Quite a pleasant stay. Hotel is clean and located at the very Central Area. Walking distance to a lot of food places.

I book this hotel because some people review if arrived hotel in the morning can check in early and free of charge but when I arrive 12pm, the staff said can check in early but need to pay. Check in front area smelly

Had a wonderful stay at Ji. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were attentive throughout the stay. The breakfast selection was normal, and not much different.

This Ji Hotel (Shanghai People's Square) always is my first priority to make reservation. The location is absolutely perfect which closed to subway entrance and Nanjing walking street. The staff are friendly and room is cleanliness.

Location is good, 5 mins walking distance to Nanjing East Road, surrounded by local eateries, room is comfortable and fairly clean. Amenities are limited, no fridge, no safe, and replenishment of water, tissue, tea, is inconsistent. The front desk is helpful and they will try their level best to assist even with language barrier. For those sensitive to sound and smoke the rooms are not sound proof...

The rooms are luxurious, elegant, comfortable, and spacious. Both the rooms and the public areas, as well as the surroundings, are clean and tidy. The hotel's service is very thoughtful; they provide welcome fruits upon check-in, and the housekeeping staff cleans the room twice daily. I primarily chose this hotel for its historical and cultural value. It's a highly recommended hotel.

Such a spacious room in the city center, truly comfortable! The complimentary afternoon tea was also excellent! The Rose Restaurant on the second floor offers exquisite dishes and even includes a free photoshoot. I'll definitely consider staying here again!

Excellent hotel with exceptional service level and equipment. Managing staff are friendly and responsive.

Beautiful place with a hall that looks like a cathedral, and a grand piano there. The staff were very courteous and will cater to our extra requirements. The doorman really goes out of the way to get the cab to the door.
