We stayed here in September and were amazed by the friendliness, cleanliness and entire atmosphere in the resort. From the moment of checking in, throughout the entire stay and also at the breakfast / dinner super polite and professional service, while giving the human and welcoming touch. Totally recommended!

Another excellent visit, we had a very enjoyable stay. Great food and accommodation. This is the best Barcelo we have stopped at so far. The Andalusian building style is very pleasing with its waterfalls and displays of flowers.

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff very good and the housekeeping staff were very good at their work. Food in restaurant was not of the temprature that l would expect.

The hotel has a fantastic location! It's right next to the train and bus stations, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing! There are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to attractions or the old town! A wide variety of supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, perfect for satisfying your cravings! The location is convenient for taking the train to nearby places, such as Grenada. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel and it is also a 20-minute walk to the tourist attractions. Had a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, have been to this hotel before but not since the refurbishment. Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Very good Hotel with a wide range of services and activities to do inside it. The food is good, where you have different dishes for all wishes and tastes. Everyday you have an after dinner show, where you can enjoy and laugh with the performance of Ernesto. You can also participate in the show. Definitely, was an experience which we'll repeat.

Room was clean but dated. Shower was the best i have experienced in a hotel. Pillows were too soft for me but others may like. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel needs modernization but i would definitely stay there again.

We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.

We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. My room overlooked the main pool (3008). Quite large balcony areas. Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed. A dated hotel, pools are saltwater, no entertainment in English but rooms and towels clean ever day, breakfast has a great selection, free parking although sometimes very very full. Plenty of sun beds especially between 15:00-17:00, siesta time, nothing much outside of hotel a bus or car trip to restaurants and bars, beaches close with lifeguards. The place is good. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities a good for kids and families. It is a distance away from central Marbella which is both good and not-so-good if you don’t have your transport. Taxis could be good option if you’re not renting a car (which we did). The people working in the hotel are 10/10. So friendly and helpful with attending guests at late hours. I just wished there is an indoor pool that is open for use and a free parking and coffee makers in the bedroom.

If you are a football fan just live at this hotel! As it locates nearby the home stadium of the Spanish football club Real Betis and fortunately I met some of the players as they lived at there before their home night game!! Hotel staff were very nice who were patient to answer your questions and suggest some tourist spots to you. Gym is quite small but overall was a good living experience

They allowed us to do an early check in. Quite a small room that was not too bright. No kettle so we had to go down to ask for one. They asked us to go to the Hotel's restaurant to get one. We don't know how to switch on the air conditioning and we lived beside the streets so we couldn't open windows to sleep. Our room's temperature was so high all of us woke up in the middle of the night perspiring...

Everything was clean, well-located, and the facilities were great. I'd definitely stay again.

Welcomed back by the amazing staff. There re so many who make you feel special from the reception to the hospitality staff they make you feel relaxed straight away. The food is exceptional we went all inclusive which meant we had lunch in the à la carte restaurant. I recommend trying the chef special and you must try the langostinos cocido. Absolutely perfect, beautiful hotel. Everything was flawless and better than expected and it was excellent value for money. The staff are wonderful. The only negative were the birds flying around the breakfast room. For a 5 star hotel which is so clean, it was very surprising to have birds inside in the breakfast room. We stayed 10 nights at Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa and enjoyed our time, but the hotel feels more like a four-star property dressed up as a five-star. The food was generally good, though more “cruise ship quality” than fine dining. The meat-grilling station at dinner was a nice touch—they’d cook your steak or pork fresh—but most other dishes were just okay. Breakfast was the biggest letdown...

Second visit to this hotel. Reception facilities and check out all good. Used the Iberostar ap whilst there and found it very good. We could keep a check on our additional spending, check activities, look at all the restaurants and bar menus- so very useful. We are in all of the restaurants except the Cartaria. Bodega was great for lunch as was the pool bar. Only disappointment was the Sea Soul beach...
