We had a wonderful stay at Oi‑Qaragai Mountain Resort. The yurt was comfortable, clean, and full of character, beautifully combining traditional style with modern comfort

We stayed in a treehouse, which was small but very cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. It had everything we needed (fridge, TV, hairdryer, electric heater, shower amenities)

The resort is beautifully situated within a nature reserve, with lovely grounds and lighting… it felt like we were in the Alps… truly a fairytale! The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the property

We stayed in a yurt, which was very comfortable and warm for November, and the breakfasts were wonderfully delicious. There are also places to walk around and explore

Breakfast was superb, everything was fresh and delicious, they even served sparkling wine. Highly recommend! We had a wonderful time!

Staying surrounded by the mountains made the experience truly unique and relaxing. Special thanks to Zakir for his excellent service

Good location, about 5 minutes walk to subway station and a few bus stands nearby. The only drawback for this hotel is the bed, pillow and blanket are too old and thin.

The room was tiny, and the bed was incredibly narrow, only 0. The bathroom faucet was also difficult to use, and the decor was dated, reminding me of an old-fashioned motel back home, maybe even worse

Clean, cozy, cleaning every day! Upon returning from breakfast, the room was cleaned, towels and bed linen were clean. The buffet in the morning is also excellent, breakfast for every taste! Definitely, we recommend it!

There is a nice gym and a sauna for usage. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the tasty breakfast. ☕🍽 The view in the 8th floor ( breakfast) is awesome

Panoramic elevator with a view of the city and mountains. When in sunny weather early in the morning you go up to the 8th floor for breakfast, when the sun is just rising from behind the mountains

The street was quite noisy, but the view was nice on a nice day. The cleanliness was a bit lacking on the last two days; the cups weren't washed and put back in their places, and the water wasn't replenished

It's close to the city center but still very quiet. The service was excellent, and they even have a sauna and gym. The massage service was also quite good

The hotel is not very big, cozy, clean. Great view from the restaurant (8th floor). The restaurant serves delicious food. Pleasant smell in the hotel. The room is clean, looks new. Convenient location.

Overall, it's pretty good. The only drawback is the lack of Chinese-compatible power outlets.

Having stayed at four hotels during this trip with my friend, I found this particular hotel to be a bit overpriced for 800+ RMB, and the facilities could definitely use an upgrade

It's also within walking distance to a mosque, and surrounded by a wide variety of bakeries and clothing stores. The service is quite attentive too

The location is unbeatable, super convenient for visiting the beautiful Assumption Cathedral, and the surrounding area is lovely. If you're okay with Western breakfast, you'll find it quite good

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in front of 28 Panfilov Heroes Park, and next to Green Bazaar

The location is fantastic and the service is great. The only downside is that there's no breakfast, but everything else is perfect. Right across the street there's a big mall with a supermarket and lots of food options.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from a large shopping mall with a big supermarket offering everything you need for food and supplies. It's in the city center but still avoids the traffic jams

Everything is old and broken in the room. Kettle is broken, no water bottles in the room. They put a dispenser in the corridor. No tea or coffee bags in the room

Although the breakfast food selection is not much, it was still outstanding - the bread were fresh, the coffee selection is excellent, fresh cut fruits, and these were sufficient to fill my appetite during my stay for the breakfast! I would definitely recommend travellers and visitors to Almaty to consider staying at the Grand Tien Shan hotel, its a "GRAND" feeling you wouldn't want to miss! Enjoy

It is located centrally, enabling travellers to have easy assess to connecting public bus services, subways, walking distance to nearby eateries, restaurants, the famous Green Bazaar and the sceneic, spacious park that housed the famous Zenkov Cathedral! All the staffs were amazing, from the frontline to the housekeeping and managers on duty

They communicated well, speak good English, and were extremely patient and helpful in answering my questions about the hotel facilities, going to certain places, etc

I disliked the fact that housekeeping kept the windows open that really killed one night for me as it was minus degree outside and I came back late from a business trip

view on a side is charming with all the mountains. breakfast reasonable but sometime when crowded you feel something missing on organization level

I stayed here for a business trip. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it's convenient with restaurants, coffee shops, and a shopping mall nearby

I'd seen previous reviews mentioning that rooms on the 10th floor were under renovation, so I requested a mid-floor room just in case

The room was very big, and comfortable. The breakfast had a very large variety of salads, meats , fruits and cake. The location is very convient close to a shopping mall, and there are a few small coffee shops near by

The hotel is located in the prime area and is value for money compared to the other hotels in this region. The staff are really helpful and the receptionists are the most welcoming people. I will definitely visit again.

They did not accept to hand over the rooms until after giving them money for a full day of reservation. It is very bad that paying the amount of a full night for some hours, knowing that I booked two rooms for two weeks

Being in a foreign country with a language barrier, I communicated through a translator. The environment couldn't compare to hotels in China, but locals said it was very good and offered great value for money

Upon early arrival, they did not accept early delivery of the room until after giving them an amount of money for a day. We arrived at 8 in the morning tired

It also had a mini-fridge and screen mirroring function. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and I slept soundly after a long journey, feeling refreshed and ready to explore the sights the next day

From service to facilities to location, the value for money was outstanding! I had no disappointments whatsoever! I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Almaty, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

This was the first hotel we stayed at in Kazakhstan, and also the one we were most satisfied with. The room was very clean and tidy. Upon arrival, they immediately added a crib for us and provided children's toiletries

Facilities: Hair dryer, refrigerator, 220V power outlet. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Many convenience stores nearby. Breakfast: Average, limited variety. Overall, still worth recommending.

The room was spacious but felt old, and the water pressure was quite low. Being on the seventh floor also meant climbing two flights of stairs.

We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. Staffs are excellent, considerate and helpful. Breakfast is served from 7-10am and they prepared a packed for each of us as we left the hotel at 5am for the tour

After check out, the receptionist was so kind to book a taxi for us going to the airport. The hotel is a nice place to stay and it's nearby Ascencion Cathedral, Green Bazaar and Rakhat

I suspect that the trigger was jammed due to the hard water. Apart from that, everything else was quite good. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good

The hotel is very close to the snow-capped mountains. There are many old photos inside.

We were just here for the banyas, steam rooms and pools. Sadly, mountains weren't visible the day we were here, but, nonetheless, it was a wonderful experience

So many different kinds of saunas and indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis of various temperatures

The pools were so crowded that there was barely any sunbed to move, and all the sunbeds were fully occupied. Secondly, I noticed exposed electrical cables around some of the lighting fixtures near the pools

The flooring around the pools should either be replaced with a non-slip surface or treated with a proper anti-slip solution to prevent accidents. Some of the pools, especially the VIP pool area, were not clean

On my previous visits I did not have a stroller, but this time we came with our baby. There are no ramps, lifts, or proper accessible paths for strollers or guests with disabilities to reach the pool areas

Below are my observations and suggestions. I sincerely hope the hotel and spa management will take these comments into consideration and make the necessary improvements to enhance the guest experience

Everything else is ok, but the room does not provide drinking water or a kettle. This is a bit weird

The room was bit tiny, but fit for two person two open two big luggage at the same time. Bed also bit small, I almost fell during my sleep. Cleanliness is fine, no complaint. The breakfast choice is decent

Hotel is absolutely value for money if you get their suite. Its quite big and has partition in room and sitting area. Since its a 3 star hotel please dont expect too many facilities

Their is no gym or swimming pool, despite what booking. Also you need to goto separate room if you need Iron

The mini-bar in the room was completely free, which was a lovely touch. We also tried the hotel's restaurant, Auyl, which is highly recommended online. The restaurant itself is beautiful

Once we saw the room, I honestly didn't want to leave and just wanted to relax there. To top it all off, they also allowed us a late check-out, which was incredibly helpful

Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. It even started snowing as we left, making the whole setting even more magical

We even had a private sauna in the room! The hotel staff were fantastic; we arrived around 10 AM to drop off our luggage, and they kindly offered us an early check-in free of charge

Its a 2 star hotel so nothing much to say. The building is dated, as expected. Rooms werent cleaned during our stay. Bed mattress has completed its life but still hasnt been changed. The staff is courteous though
