The mattress was old, with yellowed patches. There wasn't a duvet cover; you had to put one on yourself. There was only one pendant light, no bedside lamp. All the amenities were very basic. Breakfast was meager: cucumbers, tomatoes, sausages, and biscuits. It was about the standard of a hotel costing a little over 100 yuan in China—not cheap.

The staff at the reception were very friendly.

The room was clean. The front desk spoke Russian and could be translated using a mobile phone. Very welcoming.

There was only one hand towel, even though it was a double room. The carpets on the floor were old and slightly dirty. The linens were okay, as were the towels and robes. The food selection was limited, but it was tasty. The hallway smelled of smoke. The photo only shows the view from the window.

I arrived around 2am, but the quilt wasn't covered, so I had to put it on myself... There was also a strong smell of formaldehyde.

It takes about 30 minutes by taxi from the city center, but other than that, there are convenience stores and restaurants near the accommodation, and the owner is very friendly.

This was supposed to be boutique hotel and upon entering rooms, you could see it was properly cleaned as there was strands of hair of the former occupants. Hotel was okay. Room was clean, silent and huge enough. We were provided with all bathroom accessories - even teethbrush. We could pay by MasterCard. Last day we needed to wait more than 40 minutes for ordered breakfast. It was strange, because only other 5 guests were there.

The room is clean and tidy, the mattress is comfortable, breakfast is included and they can even bring it to the room! There is everything for living: slippers, towels, robes, shower gel and shampoo, dental kit, comb, tea corner. Pleasant atmosphere. In the evening we had a delicious dinner at reasonable prices. It's a little walk from the bus stop from the airport, but it's a nice hotel. It's conveniently located for sightseeing if you take the bus. The symbolic tower, Bayterek, is about a 10-minute walk away. The reception staff were very kind, but they couldn't speak English.

The food is delicious, and the location is great for a winter vacation.

We stayed in a yurt, which was very comfortable and warm for November, and the breakfasts were wonderfully delicious. There are also places to walk around and explore. However, the ski slopes are quite close to the yurts, which might be a disturbance for those who want to sleep in.

The negative side is that one half of the hotel is facing the busy road, I couldn't sleep until 3am, then lost consciousness, and couldn't function the next day.
