f you are looking for a nice and clean hotel on Patong Beach on the island of Phuket, you are in the right place

This hotel is one of the few on Patong Beach that is located directly on the beachfront, which means that just a few steps from your room, wearing your swimsuit and carrying a towel, you can relax on a private hotel sunbed (which is free of charge) with direct access to a beautiful and clean hotel pool or straight into the sea via the beach

Really enjoying staying there. With all staff are helpful especially Mr. First time come to Phuket & we will come again. Nice morning view with balcony to relax and watch people passing by the main road

Only thing is that it’s difficult to find the place first time, as the reception is hidden in a hotel and another entrance is through a restaurant

To mosque area 17min walk & to beach just 2min walk

The room was large enough but no slippers,toothbrush ,toothpaste were provided. And also the AC was very loud and it was impossible to sleep because of it. Girls working in front desk were nice and helpful

But the main thing is, this place is incredibly beautiful! There are professional photographers with drones who can take amazing aerial photos and videos for only 1500 baht

They also assisted me to book a photo shoot for the following day, so that was really seamless, they gave me a ring in my room asking me if I was ready

favorite place in Phuket! Quiet, clean, your own Thai wooden villa, staff friendly! I don't really care about photos and people at the entrance, so I am very chill to have the all pool and villa for me! Always here, if in Phuket! Love it!

But that was not the worst thing, next to this room is a wall where all the air conditioners from the rooms are hung, the noise was terrible, we asked to change the room or cancel the reservation, but they did not make concessions to us, so we left early for another hotel without a refund

The hotel looks a bit old, and the first-floor room I stayed in felt quite damp, so the air conditioning was always on and it was freezing. On the day I checked in, opening the door was like stepping into a freezer

The sea is also not that far, about 10 minutes. The rooms are small but everything is good. I noticed that there were many Russian-speaking people staying there

It's about 20 minutes to the sea, there is a market and currency exchange offices nearby. You can go for a massage right in the next house. There is a store and a pharmacy nearby, the road is not super busy

Great experience with the staff, super helpful and well organized. The only problem with the rooms is the bad terrace door that lets all the noise through, get earphones or plugs for an easier good night sleep.

We did not take breakfast, we bought sandwiches in Seven, there are two of them nearby and enjoyed them with coffee in the morning) There is everything you need nearby, a huge shopping center, markets, cafes

We didn't swim in Patong, we went to the neighboring beaches of Karon, Kata Yai, Kata Noi, the best for swimming, Yanui for snorkeling) The location of the hotel is excellent for traveling around the island

In bathroom no bath plug, difficult to take a bath, also water leaking, kitchen not allow to use, pillows very bad.

- weak water pressure during the day time - strangely it seemed like they were changing the pillows daily, couldn’t seem to find the same arrangement of pillows to sleep on each night

Lovely stay, great room with Pool View. Pool lovely. Right on Rawaii beach, close to great bars, restaurants and cafes. Sad to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. I was happy with my room, it was clean and organized. They have an elevator so you don’t have to stress about climbing stairs with you luggage

Its located really central and close to the big city life. Only negativ thing - no sunbeds at the pool is located in the sun

So if you come to enjoy the sun and just lay and chill at the pool maybe not the best place - but you can always walk over the road and lay at the beach to get the sun

They helped with accommodating two extra nights because of our travel plans and it has all the amenities you can ask for. The location is premium, next to the beach & bangla road. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel/resort

The pool area is extremely clean and relaxing. We absolutely loved the breakfast downstairs at James & Joyce the setting is lovely and relaxing in the mornings. A couple of nights we had dinner here and it was great

They also have live music on a Wednesday which is a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Phuket to try out this hotel, I can certainly say you will not be disappointed

Dara Hotel: Exceptional Value and Courtesy in Phuket! The Dara Hotel (โรงแรม ดารา) is a refreshingly honest and outstanding choice for accommodation, especially when considering the price point

During peak hours, several Grab drivers canceled normal bookings due to traffic, and we only managed to secure rides by booking Grab Premium at a higher cost

He told us about the Old Town Walking Street which we checked out on our first evening - so glad we did! Throughout our stay, whenever we had questions about where to eat or what to see, the staff were always happy to help

We upgraded our room - one with a balcony, though it faced a residential apartment opposite, so we kept the curtains closed most of the time for privacy

The location is quiet and peaceful, but the downside is that there isn’t much around the hotel. Getting to tourist attractions or shopping malls requires booking a Grab

Prefect location. It’s just a walking distance from a department store and a shopping mall. Even the street is busy the room is quiet except strange sound from the air conditioner in the middle of the night.

Check-in Experience: Would have appreciated more flexibility on check-in; arrived exhausted at 9:30 AM after long connecting flights and requested early access (I told them I was happy to pay), but had to wait until 3 PM

Shops, market, vibrant spots(like Bangla Street) , tuk-tuks were all conveniently close, perfect for easy exploration without hassle. The proximity to the beach added a relaxing vibe to the entire stay

Had a great room overlooking the shops and the beach at the end of the road. Quiet large room, very friendly and polite staff (young lady who also sells fresh coconuts daily curtesy of supporting and caring owner)

The hotel is run by minimal staff so you feel independent to use the space as you need. I have been to some hotels which were like kids school, too many rules on each point. A Starbucks is just around the corner

This hotel is quite close to Kamala Beach, which isn't too crowded and is generally peaceful. The rooms here are all very spacious, either suites or standalone villas, perched on a hillside with nice views

Very clean rooms with very beautiful view and of course nice staff one things you need to consider about it is the location is top of the mountain so you need to use the shuttle bus to go anywhere or you can rent a car definitely for next time I will book this hotel too

The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with great natural light and full amenities. We were exhausted from our travels, both physically and mentally, so upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel is not as convenient as I expected, however there are 4 shuttle bus services daily to Patong beach and the nearby shopping malls

Another thing is that we were going on a trip and wanted to order a breakfast box, but after reporting it to the front desk, I was told it was too late—I was seven minutes late, which was strange, considering there had been previous incidents

However, that same day, we noticed a lizard in the room. Feeling uncomfortable, we reported it to the front desk. They came to try to catch it, but after an unsuccessful attempt, it simply left the room

The hotel is perfectly located between two beaches. Kata Noi Beach is 7-8 minutes away, while Kata 1 Beach is 2 minutes away. There's a currency exchange office and a 7/11 nearby. The staff is incredibly friendly

Great hotel in the centre of Karon. Stayed on the 4th floor with a street view balcony. Can hear the night life but that didn’t bother me. Rear facing rooms may be a bit quieter. Clean rooms and friendly staff
