I don’t understand the reviews mentioning insects – during our stay, we only noticed ants around the pool, but not in the room or common areas. One thing to note if you need WiFi, the quality and speed is very slow and low. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and we especially appreciated being given a late checkout.
Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor downsides.
The rooms where fine and spacious but are quite dated and in need of a decorating. Lots of marks on the walls and mouldy silicone in showers and around the jacuzzi. Shower was weak and sinks plug was broken.
Bed where big and comfy, fridge was a god send. Maids and staff where amazing. Breakfast was ok, but mostly cold and repetitive. We felt the charm could have done more to encourage guests to use the facilities a bit more because food and drinks looked and tasted nice. Location was out the way but the beach was quite but with all the same activities and food stalls. Overall we where happy with our stay at the charm but if you want 4/5 star then this isn't the place.
