Thought hotel was good value both for its comfort and location. Short walk to walk streets taking you to crazy walk street to waters edge The Bund area. Do walk down in the evening- you'll enjoy the walk and really colorful skyline. Thought it was the best I've seen.

An older hotel with a grand lobby but the comfortable, clean rooms have been modernized. Great location just a block from the Nanjing Road pedestrian area. Most staff have at least some English, I never had problems being understood. Didn't eat there so can't comment on restaurant. I just want to express how amazing my experience at SSAW Boutique was! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The man at the front desk also helped me order food even though it was late at night and found me a restaurant that was open, I really appreciated that. Highly suggest staying here, the views from the rooms are also amazing.
