Double room with a kitchen so that it seems the room not spacious. Actually, the hotel offers half board with different themes at dinner. Easy to find a parking and direct access to the beach
From the moment you walk into the hotel, it feels as though you've entered the Alhambra itself. The architecture of this Iberostar is truly stunning: Arabic-inspired, colorful, with high-quality materials. The reception area is nothing short of majestic, with marble tiles, flowing fountains, wooden ceilings, and other details that leave a lasting impression. The building looks like a cute little castle.
It looks like the hotel is old but has been refurbished and the interior of the lobby looks spectacular!
We've been pleased with the mobile app where one can learn about all of the activities around the hotel as well as see expenses or provide feedback.
We've had a chance to stay at another Iberostar hotel, Royal Andaluz, prior to this and because of...
We stayed here for a very special family holiday last week and the hotel, staff and food was excellent.
I can't fault any aspects of the hotel, we each had excellent rooms, the staff were friendly and very accommodating.
My only criticism might be that they charge for the safe in the room, which isn't something I've experienced recently in hotels over the past 5-6 years or so, but at €3 a day, its...
The staff were all great, including waiting, cleaning and reception staff. Shame there’s no sun loungers at the beach, given it’s a beachside property. Towel system a bit annoying. Pools not being heated was an issue for October holiday but can imagine summer it’s ok. The one main issue we found was the allergy labelling on food was inconsistent and not clear at all. The staff were also not reassuring...

Don’t look any further - Fuerte Conil is an amazing place to stay for a family or a couple. The quality of the food, the warmth and kindness of the staff are next to none.
We arrived on the opening day of the season on a very wet and breezy day. Check in / check out is an absolute nightmare. Despite having 3 people on the front desk we waited nearly 20 minutes to check in and 20 to check out. The information gathering is bizarre and the time it takes is frustrating. There was also a bit of a damp smell throughout the hotel but this is understandable as the hotel has...
I visited Conil and this hotel for the first time in may 2025 (with my girlfriend). We found it (overall) a good/attractive hotel. In october 2025 i returned for a 3 weeks stay for an spanish course in Conil. Due to the closure of Fuerte Conil early november i had to stay two extra weeks in 3 extra hotels (all 4star hipotels: in Conil, Novo SanctPetri and Jerez). Looking back at Fuerte Conil: it has...
Stayed here in the second half of October on a great half board deal with Jet2 from the UK and was blown away by how good the hotel and the town of Conil de la Frontera is. Clean, spacious, the staff work really hard to make it a slick efficient experience. I requested a quiet room and was in the separate block. The room, hotel and town were so peaceful - no music blaring round the pool here. The...
Very good hotel. We have spent a week from 3rd October, flew in on jet2 to Jerez then coach transfer. Rooms well maintained and good standard we were in building 2, Staff very friendly and helpful, Food very good we did b&b and paid for evening meal separate, would have done full board, Conil is about a 15 mins walk If British learn a few basic Spanish phrases to get you along main countries catered...
I spent one night at the hotel this past weekend, and it was by far one of the best experiences I've had in years. The location is absolutely stunning, with direct access to wild, expansive beaches. Surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the village of Conil, it offers the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience.
There’s plenty of free parking available right next to the hotel. The rooms...

Perfect location and nice Hotel with a lot of amenities.
Great place, lovely vibe. Rooms are super spacious and cozy, mattresses are made of stone, internet is barely useable, also from the stone age. (the wifi is 1.5Mb down... phone hotspot 40Mb down...which is also wireless... l o l ) Fine for a night though!
Lovely hotel, rooms a little basic. Breakfast was a challenge as the hot food was always on the cool side and the bacon was like chewing rubber. Location is on the quiet side but the grounds and pool area definitely the best bit of the hotel.
Been there in May. Amazing hotel. Good parking. Next year I'll surely be back
It was the perfect place for a business conference. The building and rooms were well taken care of. The food was excellent and plentiful.
We have loved this hotel from the very first time, so we returned again after 2 years, the place near the sand afore, gardens of the hotel very nice, the town clean but poor in services and restaurants out of season, lots of buildings all empty end of may, must be very very crowded in high season.

I’ve been going to this specialist for a long time, even back when she worked at another place, and I was so happy to follow her to her own studio. I truly wouldn’t trust my skin to anyone else.
She is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, and you can really feel how much she cares about her clients and the results. Every visit feels personal, calm, and relaxing.
I’m beyond happy with the results...
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall for a little business trip. I had the all inclusive package and was happy to see there was consistent food and drink options throughout the day. The staff and bartenders were all very lovely and accommodating to any questions. The room was spacious with a decent sized balcony if needed. I would say entertainment could have been slightly better/longer as most...
I was given a nice room which is recently been renovated.
I noted the shower was fabulous and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was nice the staff was super efficient however I couldn't hear myself think for the noise in the dinning room. People were shouting to each other because the dinning room was packed.
Note It's a bit of a walk from the beach however if you're looking for a cheap all...
We arrived last Friday for 7 days, the hotel is good but could be loads better. Firstly when we arrived it was clear that the hotel was tired and was what seems like two hotels attached together so the layout was all weird. Reception staff welcoming and also fantastic at check out.
Bar and restaurant staff friendly and helpful.

Every area clean.
Loved the waterfall feature in the central lobbies.
Food was lovely, everyone is so hard working, well done to all. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Really enjoyed
Everything was really good — clean rooms, a beautiful hotel environment, and delicious food.
Very clean hotel, staff went the extra mile, we had a couple of rainy days and the entertainment team made sure the guests were still entertained. Good selection for eating, very fresh and varied each day. Only negative if it even is one, there’s only one table tennis table and you have to go to reception to get bats and ball with an hour slot, tried on a few occasions but was always just missing out...
The restaurant staff, especially Alberto, were very good.
They used to make veggie food twice a day for us. The only problem was that there was a very limited choice. T

The staff were superb from reception to, the cleaning staff, to the activity team at pool side. Cannot fault them, fantastic all round.
Hotel itself seemed I little run down. Quite a lot of things in disrepair or damaged. For example, the mini golf course is in desperate need of repair. There were cracked windows and boarded up windows. The kids play area outside the kids club was in bad repair. ...
Just spent a week here, and I have to say its a beautiful place. The food is really good lots of choice. The views are absolutely amazing. The animation team work there socks off, never stop entertaining. The bar staff, hotel staff and restaurant staff are so good and work so hard. So friendly too.

The room was immaculate and this was kept up throughout the stay . It was so close to the beach I could go for a swim and be back in my hot shower in 2 minutes . Perfect for morning runs & walks too . Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and the classes had fabulous leaders . It was an excellent place to stay
Lovely hotel. It's 3 connecting hotels. Entertainment everyday. Staff were always at reception and polite. Reason I gave it 4 stars - the room for 3 adults was not great. Fairly small room and the bathroom is even smaller - which is a shame because from the outside, the building is really nice.
Lots of food choices to pick from, but it does not massively change day-by-day
I ate in the adjoining sister hotel where I had been advised by other guests that the food was of a higher standard. I was very pleased with the quality and variety of meals. It was however disappointing to see many guests wearing pool-side clothes to dinner.

Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Everything was very good. Pleasant service, a clean room (cleaned every day), and tasty food. One thing wasn’t great — drinks for lunch and dinner had to be paid for separately (including water, coffee, tea, etc.) and there was no kettle in the room. Very nice sea view, and I don’t know why people say the hotel needs renovation — in my opinion everything is fine.
This hotel was clean, comfortable bed, clean bedsheets. Unfortunately the shower had didn't work but there was a bathtub which was enough. The area around the hotel is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the seating arrangement in the buffet is ridiculous. The food is good and lots of variety. But they have you do this weird yellow sheet system and a ridiculous long waiting line waiting to be seated. The waiters...
A very pleasant experience, a hotel with a beautifully landscaped exotic garden, with an added charm and funny decorations inspired by Halloween (I was accommodated at the end of October). This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like the location and that it caters to adults rather than families. The room are a little dated but they’re comfortable with good amenities
Just returned from a 3 week stay at this lovely hotel. This is out 8th or 9th time and yes there are a few changes, mainly the evening happy hour has gone but still one at lunchtime! The rooms are well equipped and spacious, food was delicious and the location to everything is perfect. We will see you next time Angela!
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the beach is directly across the street. The room was always left perfectly clean by the great staff here. Without notice the staff left a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate my birthday and left a heartfelt note. The only downside is the reservation of pool lounges, other guests would queue at 8:15am to keep lounges to themselves...

Pleasant hotel, the room was a bit dated but clean. A very nice outdoor pool.
This hotel although a little dated had excellent facilities and good food.
Be careful if you like an early night as we were in a junior suite which was right on top of the bar. The noise went on a little too late for us on a few nights. The entertainment stopped at 11.45 but the people didn't 😊
The staff was great at this hotel. They were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. The pool is really nice, and this hotel is right on the beach! The beach was amazing, and we walked back and forth between the pool & beach all day long. Also - Stephanie at the spa gives great massages! We took a taxi from the train station for $31 (Euro).
4.10.2025 My second stay at Hotel Amaragua in Torremolinos was generally okay, though the room was smaller than on my previous visit. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis — breakfast was lovely.

I liked the budget hotel especially the lobby, breakfast, staff and atmosphere. 🤗 Just expecting at least a kettle in the room or hot water for flask's or something similar.
Appreciate the complimentary bathroom extras but couldn't identify what was within the bottles? Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion?
Overall great 👍 economy hotel, comfortable bed and large room.

The room was spacious, tidy, and beautifully decorated, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The...
Amazing hotel! The rooms are specious. We added breakfast, which had really big selection and was delicious. The bar had great wine and sangria. The staff is attentive and helpful. Would recommend staying here.
Beautiful, centrally located hotel in the heart of the Old Town, a perfect location. I think it's the best option to start your visit to the main attractions.
The rooms are super comfortable. The staff service is magnificent, especially at reception; congratulations on the outstanding service! The breakfast is delicious, but it could be more varied as it seemed basic. The only drawback is the price...

The location is pretty good, and the facilities are decent, but the hotel still has quite a few issues.
When I first opened the window, there was a pungent sewer smell, so I quickly closed it. (It was an interior-facing room). I thought the smell wouldn't linger in the room, but when I came back from dinner, the entire room reeked. I contacted Trip.com to communicate with the hotel, and Trip.com was...
The hotel's location is unbeatable, right across from El Corte Inglés with plenty of dining options nearby, and it's convenient for visiting attractions. The rooms are spacious, perfect for both adults and children. Google Maps can be misleading when navigating to the hotel, often directing you down a very narrow alleyway when the hotel is actually on the main street. I recommend navigating to El Corte...
Poor experience in this hotel. First, the hotel has multiple buildings and they did not inform us which set of elevators we should use. Next, the wifi-password they provided was outdated, and they gave us new login details only after we went back down and asked for it. The bed is extremely squeaky, and the curtains do not cover the window at all, making the curtains redundant, and blinding us with...
The location and surroundings are excellent. From the balcony, you can see the snowy mountains and the Alhambra. Directly across the street downstairs is the bus stop for the airport, which is super convenient. The #33 bus goes directly from the train station to the hotel. The only downside is that the room still smells like new装修 (renovation), otherwise everything else was perfect.
I forgot a shirt when checking out, and honestly, I thought it was gone for good. But I decided to try my luck and contacted Trip.com customer service. They immediately reached out to the hotel and informed me that the staff had safely kept it for me. Since I was already in Madrid, I had to find someone to pick it up. Trip.com helped coordinate all the necessary information. It felt amazing to get...
Great location, delicious and varied breakfast, and the staff were very polite and friendly. I had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the grounds were well maintained, and everything was designed for a comfortable otdyh. The location by the ocean was a big plus and made it easy to truly unwind.
The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was good with a nice variety to choose from.
Of course, like anywhere, there are always small details...
A relaxing break in beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, from Florin who took out bags to our room and chatted about the history of the hotel- to the very attentive staff at dinner service.
This hotel is absolutely a recommendation. Perfect service, very friendly, everything in very good condition. Great breakfast We will come definitively again. Just one minor topic to improve: coffee could be more tasty!
Extremely professional and welcoming staff, always with a smile. Facilities were great and the Red level lounge was a great facility to relax and get snacks and drinks
Beautiful and very professionally run resort and a genuine Spanish/Andalusian upscale experience. Highlights were rooms and pools excellent, very good restaurants and one of the best beaches in the world! For sea swimming, all day long walking on the enormous beach with perfect sand and fantastic lunch and sunset cocktails at the wonderful Chiringuito, it's pretty much unbeatable. Our second stay...
Lovely hotel, but the food is very poor indeed if you don’t choose to use the speciality restaurants. The food in the Patio was cold every night (buffet restaurant). The chefs cooking the fresh options to order didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing. Not what you would expect in a five star hotel. We were red level and that was nice although the offering was repetitive. During the cooler...

A great hotel with excellent facilities. Spotless and clean with terrific staff who are friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and serviced every day, including fresh towels if desired. The beds were comfy and helped in getting a great nights sleep - A must when on holiday! The food is varied, local dishes and the evening show cooking offers a terrific chance to sample great freshly prepared...
Stayed 6 weeks.Roomy and family friendly rooms with double bed and a sofa and refrigerator. Big bathrooms. A big plus is that they tend to give pool level rooms to families with children. So easy to get in and out of the pool. The outside space was also roomy and with 2 sunshairs and big parasoll! Staff was friendly and keen to meet your needs or questions. The only negative part was: we put the don...
We loved this hotel! We only stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. We opted for a Junior Suite as we are a family of 4 and wanted a bit more space. The suite was massive and was ideal for us. It had a generously sized balcony with a lovely view. Fantastic pool, great location right by the beach, helpful staff, very clean and great facilities. We were the only non-Spanish guests...
We had a lovely, peaceful stay during the off-peak season. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and right on the beach with a few local shops nearby. I had emailed ahead to arrange a surprise upgrade for my mum’s 60th birthday, and the hotel kindly made it happen—it really made the trip special. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The food wasn’t quite to my taste, but it wasn’t bad either. Overall...
Ants and flys around the food. Also dirty dishes with clean ones. They where the only issue. The staff were very friendly, I have grown son who does not deal with people he does not know because of his autism but the staff where amazing with him. Yes I would go back and in fact iv booked to back at Christmas.
Very good and the staff were good and helpfull The food was excelent and bedrooms comfy . Live music and danceing in thr bar till late great fun. We only had to pay for the hotel and the breakfast was included for € 50
