The bathroom smelled musty, and the reception staff gave me the wrong closing time for the pool

The girl in charge of the changing rooms was very unfriendly; she wouldn't even let me shower and rudely told me it was closed. It's not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel

a very nice hotel to stay in, friendly atmosphere, energetic people, social activity, sports, food, spa, hammam, entertainment, etc. All kinds of transportation, the heart of Istanbul, is 5 minutes. I advise.

We've stayed here several times, and the staff is 5 out of 5. The food is delicious. The location is convenient, with the Civagir shopping center across the street. We've had nothing but positive experiences.

The small garden kind of thing it has is also very nice to be around although it sometimes smells like cigarets even when no one is smoking around. My safe and items were safe with the staff around

So very helpful and with a smile, the waiter for breakfast was very helpful and very cheery, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, The food is lovely in the restaurant up on 6 and the cafe down on the ground level fantastic food at good prices too

Amazing stay! The restaurant on the 6th floor was the highlight — delicious food, a stunning view of the mosque, and super friendly staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything

We stayed in a deluxe room which was very spacious and comfortable. The weather outside was quite chilly, but the hotel’s ambience, warm hospitality, and delicious food made our stay perfect

They assisted us with parking, carrying our luggage, making reservations, and even explaining how to get to the places we wanted to visit. Always with a genuine smile on their faces – something that’s very rare to find

The rooms are very clean but size of the rooms are a little tight but either way, i still recommend this hotel. Mahmut is very kind and welcoming there and the rest of the staff is too

I was inspired to visit after watching the Turkish series *Pera Palace*, and I highly recommend it. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and refined

Getting the chance to ride Turkey's first-ever elevator made us feel truly special, and the small keychain gifted to us as a honeymoon souvenir made us so happy. We felt genuinely well-taken care of throughout our stay

The windows are excellent, so it wasn’t particularly noisy — but it still feels like staying above a highway rather than in a historic hotel

It was the first electrified building outside the Ottoman imperial palace and the only place in the city to offer hot water, boasting Istanbul's first electric elevator

The staffs were all helpful and professional however lack the “warmth” I would usually get from other hotels (maybe because I’m a chatter)

The room was great, the service was excellent and attentive, and the food in the restaurant was the best in Turkey

It's a quiet location in the new city. The food court downstairs is convenient for dining, but the bar can be noisy until late on weekends. The breakfast is good, but a little greasy after eating it for two days in a row

The only drawback is that it gets a bit noisy at night, probably because it's quite lively downstairs, and the soundproofing of the doors isn't great—I could always hear the doors next door opening and closing

Thank for Iranian Spa lady which i dont know her name. But he helped us with our meeting and she is great. If u want exchange it is better to use grand Capisi exchanges

As for the noise from nearby nightclubs, it was quite disturbing and lasted until the early morning hours, especially for guests staying on the first three floors like us

We were clearly informed that changing to a room on a higher floor was not possible. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel’s location was good for those looking to stay near Taksim Square, but the room was relatively small and had no soundproofing

Baby pool was not open, swimming hat compulsory or can buy for 130TR from spa desk

Ver nice and it has fitness room and swimming pool. Very nice place.

When they did push me around they will end the journey without hanging around awkwardly as if waiting for a tip. This is not to say tipping will not be unwelcome. I actually did without feeling any pressure to do so

A lots of pros- Great breakfast, friendly staff, 24hr gym, free parking, very safe. Booked a one day tour to Troy, got picked up and drop off at the hotel, saved 2 trips to the Istanbul city,a present surprise

Lovely service by the restaurant staff. Wide spread of dishes at the breakfast buffet. Kadir Metin berkan have done a great job. mehmet(house keeping) sees to the cleanliness of the place.

Own experience - Location is far and not easily accessible from main tourist attractions. For self drive, the hotel is located next to a highway, if missed the turning, go around is 7 min

The staff were friendly and polite, especially spa Alfie best massage, who was exceptional and extremely polite and professional I also really enjoyed the open breakfast and the high quality of the food

Upon arrival we received a room facing the main street. We could not sleep well because of the noise of the cars, but the next day the room was replaced with a quieter one. Thanks to the understanding staff

Everything was good, but the room's bathroom is old and needs maintenance and updating

they kicked out hotel guest from the pool in order to bring other people from outside to spa and pool, I Don't recommend it at all

Good hotel, but the problem is that the mini bar doesn’t have tea, coffee, sugar, or water. You have to bring it from outside at your own expense. As for the reception staff, they were good and friendly

I've been stayed at the Nova Crystal Hotel for 3 nights. The service and cleanliness was above the expectation. The room has been cleaned everyday with change of blankets, detergents, towels and water

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hilton Mall of Istanbul. Everything was truly perfect—from the hotel facilities to the wide range of activities and suggestions for what to do in the area

I had the best experience in this beautiful hotel. The staff truly embody what customer service is all about and what a hospitality industry should be like

That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel! Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it

As I am travelling in the summer, I was looking for good air conditioning and quiet rooms in Istanbul as I had seen some bad reviews with other hotels

Don’t buy the travelcard at the hotel (followed another traveller’s advice); you can just tap in using a credit card at most pub transport stations

First of all, the hotel was absolutely amazing — everything met and even exceeded the expectations of a 5-star experience. A special thank you to Ahmut, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay

It was also my birthday during the trip, and the staff surprised me with a delicious cake — such a thoughtful gesture! The hospitality was truly outstanding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

When I want the room cleaned they come quickly. I thank the employee Rahmat a lot. She was never annoyed and gave us good service. I wish the tall guard would smile a little

Excellent hotel, I stayed for 5 days with family, Everything was good! Staff is nice & helpful! They have everything you need, Get the breakfast included! It’s worth it! Laundry service is great but you have to pay & it’s expensive! Great Gym, Pool, Sauna, Hotel is about 20 minutes away from major attractions but taxis all over! Great stay! Thank you!

It has a swimming pool, sauna, as well as a restaurant, but also free parking. The only disadvantage is the distance from the points of interest, but you can take the taxi or the metro

Personally, this is the best hotel to stay in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. They have many facilities provided such as pool, gym, sauna, massage, restaurant and Steam room

I acknowledge that it's the best luxury hotel in Istanbul. There was a minor service issue, but it was resolved very well, which is understandable given that they are a luxury hotel aiming to excel. Recommended.

The location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, and the services offered by Mandarin Oriental are impeccable and of top quality.

The shower button on the shower equipment is hard to press.

As soon as I entered the room, I was shocked by the beautiful sunrise over the Strait! The room is spacious and luxurious, and you can see the beautiful scenery of the Strait in both the living room and the bedroom

Great stay ,got a free room upgrade by ozgur who was great throughout our 8 days ,pool area could do with a make over and the second lift was out of order throughout the whole stay which at breakfast time was very frustrating as it never got to the 5th floor, but overall a great stay

The pillows were very uncomfortable, and housekeeping was inconsistent, sometimes not providing shower gel, only shampoo, and just one towel for two people

The room was very small, absolutely tiny! Other downsides: there weren't even any bottles of water in the room; the minibar was empty; and the kettle was dirty!!! Someone from the previous guests had brewed coffee directly in the kettle

And no one cleaned the kettle after the previous guests! Overall, the hotel is old. And sometimes you had to wait a really long time for the elevator. The breakfast is more or less okay, but it's the same every day

Also, omelets and fresh juices are extra. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not a 4-star hotel!!! 2 stars at most

The hotel has a good location, but overall it does not feel like a 4-star property – more like a 2-star by US or Asian standards

Have stayed here numerous times over the past ten years. They have maintained their excellent service standards over the years  Well done team Will see you soon again

The room was small, and the transportation wasn't very convenient.

Decent Gym / Fitness Room with an Air Purifier, newer equipment, missing an upright stationary bike. At least 3 Air Purifiers were observed in the Lobby area, I hope they were operational

Her massage skills are powerful, precise, and perfectly on point you can really feel her expertise in every movement. Even her voice is soft and relaxing, which made the whole experience even more calming

Although I couldn’t try the breakfast this time, from what I saw it looked rich in variety and very tasty. It’s truly rare to find a hotel in Istanbul that is operated with such care and attention

I just had a two-hour massage and spa package with Aulia, and it was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly kind, sweet, and respectful, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment

The hotel itself is located in an ideal spot — right in the heart of Sultanahmet, so it’s super close to major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar, all within walking distance

I went outside to get something to eat. There were plenty of options nearby. After 45 minutes, I came back and asked if it was ready – tada, my room was ready. I was able to get to my room about an hour earlier

Room was not what picture on website showed. Location was excellent. Price too high for offered room. Breakfast very good and many choices. Staff and personnel very friendly and helpful.

Everything was OK except rooms not being properly identified as with the amenities within a room,we been put in a room( Comfort Room) i can say is not fit for a couple, small and not suitable for a holiday stay, apart from that I cannot fault anything else, just one more thing i have to praise restaurant stuff for being polite and precise about service

Burak was very helpful to me on our last day at the hotel, I had lost my luggage key and he helped me unlock my luggage in one attempt! He even offered us complimentary drinks
