Beautiful scenery, excellent location.

The hotel was pretty good overall. Its location is excellent, very close to Sanjusangendo Temple. The front desk staff, a lovely lady from China, was very thoughtful and helpful. The only minor drawback was that our room was quite a long walk from the elevator, which was a bit annoying.

This hotel is great in every season, except for the breakfast, which was a bit disappointing.

The environment is very good. Most of the service staff are Southeast Asians. Their service is not as meticulous as that of the Japanese, but it is also very good.

The hotel is nice. However, the weather was not so good. The hotel is not too far from Kyoto station but not close to any major attractions by walking.  Terrence is comfortable with a nice view over the garden and Japanese not call amenities. Maiko performance are available on Tuesdays and Sundays. Food is good.

The location is excellent, right behind Yodobashi, which is super convenient. You can access the subway directly from the hotel, and Kyoto Station is just a few minutes' walk to the right. If you head out to the left and cross the street, there are two bus stops.

The room I was initially assigned had a window facing a wall, which felt quite claustrophobic. I paid extra to upgrade to a street-facing room. The hotel is close to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for getting around. Booking in advance definitely offered good value for money.

The best Marriott experience! The pillows and bedding were incredibly clean and comfortable. We booked two twin rooms and absolutely loved them! The hotel even provides Refa hair dryers, which is a nice touch. The combs offered at the front desk were also great. They also provide facial cleanser and lotion. The location is super convenient, right outside Kyoto Station.

The hotel is about 500 meters from the subway station and very close to Kawaramachi. You can walk its entire length, and there are supermarkets, with a Lawson convenience store right downstairs. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent, and the room is cleaned daily.

This hotel is great, just a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Station. The front desk staff provided excellent and thoughtful service. The room was comfortable and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. I really enjoyed the public bath; it helped me wash away a full day's fatigue. The buffet breakfast was more Japanese-style with a wide variety of dishes. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Located behind Kyoto Station, I got a bit lost trying to find it the first time, but once I knew where it was, it was easy to get to. It's very close to Kyoto Station, clean, and most importantly, quiet. I had some time before check-in and was waiting, but they let me check in a little early. I was very pleased with the hotel room design, comfort and space. The parking is first come first serve even though I had requested for it earlier so I had to park elsewhere for the first few nights. Location is excellent. Staff even found my discarded SIM card and were honest to callback and inform me about it.

I chose this hotel because they mentioned to have parking spot however it was very disappointed. Everyday you have to go somewhere else to park and pay a very high fee. The reception is not very helpful and feel very frustrated. The hot spring is dirty and packed with people.

Location: Superb! Located between 2 stations - SANJO and Kyoto shiyakusho-Mae station. Shiyakusho-Mae is nearer to the hotel (exit 1),  about a min walk away after climbing two flights of stairs. Always a great stay! The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. There's a Starbucks right outside the hotel, which was perfect for a hot latte on a cold day – very nice. Hotels were all more expensive due to the holiday, so I found this place with a spacious triple room. It was an easy switch from the Daiwa (Hotel). The location is great, and breakfast was decent.

I booked this through Ctrip's group buy, and it was excellent value for money. Although the room was small, it was very well-designed. It was also very convenient and safe for my child to stay there alone. The Hankyu Line and Karasuma Subway Line are both within a ten-minute walk from the hotel. We stayed during a busy holiday weekend and the hotel was quite busy. Despite that, it was easy to use the hotel amenities (public bath, free coffee and tea and snack service) without feeling rushed or overcrowded. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The room's windows didn't open, which was a bit pointless. The smoke smell from the bed was quite strong, and the receptionist immediately dropped her attitude when she mentioned the smoke smell. She told me I had a smoking room. I checked out a non-smoking room that day, and it was only a few bucks more, but she didn't mention it.

Good overall, however a few bits with the room. There is no mirror that we found in the room outside of the bathroom, there is also a window that we couldn’t see a way of blocking out light (no curtain). A very good experience. The reception is present till 24 00, so we had no problem with a late check in. Very nice staff, they answered all our questions about moving around Kyoto and where to rent bikes. We did not have breakfast because we did not want to, so I cannot say anything about it.
