Me and a friend stayed for two nights as we wanted to explore areas of the Kansai region. It was such a nice experience! We didn’t end up trying the public baths, so I can’t comment on that, but the room itself and the futons were great ^^ When I think walkable, it may be different to someone else’s walkable, but transport (bus) is okay to get around— it is pretty busy though so take at your own caution...

It's a bit of a walk from Karasuma Oike subway station. There's a small supermarket nearby, and a Family Mart and 7-Eleven a little further down the road. The room layout is a bit odd; it could have had more space, but the strange design makes it feel smaller than it is.

Booked a few nights here last minute when we didnt enjoy our current hotel. Friendly staff and the room was ready even though it was a same day arrival. Breakfast buffet is very generous in the morning with western and Japanese options. In the afternoon they have a sort of tea time as well where you can grab a drink, great if you think of passing by the hotel.

Easily the best hotel we have stayed in Japan. Servic is great and room is clean. They even have matcha counter at the common area. Our favourite is the location. It's within walking distance from metro station and bus station. There's also a big supermarket just next door (you can see a lot of locals get their grocery there. Cheap sushi 🤤)

The carpet or plastic-like flooring at the front of the toilet bowl area has unknown stains embedded in it. There is no water supply in the area for cleaning, and the condition is not hygienic.

The receptionist was very friendly and inviting. There was a smoking room on the top floor and the rooms were well kept and clean. Bathroom came well equipped with all the necessasities and if needed, you can take slippers, robes, combs, hair ties, and even body lotions before entering your room. The service was friendly and fun every step of the way. They had fun sakura themed bingo and an infant play space in the common area. My kids (7 and 13) loved the bunks. I made a reservation for Deluxe one bed room Japanese apartment. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. There was a washing machine in the room. The hotel is located in a residential area, with a FamilyMart nearby. Although the hotel does not have its own parking, there is a paid parking lot located close to the hotel. Overall, it is  comfortable and convenient.

Experience was fantastic. Front desk were very friendly and helpful especially Arisa and Thinh. They both relentlessly helped to answer any queries and even cut short meal time to help. Both can speak more than one language. Made the stay so enjoyable and felt very well taken care of.

I've stayed at this hotel both times I've visited Kyoto. It's really close to Kyoto Station, which makes getting around super convenient, and it's very clean. They even have a hot spring, which is amazing after a long day of sightseeing. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!
