The hotel was nice, but the food at the buffet was almost the same every day. It would have been better with more variety and a larger selection, especially for a 4-star hotel. I stayed here many years ago as a teenager with my parents and returned this September with my wife. And it was as good currently as it was all those years ago. We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. My room overlooked the main pool (3008). Quite large balcony areas. Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed. Do take your own towels though as they are not provided. Some beds looked rather grubby...

A dated hotel, pools are saltwater, no entertainment in English but rooms and towels clean ever day, breakfast has a great selection, free parking although sometimes very very full. Plenty of sun beds especially between 15:00-17:00, siesta time, nothing much outside of hotel a bus or car trip to restaurants and bars, beaches close with lifeguards. Nice hotel, great rooftop and bar space on top floor. Service is OK, called reception to ask for slippers they told me to come pick them up... Also shower drain was blocked so water flooded the bathroom, this should have been spotted and fixed by housekeeping.

Excellent location, very spacious rooms with spectacular views from its large terrace, it needs some details of renovation but in general it more than meets the requirements. Very large and comfortable bed

Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too.
