I had a shared bathroom and the showers were always clean and hot and likewise the toilet was also clean. The hotel seemed almost empty, a relic of the past, though everything was very professional and well kept
My light wasn't working, however, I never asked for a replacement bulb as it stays light until the night in June. For the price paid I am completely content with my stay
There is a large supermarket attached to the building too and all the staff were very professional

The second floor faces the street, but it can be noisy at night. There's often a wedding in the adjacent party hall, which can be quite noisy. I requested a room change, but the hotel kept saying they had no rooms

The room is comfortable, you can't hear your neighbors, everything is new. There is a large park nearby, you can take a walk or ride a bike. (Which, by the way, you can take for free at the hotel)

The location is excellent—close to Medeu and ideal for long walks among apple and berry trees. The mountain views from the room were stunning and added to the experience. The food was another highlight

The waiters generally speak good English, the location is good, the rooms are very clean, the restaurant on the first floor serves fusion cuisine and even sushi, which is more in line with the tastes of Chinese people.

Upon request, they gave me my breakfast to go because I had an early morning flight. They arranged for a taxi to the airport. The next time I overnight in Astana again, I will definitely stay here again!
I loved my stay here! My flight to Astana was severely delayed, and I should have had to pay a cancellation fee for the first night at the hotel. Instead, the staff waived the fees for me
Hotel Aykun was a most pleasant stay. They even have a free sauna! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable

Our daughter's small one-person room on the bottom floor lacked an actual window tot he outside but otherwise was nice. Shower was pretty good but lacked a hand-held shower head, which is a slight negative point

BUT, a backup generator and hot water system are essential. At least to be able to take a shower in the spa area or elsewhere. The location is quite far from the airport by local standards and from the main attractions

the breakfast is good, there're fruit, varies of cheese, varies of smoke ham (including horse meat), dessert, varies of drinks (2 kind of juice, milk, tea, coffee), eggs, breads, salad and they start the breakfast time at 7
for 3 people there are one king bed and sofa bed that good and big enough to sleep in. the room facility is complete and clean also. the toiletries, hairdryer, big and small towel and there's heater in toilet too
There is a fridge, a water heater, an air conditioner, and a heater. The breakfast is a bit weak, and you will find some of the food we don't know the name of and it is delicious. So I had a cake, salad, and croissant

It's just so-so. If you have the budget, stay at the Ibis next door. This hotel is not as good as the 7 Days Inn in China.

There are parts of this hotel that remind me of the Soviet Union. The rooms have some old looking furniture, but they are a good size as are the bathrooms. Buffet breafast and good restaurant for other meals
They do have an English copy of the menu! Small area outside on the patio , but the open tents on the path down to the lake have a 30% service if you choose to order anything from the restaurant
This is a good 20-metre pool. Bike rental is free, as are the pedalos. We were on the 4th floor! Service is very good all round but not much English spoken

Friendly staff. Nice rooms. The extra bed was a cot and not very comfortable for our 13 yo. Food was good, but vegetarian options are limited. Nice pool and recreation room/gym.

The location near to airport around 15minutes ride by yandex. Most important thing is the hotel have elevator. Easy to move huge luggage to the room. But we can hear people chit chat in front of our room

The outside temperature was low, but the inside temperature was very high. It was very touching to see the cleaning lady kneeling to scrub the floor

This hotel is located right at the top of Shymbulak, making it the best possible location if your main goal is skiing. The atmosphere is amazing—very energetic and friendly with everyone having fun on the slopes
I highly recommend packing snacks if you eat late. Luggage: Transporting bags through the 3 cable car stops is a hassle. The hotel offers a luggage pickup service (from the 2nd station), but they charge a fee
If you need to go to reception or the restaurant, you have to dress in full gear and go outside. Dining: The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM and there are no other options at the top of the mountain
