We stayed here in September and were amazed by the friendliness, cleanliness and entire atmosphere in the resort. From the moment of checking in, throughout the entire stay and also at the breakfast / dinner super polite and professional service, while giving the human and welcoming touch. Totally recommended!
Another excellent visit, we had a very enjoyable stay. Great food and accommodation. This is the best Barcelo we have stopped at so far. The Andalusian building style is very pleasing with its waterfalls and displays of flowers.
Hotel was clean and tidy, staff very good and the housekeeping staff were very good at their work. Food in restaurant was not of the temprature that l would expect.
Brilliant all round. Great hotel in great location. Staff always willing to assist with any query, Have visited before and will definitely be back .
The Hotel is nice but not for couples with the intention to relax. Food is good, but nothing too special. Rooms are not that good in shape but still clean.
Have just had a truly amazing massage with Martha-thank you to her for her strong, expert hands!! My sister also had a beautiful massage with Maria! Gracias a todos😃

Perfect location and nice Hotel with a lot of amenities.
Great place, lovely vibe. Rooms are super spacious and cozy, mattresses are made of stone, internet is barely useable, also from the stone age. (the wifi is 1.5Mb down... phone hotspot 40Mb down...which is also wireless... l o l ) Fine for a night though!
Lovely hotel, rooms a little basic. Breakfast was a challenge as the hot food was always on the cool side and the bacon was like chewing rubber. Location is on the quiet side but the grounds and pool area definitely the best bit of the hotel.
Been there in May. Amazing hotel. Good parking. Next year I'll surely be back
It was the perfect place for a business conference. The building and rooms were well taken care of. The food was excellent and plentiful.
We have loved this hotel from the very first time, so we returned again after 2 years, the place near the sand afore, gardens of the hotel very nice, the town clean but poor in services and restaurants out of season, lots of buildings all empty end of may, must be very very crowded in high season. The period we have been there, mid may, there has been lots of children (school classes), running around...

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, and the room felt brand new after its recent renovation. The spa facilities were excellent too. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
The most wonderful experience and amazing service we've ever had when traveling abroad. We traveled on holiday with our baby who sadly became very ill once there. The hotel went above and beyond to reassure and comfort us! Stunning room, amazing staff (who were always asking us how our little one was doing!), incredible food! I cannot wait to go back!!
This is highly recommended, a top hotel with wonderful service and amenities, delicious food, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. It is situated in a unique location with a beautiful garden, wellness facilities are included, and fitness is included. Extremely friendly service and helpfulness. There is only one word for it: TOP hotel.
Exceptional good hotel in Marbella. I stayed several days with my family in February and we were so glad to have choosen this Hotel. The newly renovated rooms are really spacious, nice and offers all amentities expected for a 5* Hotel. The outdoor pool is heated and can be used at all seasons. The hotel had a stunning and impressive exterior, incredibly friendly staff, beautiful interiors, a warm welcome service, and a spacious, comfortable room. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Enjoying breakfast in a bright, sun-filled space made the experience even better.
room service was perfect, location is good 15 minutes walk to center and 3 minutes to the beach. breakfast was okay but having fresh made omelets was good 🙃and waiting for coffee the none pleasant part but overall okay however I had better breakfast in the other hotels. stuff very professional and nice.
Gran Hotel Miramar is truly the crown jewel of Malaga's hospitality scene, housed in a magnificently restored early twentieth-century palace. The moment you step through the grand entrance, you are transported to an era of unparalleled elegance with soaring marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and exquisite period furnishings. The rooms offer exceptional comfort with modern amenities while preserving...
Excellent 4-night stay recently. Everything was dialed in so nicely. Food on site was phenomenal. Location allows for a short walk to wonderful cafes and food. Views of the sea are incredible. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Concierge helped with everything we needed, including mailing an item I left behind by accident. So glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Málaga.
We recently stayed at this beautiful historic hotel and, overall, we enjoyed our time here. The property has a grand, elegant atmosphere and one of the most beautifully decorated lobbies I have ever seen. The breakfast was good as well, although it was the same selection every morning. That said, for a rate of €360 per night, a few things were surprising. The spa is not included in the room rate and...

Fantastic hotel which is attached the the shopping centre and the major train station. Excellent buffet restaurant at the front and lovely staff who were very helpful with finding ways to get to the city centre. Room was lovely and big and bathroom shower was amazing!!!
Amazing Hotel beautiful rooms and great location definitely recommended !
Everything was fine, but I didn't expect that booking a room directly there would be more expensive. Also, when I was collecting my luggage, they didn't tell me that it had already been taken out, so I had to wait there.
Nice hotel just next to the train station with plenty of amenities like gym and sauna
The hotel has a fantastic location! It's right next to the train and bus stations, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing! There are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to attractions or the old town! A wide variety of supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, perfect for satisfying your cravings! Highly recommended!
The location is convenient for taking the train to nearby places, such as Grenada. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel and it is also a 20-minute walk to the tourist attractions. The breakfast is good and the room is comfortable. However, the towels for the swimming pool on the 8th floor need to be picked up in the basement.

Very good hotel with excellent services and food. Spotless clean
Had a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, have been to this hotel before but not since the refurbishment. Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Being a 4* would have expected a kettle or coffee machine. Rooms cleaned daily, clean bedding, very spacious rooms x2 double beds...
Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean. Great rooms. Food was really nice and plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again!
This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in Mojacar. Coming at end of the season jet2 only had two choices. Food: for the first few days we knew what we were eating and then the labels disappeared. . I absolutely love staying at this hotel. I'd rank it along with the best hotels I've ever stayed in, however, this is much, much cheaper. Service, fantastic. Food superb. Staff superb. Cleanliness superb. Rooms, fabulous. Facilities, top drawer. There is nothing I can fault. Fortunately, I'll be back again this year! Happy Days. Ian Bullock, UK
Room was clean but dated. Shower was the best i have experienced in a hotel. Pillows were too soft for me but others may like. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel needs modernization but i would definitely stay there again.
We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.
Stayed for a No Limits track event at Andalucia Circuit. The hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The food was decent. The staff were cheerful and pleasant. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Also to the dinning room staff, especially Bernardo and the lady with glasses who helped our son regarding vegan food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms but the air conditioning could be better. The swimming pools are great but the location to bars/restaurants/shops is not great
We've been coming to the Marina Mar and Marina playa hotels for 20 years now and cannot fault anything! The staff, the food, the service top notch especially if you're a family. A big shout out to Wally in the cafeteria, Juan Carlos and Reyes in the animation team, Maribel and Antonio in the restaurant, just to name a few, but cannot fault any of the team at the Marina Mar. See you next year without...
€5 gym fee per session Charging €5 to use the (empty) gym is a crappy thing to do. Loud “entertainment” till midnight each night.
A dated hotel, pools are saltwater, no entertainment in English but rooms and towels clean ever day, breakfast has a great selection, free parking although sometimes very very full. Plenty of sun beds especially between 15:00-17:00, siesta time, nothing much outside of hotel a bus or car trip to restaurants and bars, beaches close with lifeguards. In all a decent hotel if you are willing to drive
I thought the service in the hotel was absolutely first class. All the members of staff that I had any dealing swith were very helpful and very kind to me, my wife, and my two daughters. The highlight of my stay at the hotel was having night drinks at the hotel bar, where I was served by Carlos. I tremendously enjoyed our conversations and the drinks he prepared. Thank you Carlos! You helped us with a restaurant recommendation and were super friendly. But more importantly the cocktails were genuinely very very good! I have had many pornstar martini’s and yours was genuinely the best. My partner also had a great spicy margarita. Thanks for the hospitality!
This hotel is very nice. It has a big swimming pool which is indoors and outdoors ,and since we were travelling with kids it was a favourite for them. The buffet is worth it because of the great food and chef making food like eggs right in front of you. Great comfy rooms with large king bed. Plus one for amenities generally. PLAYABALLENA, PLAYACARTAYA, PLAYACANELA AND ALMUNECAR PLAYA OUR LAST VISITS to this great hotel chain. We have noticed this time the Hotel is super dated, most rooms are very old, for example my mother in law currently in room 105 has a very dated theme with aircon control from 20 years back. Her door...
Let me start this review by saying the staff are exceptional , 10 /10 nothing was too much trouble and we was always greeted with a smile and any requests that we made or problems we had they went out of their way to accommodate us which we truly appreciated . In particular Adam from the dining hall was amazing made us feel most welcome, Juan Antonio from the pool bar was brilliant and Emma from the...

The people working in the hotel are 10/10. So friendly and helpful with attending guests at late hours. I just wished there is an indoor pool that is open for use and a free parking and coffee makers in the bedroom.
If you are a football fan just live at this hotel! As it locates nearby the home stadium of the Spanish football club Real Betis and fortunately I met some of the players as they lived at there before their home night game!! Hotel staff were very nice who were patient to answer your questions and suggest some tourist spots to you. Gym is quite small but overall was a good living experience
Good property, plus free parking just outside the hotel
They allowed us to do an early check in. Quite a small room that was not too bright. No kettle so we had to go down to ask for one. They asked us to go to the Hotel's restaurant to get one. We don't know how to switch on the air conditioning and we lived beside the streets so we couldn't open windows to sleep. Our room's temperature was so high all of us woke up in the middle of the night perspiring...
Everything was clean, well-located, and the facilities were great. I'd definitely stay again.
* Hotel outside of the main city area, but good connections with a bus (every 10min) * Hotel rooms were Big and comfy * Shower design is a bit suboptimal, as there is no door to close and it is nearly impossible to avoid that water spills out in the floor... even by being extremely careful. * Breakfast is good * Staff is friendly & helpful

Welcomed back by the amazing staff. There re so many who make you feel special from the reception to the hospitality staff they make you feel relaxed straight away. The food is exceptional we went all inclusive which meant we had lunch in the à la carte restaurant. I recommend trying the chef special and you must try the langostinos cocido. Linde and his team looked after us so well. My lovely ladies...
From the Reception desk to the restaurant and bars, service is just excellent. The housekeepers are lovely, smiling, efficient and polite all the time. The reception area is beautiful, with lots of quiet and comfy settees and a bid TV screen for football lovers. Room is nice and comfortable with a good bed and pillows, chairs and balcony. Food is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, with lots...
Absolutely perfect, beautiful hotel. Everything was flawless and better than expected and it was excellent value for money. The staff are wonderful. The only negative were the birds flying around the breakfast room. For a 5 star hotel which is so clean, it was very surprising to have birds inside in the breakfast room. As someone who has a fear of birds, it was very unsettling and I didn't think...
We stayed 10 nights at Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa and enjoyed our time, but the hotel feels more like a four-star property dressed up as a five-star. The food was generally good, though more “cruise ship quality” than fine dining. The meat-grilling station at dinner was a nice touch—they’d cook your steak or pork fresh—but most other dishes were just okay. Breakfast was the biggest letdown...
Second visit to this hotel. Reception facilities and check out all good. Used the Iberostar ap whilst there and found it very good. We could keep a check on our additional spending, check activities, look at all the restaurants and bar menus- so very useful. We are in all of the restaurants except the Cartaria. Bodega was great for lunch as was the pool bar. Only disappointment was the Sea Soul beach...
exceptional blend of luxury and relaxation, with breathtaking sea view. The service is flawless, we loved every detail, from spa to great buffet. Perfect destination for couples, we will come back next year!
