This was my first stay with Accor, and considering Novotel is positioned as a premium property, I had much higher expectations—especially for breakfast.

The resort offers a set menu breakfast option for guests preferring vegetarian or Jain food, but the execution was extremely disappointing. As per the provided Indian set menu, items like chana masala and plain paratha were listed, yet both were unavailable. What was served instead did not match the menu at all.

The sambar was extremely sweet, and when questioned, the chef mentioned that since 90% of guests are European, they prepare sweet sambar. Then—why label it an “Indian menu” at all? If the flavours are altered to suit European palates, it should honestly be called “Indian menu prepared for Europeans.”Authenticity was completely missing.

Adding to the poor experience, ants were present near the food counters, and shockingly, no staff member seemed concerned or made any effort to remove or replace the food. Hygiene at a breakfast buffet is non-negotiable, especially at a hotel of this category.

Overall, I did not find this stay value for money. The only positive aspect of the property is its location near Patong Beach. Apart from that, I would strongly suggest looking at better options around the Patong area, which offer superior service and food quality at similar or even better prices.

Very disappointing experience for a first Accor stay.

I would not recommend anyone to stay here for not one but many reasons -
I arrived a bit early at the hotel but they were adamant to not give me the room even 5 mins before check in time even though I had a child with me.
The swimming pool area had a towel stand but with a fine of 600 bhat if you forget to give the towel back.
No proper lift connectivity to rooms, we had to climb up and down multiple staircases to reach the room.
I asked for a plate and spoon from housekeeping to feedmy child but they said that I'll be charged for an empty plate and spoon also.
Overall not at all a guest friendly property. We felt as if we are in a hostel and not on vacation.
Definitely not going back to Novotel chain ever again.

Very well located hotel at the end of Patong beach on a slight hill. Good view from the rooms and swimming pool. Still what makes a hotel good is HR; the staff were always positive. And there is alwalys a specific person in all good hotels in the world who makes your stay and memories keep alive. For us this was Mr. Beat (and his team members: Mr. Tok, Mr. Bank and Mr. Nando). We didn't only join their stretching, yoga and aqua exercise, but also Mr. Beat's Thai Box lessons on the ring near the gym. It was my 6 year old son's highlight for the whole week. We already bought a muay thai short and gloves for him back at home:) Mr. Beat very well explained that boxing is just a sport and not for fight, except protecting himself and his family, if necessary.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Grassland Resort Phuket.
The staff were extremely friendly, the service was convenient, and the room was very clean; it made our trip truly unforgettable.
Highly recommended!

My spouse and I, both in our 50s, spent the New Year's holiday here. The room offered a view of the ocean and the sunset. Perhaps due to it being peak season, the towels were not always replenished. The building showed its age, but the breakfast buffet changed slightly each day and was delicious and enjoyable. It's located in the Patong Beach area, close to the beach, and we saw people from various countries enjoying their stay.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, our first international trip.

The stunning views and the warm, reassuring service from the staff made our stay truly comfortable!

Our room felt clean, but my wife was bothered by the number of small insects. I guess it really depends on the person – some will mind, some won't.

The food was absolutely delicious, with both Thai and Western options, so you definitely won't get bored even on a longer stay.

The location is fantastic, set on a hill right in front of the beach, offering amazing views and great access. There's also a convenience store nearby, which is very handy.

It's about an hour's taxi ride from Phuket International Airport. The hill leading up to the hotel is quite steep. However, if you ask the staff, they'll quickly arrange a pickup truck to take you up or down. My advice is to walk down once from the hotel to enjoy the view, and then just use the car service afterward.

There was a pool located in the courtyard. I felt like you'd need to be pretty confident to use it without feeling a bit self-conscious.

The hotel's massage service is highly rated, but we couldn't get a last-minute booking and missed out. If you're planning to get a massage, definitely book in advance!

When we first arrived, we were quite upset due to several reasons. Many areas were not wheelchair accessible, and the room we initially stayed in was not convenient for my mother. As a wheelchair user, she had to rely on the in-house shuttle bus service and repeatedly get in and out of the car. Even going to breakfast was very uncomfortable for her.
While we were sitting near the reception enjoying the view, the General Manager met us and introduced himself. He mentioned that he was concerned about my mother’s comfort because he knew that not all areas of the hotel were wheelchair accessible. I explained that my mother was indeed very uncomfortable and that we had already requested a room upgrade, regardless of the price. He assured us that he would try his best, although he could not guarantee anything.
That same evening, they upgraded both rooms (not only my mother’s but the other room as well) without any extra charge, simply to ensure we had a happy vacation.
All the staff were extremely helpful and always had smiles on their faces. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices.
The only small suggestion I would like to make is regarding the kids’ room. It would be better if it were open for about 12 hours or even 24 hours. At a previous hotel we stayed at, the kids’ playroom was accessible 24 hours using the room card.
Thank you very much—we truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel

What a great hotel. We booked this very last minute, after finding the hotel we had booked was rubbish.
Found this hotel to have some of the friendliest staff from our whole trip.
3 great pools to choose from. Great location - 20 minute walk to get to the lively part of Phuket.
Good variety and quality of food!
Only thing I would mention that could be improved would be to offer drinks round the pool earlier than 10:30am would be nice.

The air conditioning didn't worked properly (it stayed at 16 degrees Celsius and it barely cooled the room). We also didn't have hand towels and hair dryer. Apart from these it was ok for the price.

Nice place near the beach, walk 5 minute to the beach, kindly and friendly staff
The room is comfortable, clean, nice view on the roof top, I'll be back again soon.

The bathroom is very ugly, smelly and dirty. The room was also dirty, apparently they haven't cleaned. The towels provided were extremely smelly! The House is also extremely old and they do nothing. Dirty everywhere you look and it doesn't look anything like the photos when you want to book. The shower head is above the toilet and you need to use the same floor for showering. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room had a window that didn't have glass in it, when you opened the window you found out why, its the view on a wall. Not allowed to wash any toiletpaper down the toilet, which is not very comfortable. The AC was not really quitte. Room was on the street so it was very noisy. They gave us another room and it was a bit better  but also old and heavy noisy.
