Grand Mercure Phuket Patong in Patong

It was just okay. I told the front desk I didn't want a room at the end of the corridor, but they still gave me one in a corner of one of the buildings, with a view as shown in the picture. Maybe it was because I arrived at midnight, and there was only one staff member helping a Western guest with their luggage while showing them the way, completely ignoring our bags. I had prepared a lot of tips beforehand, but I decided not to give any since we didn't receive service. The restaurant staff, however, were very friendly. The room was also quite small. The location in Patong is decent, convenient for going to the beach. I stayed in Karon afterwards, and I think I'll stick to Karon or Kata in the future.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's about a 10-minute walk to Jungceylon Shopping Center, and the nearest 7-Eleven is only about 5 minutes away. Patong Beach is also roughly 10 minutes away. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but very clean. The pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The hotel staff are really friendly, always smiling from arrival to departure, and they provide very attentive service. Oh, and I thought the hotel breakfast was fantastic; you can fill up in the morning and skip lunch. I definitely recommend getting breakfast. Overall, I'm very satisfied—a great choice!

We stayed at Grand Mercure Hotel Phuket for three days, and even though we didn’t spend much time in the hotel because we were busy with activities, the hospitality truly stood out. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, they surprised us with a lovely cake to celebrate our anniversary — such a thoughtful gesture!

Throughout our stay, the team was very helpful with arranging and recommending activities. They didn’t just give general directions; they provided detailed information about local agencies and options, which made planning everything so much easier.

The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable. Although the location is a bit far from Patong Beach, it’s actually perfect for those planning to join outdoor activities, as most of them are outside the Patong area anyway.

Overall, a wonderful stay — highly recommended for anyone looking for great service and genuine hospitality in Phuket!

Our trip has been wonderful experience with hotel - I have to say — this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Hotel is in great location and the service was EXCELLENT, all the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay.

Airport pick up service was seamless easy. Check in was smooth, Teh greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, which immediately made us feel welcome. Beautiful choc cake was served in our room, arranged by reservation (Kwan)

The design of the hotel is elegant and high-quality, with a modern and welcoming atmosphere, everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained — from the rooms to the common areas.

Our room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully maintained, providing the comfort we needed throughout out stay, Sa from housekeeping is amazing, she did our make up room while we were out and left beautiful towel craft she set up, a very pleasant surprise, we loved it!

Another highlight, is Bubbles restaurant is fantastic, our daily breakfast never fails to impress, lots of menu selection and variety. Foods were nicely presented, tasty and fresh. Leila, made best omelet’s

Our dining experience was wonderful, the oven baked fish Seabass - this whole fish has been removed with no bones, I’m sorry but this an extra level of AWESOME! We also had room service - ordered Margaritas pizza and it ended up with Hawaiian because we asked for! It’s our favourite. All up we had 3 times pizzas during the stay. Great bartenders made us nice cocktails at Bubbles, our favourite is pinacolada and Singapore sling. We loved our happy hours!

Nut from the spa is friendly and professional, we had a great foot massage which was accommodated in last minute

Nas from front office, made check out process easy and smooth. The hotel left memorable experience for us as we have spent most of times in hotel and their outlets. All staffs that genuinely cares about their guests. We look forward to returning again

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The customer service was outstanding and the overall experience was perfect. The facilities, breakfast buffet, location, and service were all top-notch and exceeded our expectations. The only minor inconvenience was having to wait an extra hour until 3 PM for the check-in, but apart from that, everything was above par. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel with such friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in a pool access room which was lovely, clean, and so convenient for a relaxing dip anytime. The only small downside was a few mosquito bites due to the surrounding greenery, but the lovely lady who cleaned our room, Fang, was so sweet — she even brought us mosquito spray to use, which was a thoughtful touch!

We ate at the Bubbles Restaurant a few times — the food and service were both excellent. The Grand Seafood Night was absolutely outstanding and well worth it.

If you’re visiting Phuket, I’d highly recommend this hotel. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance to everything — Bangla Road, Patong Beach, the shopping centre, bars, and restaurants. A perfect place to unwind while still being close to all the action.

Just finished up a wonderful stay at the hotel and wanted to drop a quick review! The location is fantastic—the beach is right nearby for a quick dip or sunset stroll, and we loved that the night market was just around the corner, it made the evenings fun and easy. For those who enjoy the nightlife, there are plenty of bars and pubs within easy walking distance.

A major plus for us was the breakfast. It was great to see they had thoughtful, dedicated vegetarian options specifically for Indian guests. Everything—from the excellent location to the delicious, inclusive breakfast—is part of the package, making it genuinely great value. Highly recommend! , and the main highlight is Indian person Chef "Ronnie" . He is very good at cooking and also in nature and on that day He made my day.
