Hotels in Kazakhstan

It clearly states check-in is after 2 PM, but they forced me to pay for an extra night because I arrived at 12 AM. What's the point? It feels like a scam. And then they demand check-out by 12 PM... The next day, I checked out before 12 PM and requested a refund for that extra day, but they refused to give it.

The room environment is nice, but the facilities are a bit old.

The hotel was excellent in every aspect. I wanted to extend my stay, but couldn't secure a reservation.

The front desk staff were very friendly and English-speaking. The breakfast spread was quite generous. The hotel seemed to cater predominantly to Chinese guests. My only minor complaint is that it was a bit pricey; otherwise, everything was good.

Best hotel in Pavlador. The receptionist tried to put me in a smaller room but I was having none of it, and got a nice big corner room. Please note that their double rooms (495sqft) are 50% larger than their deluxe double rooms (336sqft). Go figure.

I spent one night in this hotel. Reasonable prices, great staff, nice bar. I understand there is also spa but haven’t had time to check it out. Although there was a bit of a strange smell coming from the toilet, I compensated it with great view from the 8th floor.

Ertish has a multilingual staff, so English speakers will feel comfortable here. The decoration is elegant, the massage services are great, and the continental breakfast is nice. However, the water in my rooms was cold until I ran it for about 10 minutes. Despite that, I'd still recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a four-star hotel, 375 per night. The only drawback is that the air conditioning is not cold in this season, but the windows and interior facilities are very modern. It is better than many hotels in Almaty.

This is probably the best hotel in Aktau. Respectable, clean, conveniently located. The staff works well, very friendly. Very good room service, the food is delicious. Of course, this is an expensive hotel, but it's worth it. The sea is literally nearby.

One side has a sea view and the other side faces the street. The facilities are okay. After all, it is a chain brand and the price is quite reasonable. There are many varieties of breakfast, but there are only a few that are suitable for Chinese people.

Stayed for 7 days on business. The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Very good wifi connection. I've stayed here many times. This time I booked it myself and the price was not more expensive than what a local friend booked. It's a relatively high-end hotel in this city with a good environment and location.

It's super convenient for getting around, and it's easy to walk to many of the attractions. Definitely my top choice for a trip to Almaty.

Let's start with the positives: the hotel's location is decent, close to Mega, and situated in a quiet residential area. Compared to other hotels in Almaty, the price is relatively cheaper. Very satisfied! Although it looks a bit dated, it's clean, well-equipped, and has a strong Soviet feel. The hotel food is plentiful, and transportation is convenient, with excellent bus connections right outside. It's not far from the airport either, less than a 30-minute drive. I was surprised about the modernity of Kizilorda, and of the Sultan Plaza Hotel. Speedy check-in, friendly service, good restaurant. The room amenities, in particular the bed mattresses leave room for improvement.

Good hotel.. checked into a family room on the 7th floor with a view of the lake. We paid 20,000 tenge extra for a child, they made up the sofa. The room was very warm. This is the second hotel I stayed at in Almaty. It's definitely an old-money style hotel. The hotel is located near the Koktobe cable car, which is convenient for getting around. We stayed in a yurt, which was very comfortable and warm for November, and the breakfasts were wonderfully delicious. There are also places to walk around and explore. However, the ski slopes are quite close to the yurts, which might be a disturbance for those who want to sleep in.
