Staff at reception, housekeeping and at breakfast area were attentive and were courteous. Fitness area too was excellent. Heated indoor swimming pool, gym and Russian sauna were very nice
I extended my stay for another night, and I must commend the hotel's thoughtfulness. The breakfast was quite good, but because I'm lactose intolerant, I got diarrhea after drinking milk
Luxury hotel. The room was very simple, but the room was simple. Night service is good.
When I asked if the hotel had any medication, they first checked if I was allergic to it before giving me the medicine. They were very considerate and attentive
The hotel is in a good location with spacious rooms. The level of service doesn't match the stated level. The bathroom is in terrible condition
The valve is difficult to remove, but it can be done. The faucet in the bathtub has no pressure, allowing for a good body wash, but washing your hair is extremely difficult
Everything is excellent with nice stuffs, clean room, good breakfast. The hotel is located really near the subway station.
Been hereany times. Relatively cheap. Breakfasts are OK. Clean, the rooms are quite small, which is compensated by the balcony with wonderful views of the mountains. Ask for the room looking on the mountains.
The hotel environment is clean and quiet, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is spotless. The service is warm and efficient
The breakfast offered a rich variety of choices, and despite being in a bustling area, it was incredibly quiet. You can see the thoughtful touches everywhere. Whether for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice
Its excellent location makes getting around easy, and the amenities are complete. It offers great value for money and is perfect for business travelers
I loved the room with a view of the snowy mountains! I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. The breakfast was also excellent.
Located right next door to the Kok-Tobe cablecar station, and in walking distance to lots of good cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and professional
Great location, and the breakfast was good.
Everything was good..staff is friendly..service was great..
Overall, it's a good 4-star hotel, and it even has a pool (though I didn't use it). The breakfast was just okay, but that might be typical for the local area. It's also very close to the subway
Breakfast was a little crowded and understaffed (some empty breakfast options and lots of dirty plates etc), so I recommend going to breakfast earlier. However, this didn't affect my stay, and I would stay here again
Set in the heart of Almaty City, a few hundred feet from the iconic Soviet era Khazakstan Hotel and 20 to 30 minutes from Almaty Airport, this Novotel is modern, clean and with all the usual, essential amenities
Although it opened in 2017, the interior is excellent and doesn't feel dated. Cleanliness: Excellent, with a housekeeper to help maintain cleanliness
Besides the housekeeper's assistance with cleanliness, the front desk even checked our passports during check-in and arranged a room with Chinese standard electrical outlets. It was incredibly convenient and touching
Environment: Constant temperature and humidity, very friendly in cold Astana. Located right on the central axis and just a 5-minute walk from the Tree of Life Monument, it's a great place for a trip
Beautiful hotel with incredible facilities and excellent attentive service, would definitely visit again.
The hotel deserves its five stars. There were some minor downsides, but overall the stay at the hotel left a pleasant impression. The hotel has a good spa center
Great hotel! Great service, everything is clean! Thank you so much!
Beautiful lobby and common areas. Excellent cuisine and restaurant. Will be convenient for both business trips and leisure, including with children. Conveniently, mega 10 minutes walk from the hotel
Excellent staff. The best location for those who travel by plane and arrived on business on the left bank. 5-star service. Very cozy hotel.
Good hotel, though far from the center, cozy place for breakfast. Breakfast is not very varied, but there is everything you need to start the day well) everyone is very polite, courteous and helpful. I liked the hotel
A good modern hotel, everything you need is there. It would be even better if the cosmetics were of one line, and not different at each check-in. Otherwise, no complaints.
Excellent hotel. Close to the airport and clean.
Room and amenities are good, however room service is below expectations from several order of dinners and lunches ordered I liked only the signature tea.
Excellent hotel, good service and tasty breakfast.
The service staffs are excellent as very attentive. The location is nearby to restaurants and mini marts. The room is clean with air conditioning. I will definitely come back to this hotel staying.
Everything was great. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, good soundproofing, no noise from the neighbors, and a convenient location
Hotel receptionist speak good english
The hotel is nice and clean, the breakfast is pretty actually, at least compared to American standards. Large selection of food with a slightly different hot food selection every day.
The amenities are nice and new, breakfast was delicious, but coffee had no taste😅 The location is brilliant if you want to stay close to the city center and avoid traffic jam
The hotel was very clean, and the front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, English, and Russian. The breakfast selection was extensive. It was a very large hotel with excellent soundproofing
A good place to stay right in the centre of the city. Baiterek, Moskva business centre and ministerial building are in 5 min walk. The room was clean and spacious, all necessities in the room
The rooms are quite comfortable, although the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it's very good.
Enough to satiate you for a good start of the day
Unfortunately the mattress was very hard. Coffee/ tea not replenished daily we had to keep asking. and and did not always arrive and no milk for coffee Good variety at breakfast and cook to order omeletes
Facilities: very new, very complete
Hygiene: quite clean
Environment: very convenient transportation
Service: very good service attitude, very thoughtful
Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady
The hotel is well located. It's a decent hotel for the budget, and it's fine for a one-night stay. The service is excellent.
The facilities, hygiene, environment, and services are all good.
Kate was welcoming and
informative upon check in. Guest service staff Malika gave us attentive care throughout our stay and accommodated our preferences, which truly enhanced our experience in the country
Concierge lady gave us comprehensive advice on where to visit. The view from both our room and the Sky Lounge was unparalleled
Good espresso both in the morning from the coffee machine and in the evening in the restaurant from a cone, this happens very rarely
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. When making the booking at Trip, make sure to select the number of guest correctly.
The room is a bit small, and the facilities are decent. The bathroom is quite bright, and breakfast is good with fruits available. Overall, it's a good value-for-money option in Almaty.
Convenient location, rich breakfast, and a clean room.
I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes
Best location, view on sea
Cozy rooms, excellent service staff, delicious breakfasts
Good hotel. The level is very good. Not ultra modern but very cozy. Breakfasts are very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is parking. Wi Fi. Near the sea. Gym. Sauna. Pools - indoor and outdoor.
Nice hotel with comfortable bed and pillows. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and a restaurant. The hotel is I a very good location shops, banks, restaurants around.
Good hotel, clean and good location.Staff are really helpful .Eleorna was very kind and professional. She always had a smile on her face.
Excellent hotel, everything is super. The room is excellent, everything you need is there. The hotel has a swimming pool.
Good location close to the sea side. Friendly staff. I enjoy my stay.
This is worth visit if you are looking for Indian food in Aksai
The ambience is good.
Staff is well behaved.
Taste of food is worth money.
Good budget hotel. I have stayed there several times last year.
It turns out there's a restaurant. The pasta isn't salty, it's a bit hard. Or is that how it's supposed to be, al dente? Because of the pleasant atmosphere, I'll probably come back and try other options
There are probably no better hotels in Aksay.
I gave it a 4 because they didn't give me a second towel, even though we shared one. They were a bit stingy, but otherwise, everything was new in our room.
Stayed here for 8 nights during a work visit to the Karachaganak site near Aksay. Overall comfortable and suitable for a work visit.
The best Ibis I've ever stayed in, rooms are very spacious and modern. They are extremely new and cleaned very well. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Great location, not far from the airport, perfect for business trips. The room was very clean and tidy, and the surrounding area is nice. It's close to the commercial street, making shopping and dining very convenient.
The room design is also good, with everything you need, though the bed was really soft, almost feeling like it sagged
Pretty good! The lighting design is excellent, there's plenty of hot water, and the heating works perfectly.
The location is excellent, with a famous Kazakh restaurant right downstairs, which was a great experience. It's very convenient to get to the pedestrian street and business center
The hotel facilities are among the best in Almaty, and the breakfast is plentiful
We were happy with the Room Cleaniness, Team cleaned on daily basis without giving any reminders. The staff here is lovely which is good thing. Overall we liked our stay and hope to return back in future
I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Almaty by IHG, and overall I had a very comfortable experience. The room was clean, modern, and well-organized, with a nice view of the city and mountains in the distance
The breakfast spread is excellent, with different fruits and vegetables every day. The grilled zucchini was absolutely delicious! The front desk staff were very helpful in finding the correct address on the taxi app
I especially appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the convenient workspace, which made it easy for me to get some work done. Breakfast was simple but fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions
Amazing hotel with a great overall experience. The room was comfortable and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient
Located in the south of the city, it's convenient for getting to Shymbulak. The road outside the hotel can get congested during peak hours

The hotel is in a great location 👍
The rooms are very clean.
The staff are all very friendly.
Best of all, it's spacious and the beautiful Caspian Sea is right in front of you!
The room is large, the toilet is small, and there is no iron. It is very inconvenient to iron clothes when traveling on business!
Many waiters at the front desk did not speak English, only one did
Behind the hotel is the Caspian Sea, which is very close. The Caspian Sea is great and it is safe to go there at night! I don’t recommend going to the restaurant on the third floor of the hotel
After staying for several days, one day the room was not cleaned that day, so I went to the front desk to ask for water and toilet paper, and it took me three times before they were delivered
The room is large and clean, the bed is comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and varied; one day they even served sturgeon for breakfast. Upon arrival, we discovered a clogged drain
The room is similar to that in China in the 1990s. The equipment is old and average. It is mainly a hotel for foreigners. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks simple Chinese. The breakfast is rich and tastes good
The hotel has certainly seen better days, but offers a unique Soviet-style architecture that anyone interested in art and history would appreciate. The location is also excellent.
GOOD
- Hotel is clean and in a good location
- Reasonably priced and you can negotiate a rate if you extend
- Lots of space in the lobby and each floor if you don't want to stay in your room
NEEDS IMPROVING
- Shower is very poor with little to no pressure -
- Beds are very hard and make your back sore, hotel has definitely seen better days
- Wifi is a bit poor and you have to register / connect at...
Clean rooms, terrible shower. To get WiFi you have to get your device registered at the front desk. Good breakfast. Great location. Across the park and cathedral
The lobby and lounges on each floor have their own design and again have that old sovjet touch to it. Next to its history the location is definitely the best part of the hotel
Rooms are good, nothing to complain about, and as a bonus you have a little balcony with views over the 28 soldier park
The staff are caring, hospitable and cheerful, always going above and beyond for your needs. The breakfast merged variety with the best quality I've ever experienced in a hotel ever
My goodness was the room luxurious and stunning for their most basic one. Without a doubt, if you are coming to Astana, which you should, The St
Everything was on satisfactory level. Best hotel in the City, at my own option. Breakfasts are exquisite with a lot of choice
It looks beautiful! I think the view from the Windows on the promenade is wonderful.
I’m surprised to find such high end hotel in Kazakhstan. It was a pleasant stay.
This was by far the best hotel experience of my life. Regis is the embodiment of luxury and in Astana it is extremely good value for money in a majestic city that is truly a hidden gem
The staff are usually very friendly and you can easily find somebody with a very good command of English, which is not always a given in Kazakhstan
This morning, the cleaning lady, seeing me going down with my big back for checking out, asked the hotel staff for assistance, and I was also allowed to use the pool (I had it for myself) after checking-out and before going to the airport
I just spent one night at the Rixos Turkistan, and had a great experience. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is connected with a small shopping centre with a supermarket. The spa and fitness centre are great
The pool in particular is huge and very much adapted for people who like swimming, with a smaller pool for children
I disliked the fact that housekeeping kept the windows open that really killed one night for me as it was minus degree outside and I came back late from a business trip
view on a side is charming with all the mountains. breakfast reasonable but sometime when crowded you feel something missing on organization level
location is great ,just close to good area for walking ,finding coffee and restaurants
Good hotel. But staff is very bad
Overall nice stay but could work on their wifi which is poor
