supermarket for those who wish to do their own cooking or just shop. It's about a 5-minute walk from Takashimaya, making it very convenient to get to Osaka by bus. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you can buy some bread nearby. There's also a microwave in the room. Overall, it's a good choice.
The location is great, directly facing the Kamogawa River. There are many restaurants just outside. The service is also very good, and champagne was given as a gift. The service staff all speak good English and are very nice. The room is clean and large, very suitable for our family of three.

The hotel is in a great location, quiet in a busy area, and you can enjoy the view of Kamogawa River from your room. The hotel has complete facilities, most importantly, a washing machine and dryer, which makes washing clothes very convenient.
The staff is very helpful, requesting help with reservations, receiving couriers is no problem.
The room is located at the electric view port, but very quiet, cleaning in place E-mai asked questions and responded quickly.
Amazing luxury hotel in the best possible location south of Pontocho and across the bridge from Gion. Experience was perfect. Unfortunately, we arrived later in the afternoon at 5pm, and wasnt able to take advantage of most of the facilities.
Efficient and friendly reception. Comfortable, clean and spacious room with in room onsen at the right temperature . Both dinner and buffet breakfast were tasty and varied. Staff at restaurant were efficient and provided good service.
Room was very good. Public onsen was ok; the water was not as hot and as original. Breakfast selection was ok, can be better and have more selection other than seafood. Dinner was superb! The only thing was lacking is the location. There was nothing else around the hotel. 2 day stay was more than enough. There were no other facilities or events than onsen bath, foot/hand bath, happy hours.

The food was delicious. The room had a slight odor, and I was bothered by how clearly I could hear sounds from the hallway (there was a gap under the door).
The place was great, very try clean and comfortable stay. There are no complaints during the entire stay.
Be sure to stay a couple of days and experience this wonderful place. The setting is very beautiful and traditional.
The hotel is located about ten minutes' walk from the tram station. The environment is quiet, the scenery is pleasant, the layout is very Japanese, the breakfast and food taste good, the person in charge is very friendly, there is a 24-hour supermarket three minutes away, and the price is not expensive.
The room facilities are good, with Japanese tatami. The bathroom, washroom, and toilet are separated, but not cramped (if not, the space would be very large).
The breakfast was a bit unexpected (first time traveling in Japan), it was a full salty breakfast, sashimi, soup, etc. (with a small dessert). My 10-year-old child is not used to such a breakfast, and I am not used to eating sashimi in the morning...

I stayed in a twin bedroom for one night. The room was new and clean. Compared to other hotels in the same location, the price was cheaper. The front desk service is so impressively great. Only few mintues walk from the station. Quiet and clean.
