Patong Heights in Patong

Overall, it was ok, not impressed particularly.

Rooms are okay. nothing too special, a bit dirty in some hidden places, if anything. The hotel is really close to another building, almost like it stuck to it (not a very attractive building, may i add).

For the pool, there is 0 privacy, the people on the same floor as the pool are a stone throw away from the pool.

Their breakfast buffet really doesn't change much at all - so food can get bland and boring. The pancakes taste VERY artificial. There is a thai man that served us during out stay, but seems a little confused by many questions and comments; this may be the language barrier or him still being in training. There was also an older man in the backroom that seems to be the manager, he mostly kept to himself, but you can see him in his office right behind reception.

I enjoyed their shuttle service to the beach (very bumpy ride). Although its not the most reliable as they don't usually come down to the beach to pick you up. They expect you to call them even though the service is quite irregular (i.e. every 2-3 hours from 10:30am, until 7:30pm- totalling to 5 trips a day).

Overall, its a small, and hidden place to stay, if you want to be away from the patong beach madness that goes on.

Personally, I think many aspects can be polished up incl the water quality, the breakfast buffet, and the regularity of the bus services without the need to call them
